I'm currently implementing Google Analytics on my website using both the Google Universal Analytics and gtag extensions in Adobe Launch.Consent management is handled through OneTrust, using the official extension, with the consent model set to opt-out by default. I’ve successfully configured custom code to ensure all Adobe-related cookies are only set after the user provides the appropriate consent. However, I've encountered an issue where Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, and _gat) are being dropped on page load, even when the user has not yet consented. From my investigation, it appears these cookies are automatically set by the Google Universal Analytics and gtag extensions, regardless of consent status.Question:Is there a recommended way to prevent these GA cookies from being set until the user has explicitly opted in — ideally while still using the Google Analytics and gtag extensions in Adobe Launch? Or does this require a more manual approach (e.g., loading GA scripts conditio
In this post, we’ll explore how the Object Browser in Data Distiller simplifies query authoring by providing quick and efficient access to datasets and metadata. Designed for large environments with numerous datasets, the Object Browser eliminates the need to keep multiple tabs open allowing you to focus more on building your queries while navigating through the dataset structure at the same time. Using the Object BrowserThe Object Browser helps you easily search and filter datasets within your database. To navigate your dataset:Enter a table name in the search field to dynamically filter available tables based on your input.Alternatively, select Tables to expand and browse the full list of datasets and tables. All datasets in your selected database are displayed in a navigation rail on the left side of the Query Editor, providing a consistent view of available data. Exploring Related TablesSome tables have related or child tables. You can click the arrow next to a table name to ex
Occasionally, we have a situation where a lead is accidentally deleted or merged with the wrong record. When this occurs, we can restore most of the data including acquisiton program and date, program memberships with successes and dates, etc. However, we cannot restore the cookie association because the cookie ID is not exposed on the lead record (or its exported data). Please expose the cookie ID, so we can use the technique described by Jep in the Discussion item (Is there a way to reassociate a cookie with a lead record without the lead taking another action?) to reassociate their cookie with the restored lead record.
I've had a couple of clients now go to delete a My Token on a program only to be told the token is in use. Unfortunately there's no easy way to determine how the token is being used. This is increasingly important since tokens can now be added to Guided Landing Page templates and as long as the template is in place and approved it will prevent the deletion of the token. It would be nice to have a "Used By" column for My Tokens, just like any other asset in the design studio.
It turns out program tokens can be in use in very strange ways, which makes it a necessity to have the "used by" functionality for program tokens. A use case I came across today: Original token is set up in a campaign folder. Someone erroneously made changes to the inherited token in a program that was stored inside that campaign folder. The program with the incorrectly overridden token was then cloned to an entirely different campaign folder. The cloned program retained its reference to the erroneously overridden token in the source program. Therefore, when we tried to remove the token this was not possible as it was still in use. We needed Marketo Support to trace where that was, because in the UI it was impossible to figure out. Although it can be argued that the link to the original overridden token should be broken in the cloning, providing visibility on where a program token is used prevents this confusion already quite well.
It would be great to see a list of places throughout a program where your program tokens are being used.Even if there was some way to run an audit to do the same thing that would work as well. This would help to know if tokens are no longer being used or to see if there are any other places it is being used that are not initially apparent.
WorkFront has no ability to 'undo last action' - in some cases this can be very troublesome - as it is quite easy to make a change to basic project behaviour, critical path and end dates. An 'Undo' last change function would be very useful if the Project owner has in-advertantly made a change that has caused multiple activities to be impacted. Even a - revert to last saved version function might be useful - at least allowing the project owner to go back to a version that they have already reviewed and approved with their team.
Hi all,I'm using the AEM Dispatcher Optimizer Tool (DOT) https://github.com/adobe/aem-dispatcher-optimizer-tool to validate my dispatcher configurations. It works well, but I’d like to exclude or ignore certain rules from validation (eg. specific filter rules or cache sections that are intentionally customized for our use case). Is there a way to skip or disable specific validations when running DOT?Thanks in advance!
I am trying to group by week against a report but it shows the dates as the Sunday rather than Monday.
We're trying to open up access to a request queue to users who have view access to a queue. However when we do this, users who are associated with the project group (users who were not apart of the primary company) lose the ability to submit request to this queue even though they have view access. Does anyone know why this would happen?
Usually name of variables / metrics / segments, but also their value, are something really technical. That kind of values absolutely do not suit the needs of top management who cannot read technical description. Also, when we do complex workspace the name of column is hidden because no space available in layout. So, why dont allow to overwrite and change color of any string we have into column/row head or cell?
In Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), I'm defining an audience using a rule where:registration_date <= expect_date - 3 months. The format of the registration_date is:2025-03-10T14:43:57Zand the format of the expect_date is:2025-06-03T00:00:00Z.This means that expect_date - 3 months evaluates to approximately:2025-03-03T00:00:00Z.Since 2025-03-10T14:43:57Z is after 2025-03-03T00:00:00Z, the profile should not meet the condition and should be excluded from the audience. However, in practice, this profile is still included in the audience. could you please advise why AJO behaves like that.
