When using the Core Component "Container" is there a way to restrict the width of the content area, which in turn, will affect the width of the AEM Layout Grid?See attached screens for current vs. desired results:vs.This can currently be achieved by placing one container in another container, but that is not elegant/ideal. The width is being set by putting "max-width:1200px" on the .cmp-container class.Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!

Coles improves customer experiences online and in-stores with Adobe Experience Manager Sites by Adobe Abstract Over the past decade, digital has dramatically changed how people shop. Online sales have grown rapidly, and consumers continue to follow the social media accounts of their favorite brands to get the latest news and offers. But research has also found that 78 percent of purchases will still be made in stores until 2024. That means that understanding how to bridge the gap between online and offline experiences will continue to be a critical question for retailers. For leading Australian retailer Coles, digital is a critical part of the company’s commitment to both customer service and sustainability. Coles is best known for its supermarket and convenience-store brands — two areas where in-store shopping is the norm. But digital plays a major role in how Coles connects with customers, from keeping them up-to-date on store hours, to sharing the latest promotions, to bridgi

There are several developments that require marketers to change the way they practice customer identification, segmentation, and engagement — and the first step is getting to know your data. While it is important to understand these changes to deliver a better customer experience, it is also helpful to take a step back and look at how the change in customer behavior is creating a cascade of changes in the marketing space itself. Specifically, we are seeing several developments that require marketers to change the way they practice customer identification, segmentation, and engagement. CMOs, marketing professionals, and other leaders who understand and plan for these changes will be in the best position to gather the resources

Experience Fragments (XF) is one way to author reusable Html blocks, however XF editor does not support React rendering and the goal here is to reuse render scripts written in React. By merging the models server side, App gets a unified model (replacing page includes) when a request is made to model json eg. https://author-p10961-e90064.adobeaemcloud.com/content/eaem-spa-page-include/us/en.model.json Solution 1) Create a component /apps/eaem-spa-page-include/components/spa-include with dialog field pagePath for selecting the page to be included... 2) Add the React render script ui.frontend\src\components\SPAInclude\index.tsx. This script is just a placeholder to give user instructions and also required by

What is a period cost?Period cost is a Marketo term that refers to the amount spent on a program. This amount is defined by the Marketo user in the Setup tab of a specific program. Information on how to add the period cost can be found on the Marketo Community. Why do we need period costs?Period costs are important for reporting in Marketo for a couple of reasons:The default behavior in Marketo is to only show programs with period costs in Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) reporting. If you do not put a period cost in the program Setup tab, you will be missing valuable information from your reports. Note that you now have the ability to override this default behavior at the Admin > Channel level as well as at the individual program level if desired. However, there are still other reasons you should include period cost in your programs, as explained below. The Program Cost Analysis, Program Opportunity Analysis, and Program Revenue Stage Analysis reports in RCA have cost-related options fo

Hi All, I have a usecase where I need to call an OOTB AEM Sling Servlet from a workflow step process and store the response from the servlet in asset metadata. Is there a way to call the sling servlet running in the same AEM instance without using the Apache HTTP api? I have already tried calling the servlet using the Apache HTTP api with basic authentication, and it works but, I have to hardcode the url to something like "http://localhost:4502/.... (in my local instance). Is there a better way to do this than using the http api? I don't like to hardcode (or use configs) the host:port to build the url and the credentials. And, i feel it defeats the purpose since I am trying to call the servlet from within the same AEM instance from a bundle. I would greatly appreciate any help or helpful pointers you can provide.-SKM
We have 7 AEM cloud instances. The vhosts files are complex, and we have issues with redirects etc.Testing by uploading to cloud takes 1-2 hours, so it takes a day to test a few changes. We want to run dispatcher locally. It obvoiusly requires editing the /etc/host file with the name one of our sites, e.g. 127.0.0.1 www.mysite.com Then when we hit http://www.mysite.com:8090 or https://www.mysite.com in a browser, we get: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR because there are no certificates etc installed. Has anyone solved this issue? In the vhosts, everything is "http". this means we see constant switching between SSL and non SSL whenever a rewrite rule happns, which means browsers see a lot of unnecessary redirects, which certainly affects performance and SEO. To try to fix this, we have puth https: in may of the rewrite rule targtes, but this doesnt seem to help
1. dispatcher is configured to communicate port 6000 to communicate with author2. when we type domain/crx/de in browser it is redirecting http://domain:6000/crx/de/index.jsphow to resolve issue https://domain/crx/de/index.jsp which should happen
