A use case has been added on how to use the Deduplication activity’s Merge functionality.  The Deduplication activity is used for removing duplicate rows from a data set. We are on 6.5.8 and have a requirement where-in we need to show page properties to a certain group while ensuring the corresponding group is not able to edit content and edit page properties. However when we provide read access to /content to that group we are not able to see page properties in action tool bar in Sites console. I have also overlayed /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/actions/selection/viewproperties and created a rendercondition to handle the scenario but still it doesnt work. We cant provide modify access to the group. Any pointers?

Some time back, we had 2 users.  Now we have many.  None of the new users can create anything, despite having all possible permissions. In the admin control panel, we assigned all possible permissions for each env to each user, i.e.publish-usersauthor-usersauthor-administratorsWhen the two old users open our sites in author, and hit create, the 2 original  But all our newer users, with exactly the same permissions only see this: We have tried deleting the users, re-adding them, trying to login on a different machine and browser, nothing works.We have raised a ticket with Adobe, but no response (since a week).This is stopping us go live.  Any one has any ideas? To recap:1) our original 2 users can create pages2) new users cant create pages.3) all users have identical permissions in admin console, and users were all added in the same way4) we use the adobe built in user authentication (not AD). We just spent 1 hour going through this with a Ad

Update Link References inside Experience fragment on Rollout  As we all know that when we create a live copy of experience fragment or rollout any experience fragments the site's link reference inside it does not get updated as it gets updated in a page. Hi,My touchui value property is not working for textfields.In the same way selected property is not working for the touchui select field.I am using arm 6.4 and coralui3.When I debug the code , when ever the cmp.getvalue().Val() is returning null and cmp.getvalue().isselected() methods is always returning false.So if any cmp.getvalue().somemethod() the functionality is not working.I have overridden the global.jsp and it is missing the componenthelper import.The issue is intermittent.Does the dialog structure causes the issues?Where can I validate the dialog in aem?How can I resolve the issue??

Hey all, I have the following SQL2 query where I am retrieving documents that have an associated notification. Users have notification nodes under their home path directory, with a documentPath attribute containing the path to the document. Users can have multiple notification nodes referencing the same document path. Is there a way to retrieve the list of unique document paths (no duplicates) of these documents? Currently, the below simple query will return duplicate documents if there are multiple notification nodes referencing the same document. I can see the pdf viewer in publish servers but in the varnish/webserver url the pdf viewer is not loaded. The sdk or the component div is not created, i am not seeing any errors in log or console.

I have built a form and I keep getting the message - Wrong Operand Type every time I either try to preview or save to PDF as the file suddenly becomes 90% blank (I can see the content boxes for any date fields in the form and if I click the highlight fields option I can see place holders for all of the content) but other than that it wont process properly. I have tried going through the document and made sure that item by item the fields are all inline with each other, have the same fonts, etc. I even tried deleting out every single item in the form, previewing it, then placing that item back in and moving on to the next to try a process of elimination to see if I could figure out what item(s) were causing the problem, but still no luck.Please help.CG

Hi, I am trying to connect to a window's AD server that's not LDAP enabled. I have all details DNS, Domain Controller etc. When I am trying to use Intial Directory Context I get an error that "java.naming/javax.naming.directory.InitialDirContext.getURLOrDefaultInitDirCtx(InitialDirContext.java:111)" As  a standalone java program I am able to establish connection but not when using in combination with AEM. Is there any other way of connecting where LDAP protocol is not used?  Thank you in advance!

Hi all - I recently implemented the 'fix' for opening the RTE in full-screen mode by default, by following these instructions - http://experience-aem.blogspot.com/2016/07/aem-62-touch-ui-rich-text-editor-inplace-editing-open-in-fullscreen-editing-start-event.html - but it seems to be causing issues with the 'system' code that loads font styles (and possibly other functionality).If I edit a Text component (via the 'pencil' icon) without this script in place (then click the Fullscreen icon) I see this:But when editing a Text component with the fix in place (with the full-screen editor opening automatically) I see this:Notice the smaller fonts, and JS errors in the console.  Has anyone else had this problem? I'm currently working on POC to integrate Adobe Target with external system ( CRM ). I want to use existing customer segment data created & stored in CRM for web personalization. Is there a way i can share segment information with Target  in real time or batch? Thanks Shubham

We are sending out emails using com.adobe.acs.commons.email.EmailService from AEM. Some times it working fine but some times I can see AuthenticationFailureException.If my config is not proper I should see the same error always. But it's working fine some time and some times it's throwing below error Error:javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: 535 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful Till now we were using adobe's SMTP details but now we are working on updating it to our own SMTP server. I see this issues as part of that update. Any help on this is greatly appreciated..

Set the property from the curl command in AEM. Hi all,I am not sure exactly what to get from you all but I thought I would ask anyway. I am in a very unique situation where I can essentially "start again" with marketing channels (COVID made such an impact that YOY reporting is no longer required). However looking at the adobe documentation, best practice for Marketing channels is to no longer use "Direct" or "Session Refresh". Is anyone else doing this as it seems like a very odd choice. Thanks
