Hi, I have created some system wide statuses for issues in order to be visible in Team's setting for activating the 2 options "Work on it" and "Mark as done". The problem is that these statuses will be needed just for one group not for all, having them locked for all groups - that means they are visible for everybody and I cannot hide them. If I'm unlocking them in order to hide them for other groups, when I locked them again they overwrite the change made at group level.Please let me know if you encountered this situation and what will be the best resolution ?thanks,Bianca

Can I delete documents from a request queue and not lose them in their respective issues/requests. Or a related question: Do the documents I see listed in a request queue take up additional space on the server over and above the same documents residing in their respective issues/requests? How can I create an expense report that filters by Portfolio? Currently, both Expenses and Portfolio don't talk to each other. I've tried and thought about:1. Tried adding the portfolio filter manually via text mode - didn't work2. Thought about adding a custom field on a project level so I can filter via that. I don't think this would be a viable option as we have a ton of forms used across my team Any other ideas?

I stopped receiving WF notifications to my Slack on 6/27. I have cleared slack cache and app data. I also logged out and now I can't log back in.  

A year into our use of Workfront and we're looking at how we've set up Groups. We started with our own departments at the top level, but have had to add partner companies at that same level too.We do that when we need to differentiate teams within those companies, or give them different layout templates etc. I've checked a few other Q & A's but didn't find anything addressing this specifically. Should we, as it's early days, create a top level 'Company Name' entry for our company in Groups.We'd then have to move all our existing groups under that root item. Other companies would continue to have their own 'root' groups at this top level too. Hope that makes sense. Any thoughts welcome about whether it's worth doing now before we get too far down the line, and likely grow the number of third parties we deal with. Thanks 

Many of our custom forms use the same fields. When you attempt to delete a custom form, you get warning message that says, "Deleting this form causes all custom data on the objects associated with the form to also be deleted. The deleted data cannot be recovered." I'm unsure of the scope of "all custom data." Does this mean that any other custom form that happens to use the same fields as the deleted form will have all their historical data in those fields deleted as well? Or does it only affect the historical data of the field associated with that particular form? Hope that makes sense.

I have a Workfront report to track reports that haven't been viewed in the last 3 months, and one of the columns is "Dashboards" so that I can see if a particular report is included on a dashboard.  However, reports that are included on Canvas dashboards don't show any value in the "Dashboards" column.  (Reports included on standard, non-Canvas dashboards do show the correct info in the "dashboards" column.)   Has anyone else run into this problem and/or is there another field I should include to display the Canvas dashboard info?  Thanks! For example:Report Name           DashboardsReport A                   Dashboard X   (standard dashboard)Report B                  **blank**           (even though it is on Canvas Dashboard Y) 

Hi - I am working on cleaning up an inherited instance. We have quite a few dead projects with tasks that are not completed. This shows in my overdue task report.. does anyone have any tips to clean this up? The tasks will remain open because the projects are dead and will not be picked back up.

Hi, Wondering if anyone out there has experience with cleaning up custom fields in an inherited instance. With thousands of fields and not much background on why any of them were created to begin with, it can be a bit of a hill to climb. I've started with the obvious, like fields not associated with forms, fields missing descriptions, duplicative fields, fields starting with or containing special characters, names/labels that read like run-on sentences. What other "flags" have caught your attention? What methods have you used for sorting through and organizing the data? What challenges or problems did you face and how did you overcome them? Hello, Reaching out here for help on a report.We have a task approval which has 1 stage assigned to Project owner role (wildcard) by default. When users send it for approval, they edit the approval path and add the user name in approval and remove the Project Owner name from there.We want to build a report of all such tasks where the approval was triggered but the user did not remove Project Owner from the approval.In the screenshot below, I want the report to only show the 3 tasks. Can anyone suggest on how this can be done?

Hi all!I feel like I'm missing something simple here, but I can't figure out what.I want to create a chart on a task report that shows how many days the tasks were open.  I don't want duration.  I want the work day difference between the planned start date and the actual completion date ("days open").I was able to use text mode and valueexpression to create a column that shows this "days open" calculation.  My struggle now is I can't get it to show up in the drop downs on the chart to select it as a grouping.I even created a text mode grouping to group by "days open".Any ideas?  Or is what I'm trying to do not possible?Thank you!

How to change the categoryOrder of Object Category by using custom API? I'm getting error when I configured API module

Hi folks, have a bit of an odd one here and really hoping there's a way to achieve this, whether through Fusion or otherwise. Here's the scenario: - I'll have an issue in a project- Sometimes the issue will relate to multiple other projects in the same program- I need a dynamically-populated multi-select dropdown in the issue custom form of the project pulling in all active projects in the program the issue's project is in. So if I have issue 1 in program A, I need to be able to select any other active project within program A in this program (so the other active project names need to populate in this multi-select dropdown). Same for issue 2 in a separate program B (all in same portfolio though), and so on. I know this isn't natively possible in custom forms, but is there any way with Fusion and/or a lookup field? There would only be up to probably 20 other projects in the program at any time that it would need to pull into a dropdown in the issue custom form, we're not talking 50+.- C
