Adobe Experience Manager Assets

Hi   Is it possible to apply ACL permissions to a metadata property specifically in the asset view as the admin view and asset view does not sync and are considered separate metadata schemas?

I want to edit an image directly within the AEM editor by selecting a portion of the image and adding elements like borders and polygons.
