Hi team, Has anyone tried using Universal Editor with AEM 6.5? I'm specifically looking to understand the setup required for an on-prem AEM 6.5.22 environment for a SPA application. The Universal Editor documentation mentions support for versions 6.5.21+ but lacks details on the necessary setup required to run it on environments. What is required for a successful setup in an environment for content authors (not for local development)? Does it require a separate license or the Universal Editor Service running outside of AEM? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hi all, My instance of AEM is having an issue with our Workfront connector. As of last week, users can't create linked project folders. We're also unable to access linked project folders that were previously uploaded, so users without a DAM license can't access the files they added to Workfront in the last 2 years. We met with a Workfront rep, but they believed it was an issue on the Workfront side. Still waiting to hear back from our AEM Assets reps. Anyone else having similar issues? Or any recommended approaches? Thanks,Morgan
Hello,We are currently looking into the integration of our development tools and Adobe Cloud Manager, specifically to integrate 3rd party packages that are NOT available through public repositories. After checking the documentation, it seems there are 2 options :Integrate with a private password protected maven repositoryThis approach currently raises security concernsThe preferred integration pattern would be OIDCUse the file based local repositoryAccording to this explanation, we can basically store the artifacts in our GIT repo so that they are retrieved as any other code source and then used as a dependencyThis is not a my preferred option but we'll do it if we have toAm I listing all possible options here ? Are there any other possibilities ? We also scanned through the API doc but did not find anything to push artifacts into Cloud Manager. Thanks in advance for your answer !

I have just recently drafted an article outlining all of my knowledge on integrating a JS front end with AEM. I would appreciate if you could provide some feedback and whether it can be further improved for the benefit of the wider AEM community. Hello everyone,I'm currently dealing with the renewal of our Workfront contract and wanted to gather opinions on the new licensing model. It seems like a revenue-driven move, and the lack of advance notice going into the financial year isn't giving off a positive vibe. It appears that all Planners and Workers will need to upgrade to the Standard license, which costs similar to what Planners currently do. Reviewers, previously free, now have to upgrade to Light, as the Contributor license is limited to making no more than 5 decisions a month (which I find quite perplexing). The removal of basic functionality from the Light license, such as completing assigned tasks and generating proofs, means Workers have to be unnecessarily upgraded to Standard.Has anyone gone through this process already and have any suggestions? Thanks,Marta
We are on AEM 6.5 and using acs commons package - 5.4.0. We are able to OOTB features of CCVAR i.e. page_properties inherited_page_properties But we want to use custom properties with custom prefix(Read a configuration/component and get values from it instead of using page properties). Tried to extend the properties as per (https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/contextual-content-variables/index.html) but could not. Has anyone tried implementing ContentVariableProvider and was able to add custom properties?
I am setting up a GraphQL endpoint in AEM and can successfully run queries and view responses. However, when I click the "Save As" button and enter a "Query Name," the query is not stored as a persisted query. Introduction In today's fast-paced digital landscape, releasing new features quickly and safely is crucial for staying competitive. Feature flags (also known as feature toggles) are a powerful tool that enables you to do just that. They allow you to turn features on or off without deploying new code, making them an essential tool for managing feature rollouts, A/B testing, and continuous integration. Adobe Target, a leading personalization and optimization tool, integrates feature flags to enhance your testing and targeting strategies. In this article, we’ll dive into what feature flags are, how to use them in Adobe Target, the benefits of doing so, and how to execute A/B tests with feature flags. We'll also explore real-world case studies and best practices What Are Feature Flags? Feature flags are a technique in software development that allows features to be conditionally enabled or disabled. They provide the ability to decouple feature releases from code deployment, allowing develo

Use a separate Custom Form “Campaign” field to break the Projects down further, but available for Groupings in Reports. Use Task Descriptions to put more information in the Description, allowing you to cut down on some Tasks. (Make sure your users are using a
The Growing Importance of Personalization in Content StrategyIn today’s fast-paced digital landscape, content demand is becoming increasingly critical for organizations as they strive to deliver personalization at scale. Connecting Marketo to Zapier allows you to unlock a world full of automation and integration capabilities. One way to do this is by sending a webhook from Marketo to Zapier containing information about an event or person and then using this to trigger a workflow to leverage all of the 3rd party integrations and automation tools that Zapier has which Marketo does not. If you want to learn how to set up webhooks in Marketo, see different use cases, and how to troubleshoot issues then check out the Webhook Quick Start Guide. In this blog post I will show you how to: Set up a Zap in Zapier to receive a webhook from Marketo Configure your webhook in Marketo to send to Zapier Request this webhook from the flow of a Marketo smart campaign I will use the example of sending information from a form fill in Marketo to Zapier so that a Jira ticket can be created and populated using the form fill information and a Slack message sent to notify people of the ticket’s creat

So my first tool I would like to share is what I call the Adobe Analytics pagename extractor. This is a quick and easy way for a user to get the pagename variable when using a datalayer based implementation method. The main thing here where its really efficient is when having many multiple URLs you need to get the pagename for each. Here is a link: https://deploi.ca/tools/adobe A quick user guide:- In top section enter the pagename datalayer object you want to find.- Then in field below enter all the URLs(max 500 at a time).- A progress list will appear and once completed a .csv text file is generated.- If results are good then just click and download the file.(if tweaks required just update datalayer object and re-run.) This also can work with other datalayer objects so I encourage you to try and experiment! Please also feel free to contact me if any issues or refinements you feel can help to make this tool even better! Thanks and I hope this helps you!
I have a requirement to implement Data-layer integration in Edge Delivery Services similar to the way we implement in aem(https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-learn/sites/integrations/adobe-client-data-layer/data-layer-overview). Is it possible to implement Data-layer integration in EDS?

Hi Folks, Based on this interesting challenge from @mariacr2, I'm pleased to share the following technique to easily edit a custom data parameter (e.g. a Tactic Delivery Date on a particular Task) and have it "echo" to its peers (e.g. all other Tasks on the same Project), without Fusion, and always kept "fresh" after each page refresh. Here's the textmode for the final column, noting that the trick is to go "up" (on a Task report or view) to each project.tasks in the nested listmethod: displayname=Other Tactic Delivery Date(s) type=iterate listdelimiter=<p> listmethod=nested(project.tasks).lists valueexpression={DE:Tactic Delivery Date} valueformat=HTML You could make the valueexpression more sophisticated (e.g. IF, CONCAT, etc.), and in a similar fashion, you could echo custom data between Issues on a Task or Project, Projects in a Program or Portfolio...lots of potential. Enjoy, have fun, and if you put it to good use, I'd ap
I am trying to set up universal editor in AEM 6.5 with service pack 22. Hello, WF community! Looking for some input, would like to understand what different customers are doing that have group admins. How do you handle governance/change management/updates in production? Not governance in terms of access levels and such, more like processes among group & sys admins when it comes to making changes in production for their groups. Are you doing a free for all approach where the group admins can do whatever they want directly in prod? Or do you have an approval process of sorts like group admins make updates in sandbox and only sys admins can review and push to prod? If you have guardrails or an approval process, what is it? I'm sure there's a mix, so looking for examples on your approach to group vs. sys admin change management/controls around what goes live in production. Thank you in advance!
