  • @RandyRoberts - reading your comment and your idea, I agree and I liked your idea.  I will say that my use case is very specific to expanding the functionality of filtering in Planner. It lacks the ability to do anything extensive with filtering in comparison to other parts of the tool.

  • The field just has to be made large enough to accommodate. We have ours set pretty wide so that this doesn't happen.   Edit: I just checked and our field is 200 wide. Also you can click and drag the column to resize it as needed to accommodate longer names.
