We'd love to be able to assign document access at the folder level on a
project template. There are some folders that we don't want our clients
to have access to and some folders where they need access.
We should be able to copy documents- moving documents is helpful but the
ability to copy could save our team loads of time. We have the ability
to copy/duplicate projects, tasks, programs, reports etc. not sure why
documents are not a part of that
Documents uploaded to a task, request or issue can be modified by
multiple users with access. However we are only able to report on the
last change. We are interested in tracking the name changes of a document
in this particular case although this idea could be expanded to other
properties as well. I...
It would be great to have the capability to add custom form on document
at a template level.Typically document metadata is often custom, and
adding the proper custom form manually to each document (even via batch
update) is a cumbersome action.Ideally defining a project template
should allow to also...
We need the ability to control the inherited document permissions at the
project/task/request level. Currently there is only the ability to
"never inherit document access from projects, tasks, requests, etc."
within an Access Level. Since this is an all or none setting, we have to
manually adjust sh...
Can anyone explain the technical details of document storage? We are
starting to share some PDF links stored in a project that is shared
systemwide out to large groups via MS Teams and emails (these PDFs are
things like process docs) and have discovered that the s3.amazonaws.com
link is more or less...
Currently, there is no way to regulate the creation of document folders.
If there is a user who has access to edit a document, they can then add
document folders. There should be a way to limit the number of folders
that users can create as well as which users are allowed to create those
Currently in the Request Page Summary Panel for Documents. The Document
Preview only support viewing image files. Others non image file will
only show the document icon.It would be great if there's a download
option included in the document preview for user to easily download the
require files in th...
When there is a long running project, documents start to be archived and
it can lead to the project being delayed. If the document archiving
could wait until the project is complete, that would be ideal.
There are teams that are interested in seeing if there could be
functionality to see when an approver has downloaded a document. This is
important as it will allow document owners to see if the approvers/team
members are taking action on the document.
WF has a significant gap in Document functionality. There is no way to
assign a type when a document is being uploaded. You can create a field
on a custom form and hope the user navigates to Custom forms, selects
the correct form and then updates the correct field, but that is
massively clumsy. WF c...
Right now when we do a multi-file download from WF, the resulting .zip
file, and unzipped folder name, has a very cryptic and completely
useless (to the user) name like ATSK8657044837605293599.zip.It gets
especially arduous when there are several of these zips and folders
jamming up my Downloads fol...
