EXPECTED RESULTA new project OOTB that has Content Fragments enabled would allow an admin user to create language copies for Sites and Assets ,and create language copy of assets using the DAM Language Copy workflow would work by default. A custom translation project should not have to be created, nor should translation automation be required for assets. ISSUEI have created a new project and noted that I am not able to see / access the create language copy button for assets. Observe that the option is missing from the menu by default as shown in image. User then attempted to use the OOTB workflow to create the language copy, and user encountered an error message (see below). What is somewhat ODD is that these failures do not show up in the folder "Workflow Failures" Assumption is that there is a permission based issue that is potentially causing this issue, but user has not been able to locate any incremental permission(s) that would logically result in t

by Christopher Davis and Kevin ScallyWhen reporting on Target activities, there are often times when a report’s content does not align with expectations. Sometimes this is simply because something isn’t as intuitive as it seems, other times it may occur because there is some troubleshooting to be done. This post compiles some of the “greatest hits” of FAQs & Troubleshooting on Activity Reporting with Target as the reporting source. Check out Part 2 and Part 3, where we cover these same ideas for when you are using A4T as your reporting source (Part 2) and also for when you are using a third-party analytics tool as your reporting source (Part 3)!Understanding Your Success Metrics Target reporting's most common reporting issues center around visitor or success metric counting. When using Target reporting, it is important to understand the success metric you have selected. A full breakdown of success metrics can be found here, but at a high-level, Target can track the
If you’re planning to migrate Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target to Edge Data Collection, you may be wondering how this impacts your Analytics for Target (A4T) integration. A4T provides valuable insights into Target activities with Analytics data without duplicating data collection efforts between services. Preserving this integration is critical to maintaining accurate reporting during your Web SDK migration. This blog covers key considerations of A4T with Web SDK, including the importance of migrating both libraries together, validation steps, expected reporting variances, and common pitfalls to avoid. Migrate Libraries Together With Web SDK, A4T stitching is handled automatically behind the scenes by Konductor, the orchestration layer in Edge Network. The big catch is that both systems (Analytics and Target) need to be running on Web SDK for A4T to function. This means AppMeasurement.js and at.js need to be migrated at the same time, at least on a page-by-page basis. While legacy libr
Introduction I've worked with hundreds of Adobe’s clients over the years and have analyzed just as many different data collection setups. One constant theme in my analysis is that every client has a unique way of deploying (what is essentially) the same data collection solution. If a client's solution is doing exactly what it is supposed to do, then I won't make much of an effort to “rock the boat” in terms of their implementation. However, I will intervene and try to provide guidance to those clients that either struggle to address their implementation pain points or would be open to making changes to help bring their already-solid implementation up a notch in quality. During these engagements, I bring as much detail and organization to my solutions as possible&nb
Short of it -- was able to edit the Planned Hours field, in a submitted Request's Details Overview section, for a Request not in New - pending status. As of this morning, I cannot. Unsure if this is affecting others. I have input a ticket. Long of it - I (sys admin, supposedly full rights) have been doing this successfully for years as the auto-duration puts in the full workday hours for that duration which is inaccurate for ALL of our Requests. We have multiple queues - some that are worked as requests and some that get converted to Projects once approved. To ensure we're not over allocating time to staff (users, roles or teams) it is critical that we are able to change this. In fact, I believe it has even been recommended to be by both prior consultant and within one or more of the many webinars I very gratefully attend. For the requests that will become Projects, I change the status to awaiting feedback - edit assignment, planned hours, and clean up custom fields as needed
We have repeatedly experienced a sync issue between the Proof module and the My Approvals widget. Proofs that have already been approved still show up in the widget as if they are awaiting a decision. Sometimes proofs that are awaiting a decision never appear. This is not a one‑off bug. Over the last 5 months, we've seen this happen at least 4‑5 times. It’s unpredictable and random, which makes it worse- we cannot reliably know whether the widget is telling the truth. To manage this, I have to manually review each proof listed in the widget, check against the actual proof status, and then open support cases when discrepancies are found. This wastes time that could be spent on productive work. More worryingly, this kind of inconsistency damages trust in Workfront. Senior management is a reluctant user already; each time the widget shows an incorrect state, it erodes his confidence in the system, making adoption and reliance less likely. If anyone has any workarounds or suggestions, I'd
Reading through older posts it seems like you used to be able to copy and paste a component from one page to another in Sites. I can copy a component but if I go to a different page, it doesn't give me the paste option. It only lets me paste it within the same page. Is there a way I can copy a component from one page to another? Thanks!
Hosted in partnership with Ewan Hruska @ewanhof Field Engineering and Brian Haight of Professional Services, this session walked through 5 different tips you can leverage for automating naming conventions using Workfront Fusion: Tip 1: Establish consistent, long-term naming schemes avoiding frequent changes across related objects. Tip 2: Use unique identifiers (project reference numbers or custom incremental numbers) in naming conventions. Tip 3: Drive naming conventions through request form fields like business unit and region dropdowns. Tip 4: Limit total project name length using Workfront validation rules to prevent character overflow. Tip 5: Balance human readability with AI discoverability by starting names with most useful identifiers. Watch the on-demand recording HERE, download a copy of the slide deck HERE, and check out the .zip file with the Fusion JSON files HERE. Fusion takes time and practice to learn, so if you're just getting started,
Does anyone know whatever happened to the Campaign Object beta from 2022? https://solutionpartners.adobe.com/solution-partners/news/2022/08/the-adobe-workfront-campaigns-beta---get-involved-.html Was that ever pushed live or was it put on hold? Any update is helpful.
We are currently evaluating migrating our AEM 6.5 implementation to the Cloud Service. However, we’ve encountered a few issues and would appreciate input from organizations that have gone through similar transitions: 1. AMS and Cloud Service - Tech Parity Adobe is recommending AMS, but it means additional operational and development costs. AMS has not received new features at the same pace as AEM Cloud. If our organization wants to adopt new features, especially at a global scale, AMS would not have tech parity. So, features may not be available for China. Has anyone faced this situation? How did your organization overcome these limitations? 2. Asset Share Commons and Content Hub User Limits Currently, we use Asset Share Commons (ASC) with no user limits. Migrating to Content Hub imposes a 250-user limit, which seems highly restrictive. For those who migrated from ASC to Content Hub, what other challenges did you face besides the user limit? Any advice on scaling Content

Configuration Options One of the questions that often comes up with the Media migrations to Edge is, “what are the configuration settings I need?” The unspoked part of that question is, “We used to have so many, and now you’re only giving us a datastream ID” Indeed, let’s talk about Edge vs non-Edge Media SDK implementations. In the non-Edge implementation, you had to add a few configuration parameters to the implementation itself: RSID (report suite ID) HB End point Analytics end point Org ID/publisher Channel, sdkVersion, playerName SSL flag AudienceManager and target settings, as applicable App Environment ID (if applicable) In the Edge implementation, the development team will only be concerned with: Datastream ID (aka Config ID) Edge End point (maybe; aka Domain Name) App Environment ID (if applicable) In an Edge implementation, all data, including Media data, is sent to one unified end point so you no longer need to provide a separate video/Heartbeat server.
