Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi Everyone! I have two separate questions, both related to the new Marketo builder. I’m working on setting up a theme for our brand styles, and I’ve run into two questions I’m hoping someone can help me with.Is there a way to set up an Adobe font in a Theme I created? Right now, in the “Text Settings” tab of the theme, it shows two dropdowns: “Font library” and “Font family”. Under “Font library”, I only see “Standard” and “Google Fonts”. Our font is Acumin Pro. Is there a way to add an Adobe font in the new builder/My Theme? The copy on our buttons is meant to be all caps. Instead of having to make sure it’s always physically typed as all caps, is there a way to do that under My Themes? Somewhere to maybe put text-transform CSS? It will make it much more foolproof to have it automatically capitalize everything within the button.Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

We’re implementing Knak as a pagebuilder for Marketo. The final pages will be synced and hosted on Marketo, but they are built on Knak. Knak allows you to load fonts via a CSS file with @font-face, but when trying to load those fonts we get a CORS error because it’s Knak’s domain trying to load the fonts.Is there any way to change CORS policy on Marketo to allow certain domains to load fonts? The pages will ultimately be hosted on our Marketo domain so it shouldn’t be an issue then, but we need to get them to show in the pagebuilder in the meantime.

Marketo-integrated page builders like Stensul & Knak publish your pages as Marketo LPs. Published LPs fully support webfonts hosted in Marketo Design Studio, since they’re on the same domain. But what about inside the builder app, when you’re still previewing? There, you’ll have a problem. Even with the correct @font-face rule in your CSS, the font won’t load because of CORS restrictions:❌ Access to font at 'https://pages.example.com/rs/123-ABC-456/images/entypo.woff' from origin 'https://app.stensul.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.This is reasonable, of course. Marketo isn’t in the business of providing an easily abused font CDN to the public! There’s a slick workaround. You can’t control CORS headers, but you can (by definition) host a page with same-origin access to the fonts. By deploying such a page as a hidden IFRAME, you can shuttle the fonts to a parent page, even if the parent is on a differ

My old Marketo instance was decommissioned and the redirects from that subdomain to my new one are no longer working. Can I point the old subdomain CNAME to my new instance and set that up as a second one in my new instance so I can create the redirects from old URLs to my new ones?

Hi Team,I wanted to check the feasibility of adding an email mirror/preview link/asset link from Marketo into our reporting in Tableau.Currently, we use Tableau for marketing reporting, with activity data pulled daily from Marketo via API into our data warehouse. This data is then used to report on tableau along with additional metrics such as opportunities generated, leads generated, and other KPIs based on our business logic.We now have a requirement to include a mirror link, preview link, or email asset link for the email so it can be reported alongside performance metrics in Tableau. The goal is to allow users to easily click the link and open the email to review its content. This would help us analyze top-performing emails over a given period and understand what contributed to their performance, so those learnings can be applied to future campaigns.Could you please advise if it’s feasible to extract and pass any of these email links from Marketo to our data warehouse via API and d

Hi Team,I wanted to check on two items related to our upcoming A/B testing plans in Adobe Marketo Engage:1. A/B Testing ApproachCurrently, we use a single Email Program for our batch and blast campaigns. Each campaign is a monthly series with 4 to 6 emails, and we have separate Smart Campaigns set up to send each email. At the moment, these are standard sends without A/B testing. Going forward, we would like to run A/B tests for each email in the series (for example, 4 or 6 A/B tests within the same campaign). From what I understand, the out-of-the-box A/B testing functionality within an Email Program allows only one A/B test per program. If we want to run multiple A/B tests, one option might be to use Smart Campaigns and manage the test and winner selection manually. Please let me know if my understanding is correct?  I also wanted to check if there have been any recent updates or enhancements that allow multiple A/B tests within a single Email Program using the native functionality,

I am working on a new template, and I have run into an issue. I want to create a 2x2 section in the template, but when I set the background image, it spans the whole page. I just want it behind the two columns, not the whole page. Here is what it looks like.I can't see a way to make the background image just behind the two columns. Stored as a hidden activity type? Stored in a system table not exposed via REST? Only accessible through the UI export? Available through Bulk API but not REST? Hi everyone, I’m looking for best practice guidance on setting up UTM capture properly in Marketo. Our current flow looks like:Paid ads → corporate website (UTMs present in query string) Corporate website has Munchkin and GA installed. Users then click through to a Marketo landing page that contains the inquiry form.  We do not currently use a CRM. We can see that UTMs sometimes appear in the Marketo landing page URL as query parameters, but we do not currently have hidden fields or structured UTM capture set up in the form. I’m trying to determine the cleanest and most scalable way to implement this.Our primary objective is to accurately attribute form submissions to paid campaigns and distinguish paid vs organic traffic for reporting.Some questions that I have:In a multi-domain setup, what is considered best practice for ensuring UTMs are reliably captured on form submission? I have several smart campaigns set up to run monthly and one-time sends that do a send, wait, resend. The email reports only reflect the FIRST send, NOT the resends. Does anyone know if there is a way to get one of the reports to accurately show the number of true sends?

Hi everyone,I’m trying to approve a Marketo Landing Page draft via the REST Asset API and I’m running into a strange issue.When I call:POST /rest/asset/v1/landingPage/{id}/approveDraft.jsonthe module returns [null] (and sometimes a DataError), and the landing page remains in status: "draft". There is no visible error message returned in the middleware I’m using. What makes this confusing is that other endpoints work perfectly in the same scenario. I can retrieve the landing page (GET /landingPage/{id}.json), confirm that a draft exists (GET ...?status=draft), and I can successfully call unapprove.json on the same landing page. Form approvals and other Asset API updates (like form visibility rules and picklist updates) also work without any issue.I’ve tested multiple variations of the approveDraft call, including different Content-Type headers (application/json and application/x-www-form-urlencoded), sending an empty body, and sending a dummy form-encoded parameter. Hi everyone, I'm trying to build a semi-automated email builder using the REST API to populate our emails. We use the Email 2.0 editor and templates. Hi Everyone,I am encountering an issue when creating a background images section using the new drag-and-drop Email Editor. If I use the Drag-and-Drop option, the background image is not visible in Outlook clients. However, if I create it using custom HTML, everything works fine, but I cannot change the background image externally; there is no variable or option in the window. I have to modify it directly within the custom HTML, which is quite difficult for a non-technical person.Do we have any workaround for this?

Hi everyone,I’m encountering an issue related to “Registered Error” statuses in a Marketo webinar program.For one of our webinars, we see about 60 members with the status Registered Error in the Program Members tab. Most of these records were originally marked as Registered but later moved to Registered Error after Salesforce created duplicate records and merged them. The total number of registrants coming from Marketo aligns correctly with Adobe Connect data.However, when I try to pull these same members using a Smart List with the filter Member of Program → Status: Registered Error, only a small portion of those records appear. Many of the individuals shown in the Program Members tab are missing from the Smart List results.We need to locate these members to update their status to No Show, since they did not attend the webinar.Has anyone experienced this behavior before, and were you able to find a solution or workaround?Thanks in advance for any insights!
