Description - Proof Deadline Date should not be blanked out on the most recently activated stage when the "Workfront stage" is added to the Workflow

Why is this feature important to you - Reviewers are not seeing these proofs appear on their report and are missing proof deadlines.

How would you like the feature to work - When a "Workfront stage" is added, it should not change/blank out a Proof Deadline Date in the recently activated stage.  The Proof Deadline Date should retain.

Current Behaviour -Proof Deadline Date is blanked out on the most recently activated stage when the "Workfront stage" is added to the Workflow

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The underlying issue causing this behavior stems from the automatic addition of Workfront stages to grant access to other users, which is a technical requirement of the current Proof workflows. With the upcoming unified review and approval experience we are developing, this limitation will be resolved, allowing for accurate reporting on outstanding approvals.

Is this resolved @caroossmann ?

@caroossmann Could you please update the status of this? It's also causing my team confusion.

Thanks-

The underlying issue causing this behavior stems from the automatic addition of Workfront stages to grant access to other users, which is a technical requirement of the current Proof workflows. That said, we won't be able to resolve this issue for proof reporting.

We’re moving this feature request to 'Investigating' since the solution design process for multi-stage workflows for unified approvals is now underway.

In Unified Approvals, each stage additional stage a set number of days from when that stage opens until it is due. For example, on the first stage you will set a due date of January 1st, on the 2nd stage you will set a number of days until it’s due, so if you give Approvers 2 days on that stage then it will be due on January 3rd. If the first stage goes beyond it’s due date and isn’t approved until January 2nd, then the 2nd stage will not be due until January 4th (because they still get 2 days to complete the stage).

Hi! I have been working with Support and they are saying it’s a known issue where if someone not on the proof, views the proof, the system creates a New Stage with No Deadline Due. This overrides the previous Deadline Due in Reporting.

When is this scheduled to be fixed? Happy to provide you Support Case Ticket # if that helps. Thank you!