Description - Add field to capture the entry date of a report similar to the entry date of a issue, project, task, or user. Why is this feature important to you - This is important because I need to know how long a report has been available to be used. This helps tell the story of high quality reports that can be duplicated/copied for other users across my instance and peer customers of Adobe Workfront. If a report has been around for years and was recently modified that highlights importance and emphasizes need to secure it and have it monitored for quality control. The reports in Adobe Workfront are often used to drive key business decisions and knowing every aspect about a report is critical to data governance and management. How would you like the feature to work - Users should be able to add the field as a column (view), filter or grouping in similar manner as an entry date for a project, issue, or task. Current Behaviour - The field is not available in Workfront UI or API Explor
Description - The new calendar interface doesn't allow users to view as many rows as the old interface in each calendar day when in Month view. This is causing important information to drop off and have to be accessed by hovering over More. Why is this feature important to you - Our team prefers to have all items visible or at least be able to prioritize what they see.How would you like the feature to work - Allow them to reorder the items that appear in each day by dragging the important ones to the top of the list.Current Behaviour - Overflow tasks on each day default to More view and they have to hover over or click on them. The number of items also seems inconsistent. Some have 3 or 4 visible but others don't have any and default them to the more heading.
Description - Allow the option to hide the hourly breakdowns on weekly calendar view or expand the collection of calendar items in the top portion of the calendar Why is this feature important to you - We have many tasks that pull into a calendar view and the many tasks are now all scrunched together at the top. When the list is super long, a scroll bar appears and you can scroll within the tiny area. There is not a way to hide the hourly blocks below or expand the top portion to have better visibility into the items like the current/old calendar weekly view. How would you like the feature to work - Add a toggle button to hide the hourly blocks and/or a way to expand the top portion of the calendar to be able to see more items on the screen. Current/Old Behavior - New Calendar -
Is it possible to bring AA audience to AEP?
Hi,My organisation has recently migrated to the Admin Console for managing users. We added 4 external requestors to WF and when I checked these in the console, their ID type's were Federated. We have not federated them and I assumed they would be assigned as Adobe ID types.I'm waiting to hear back from the clients if they have access but want to understand this better. Is there a better process to follow to make sure they are Adobe ID's?ThanksMatt
We have .pgp encrypted files being ingested from Data Landing Zone via API. We would like to reference a source field attribute and update an existing target attribute that does not exist in the schema (or source file). Is this possible via Data Prep? Or would this require a post ingestion ETL with something like Data Distiller?
is it a possible option to collect data for the purpose of web analytics like "average time spent on page" even without user consent. we can consider collecting data without an ability to track back to the user. for ex: instead of collecting ECID as an identity, we can consider some other random identity and so this identity wont have an ability to track back to the user. reason asking this question because significant amount of user browsing is without consent, which means we also lose the ability to run visitor and page level metrics. Thanks
Hi Community,Are you awere of any customers in China using Workfront to manage their approval workflows for proofing? Thanks!
I have created a GraphQL endpoint on the author instance, and it works fine there. I’ve also published the GraphQL endpoint and the content fragment to the AEM publish instance. But when I try to access the GraphQL endpoint on the publish instance, I see the following errors. I already confirm that the endpoint is already publishedAEM Version - AEM CLOUD{"errors": [{"errorType": "ServletError","message": "Internal Servlet Failure","details": "Cannot invoke \"Object.getClass()\" because \"value\" is null"}]}This is the error. Is there a clue where I need to check this ?
I'm using the out-of-the-box (OOTB) sitemap feature in AEM as a Cloud Service, but the /sitemap.xml endpoint isn't returning the expected XML format. Instead, it either shows an empty page or doesn't render at all.I've confirmed that the Sitemap Generator is enabled and properly configured. The required OSGi services are active, and the pages are published. Still, the sitemap doesn’t generate or return the XML as expected.Has anyone faced this issue or is there a specific configuration or step I'm missing to get the OOTB sitemap working?
I'm trying to connect my AEM as a Cloud Service instance to Adobe I/O in order to call APIs like Adobe Target, Analytics, etc. What is the correct way to set up the integration with Adobe Developer Console?
Hi there, I have an AEP profile dataset with some million CRM records being connected to CJA. Most of profiles do not have events tied to the CRM ID, so we cannot view them in Analysis Workspace (as Adobe FAQ explains). However, the client needs to analyze all the customer records in CJA no matter they have had an event. In order to solve this, we generated one "fake event" per customer and the solution worked. The problem of this solution is that we need to ingest some million fake records monthly to analyze CRM data with a (monthly) time window, which is not recommendable from both licensing and data cleansing perspective. What would be the best fit approach to circumvent this limitation? Thanks in advance,
I have used webp images in content fragments. When I create a graphql query to get images path. The json is coming blank for those images. where as JPEG images path are showing perfectly fine. Do I need to enable webp in AEM as cloud to get images path or it is not supported in graphqlPlease advice
