Teams can't be "shared". Their access is controlled by permissions set up through access levels in the system. As long as they have view access to either all teams or teams in their group (depending on your setup), they should be able to see the team. 

Oof, that's a lot of milestones. Have you tried using the milestone view of a project report to see if it can get you what you need natively?
