Adobe Workfront

Ji, I have a single line text field on a custom form on a task. This field is for users to input a live url link to an article once it has been published in AEM. In the Task Details the link is clickable and will go to the article. This field is referenced in a card on a board as well. The same exact field on the board is NOT a clickable link. Is there anyway to make it clickable on the card? I will add screenshots for reference. Thanks! Robin  

Is it possible to reference a task's collection in a project report? Yes I know that I can just make a task report for this but I would like to get to know the syntax and what the limitations are before creating a whole new report.

Is there a setting that I can change to allow a user / users to edit the order of a custom form on a project while in a pending approval status?

I've looked through the posts here, but don't seem to be finding anything that's working so far. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction since I'm not a Workfront expert.NEED: To be able to measure the time spent in a specific status on an Issue DONE SO FAR:- I created a 'timestamp' field that captures when the status is changed to the one I need (NFU). Here is the expression I used, which seems to correctly put the Date/Time in the field once an Issue changes to that status:IF({status}='NFU',IF(ISBLANK({DE:Status Timestamp Assignments Requested}),$$NOW,{DE:Status Timestamp Assignments Requested}),{DE:Status Timestamp Assignments Requested}) CAN'T FIGURE OUT:- Now I need a calculated field that shows the amount of time elapsed since the timestamp above and 'now' to show how long the issue has been in that specific status. I'm not sure where to start on this, so any suggestions would be great! Update: I tried this expression but it's returning "0"...the format

Is it possible to assign subtasks via Workfront Fusion. I want the subtasks to be assigned to the Task assignee. 

I have a specific queue topic that routes to a board.  The connected card pulls in the description field, but not the priority field.  Does anyone know if this is possible through out-of-the-box functionality? Thank you in advance,Melanie 

Can anyone help me with understanding how to sort the values that display in a Workfront chart, specifically a bar chart. I have a chart that shows record count for projects on y-axis with Sponsor name as the x-axis (see image). Would like to show it in descending order of record count. Thanks, Michael

The WUG Colorado Chapter kicked off its first session on Aug. 27, 2025.  Thank you to everyone that attended and registered for the event.  Attached is the deck materials we covered including the links and polls we went through.  We will communicate our next event shortly and based on some topic discussion it may be focused on Fusion (How can it help?  How can I learn?) and possibly some advanced reporting (textmode) thoughts.  If any of you have ideas for things to cover in the next event or may you have a use case you'd like to share to get insights and input from the collective...either way...reply here with those ideas so all can consider.

Creating a very simple Project report to show dates at project level and weekday difference between them. Two dates listed for the project are custom form dates - PredicationStart and PredicationEnd. But, my attempt to show the weekday difference is turning futile. Hi,One of our team is constantly overloaded with work due to short turnaround times. They need a minimum of 6 weeks to turn around the job. The team has requested to prevent any requests coming to them if it has less than 6 weeks. Is this possible with Workfront?

We have a Request Queue with a custom form attached that the user must complete certain fields.   Of the fields there are 4 that are either a drop down selection or typeahead.   The web version works with no issue.   All fields function properly and the user can save his/her work as a draft or submit the request. If the user chooses to use the mobile app to complete the request and either save or submit, the drop down fields and typeahead fields do not save and in some instances will not let the user submit because if thinks one of the fields is not complete (because all four of these fields are required).    The user (and I was able to duplicate) will complete the request on the mobile devise, but when looking at the Draft Requests on the web version, all of the data is complete except these four fields that are either drop down or typeahead. I went down the path that maybe these fields were not shared properly.   I open

We continually experience 'proof sync' issues whereby proofs have been approved, but the user's widget is not updated. This is creating huge user dissatisfaction at our senior leadership level. We've been told this is a 'known issue' which is over a year old:This problem is a known issue, that our product team is aware of. This is being addressed in an overall reworking of the proof system. This will be part of a future release and is too complicated a fix to attempt to correct in a bug. We're told to 'self monitor' and open a ticket for each case. We are now at minimum of 3 instances since we started tracking.Is anyone else having this constant issue? Adobe: What is the target fix date?  We've been told for months that 'new and enhanced' proofing is coming. WHERE IS IT?

I am working on a formula field in Workfront Planning. I have a connected field for {Deliverable Type} that houses a list of deliverables in a separate record type in Planning. When a certain {Deliverable Type} is selected from the available list and a Qty is input in another column I want the formula field to tell me the resource hours needed to complete that amount of deliverables. The formula I'm using is:IF({Deliverable Type}="Video", CONCAT("Video Producer: ", {Qty} * 15, " hrs; Video Editor: ", {Qty} * 10, " hrs"), "") Workfront Planning is recognizing this as a valid formula but it's not returning anything after I click save. What does work is if I were to switch {Deliverable Type} to a free text field and type in Video. Any thoughts on how to solution for this? Does Workfront Planning even support this sort of formula?

I'm exporting projects from Smartsheet via Project XML, to import to Workfront.   It worked fine for the first project, but keeps erroring out on the second one. "There was a problem.We're not sure why, but we weren't able to read the file you uploaded. Importing it again might do the trick."Re-importing has the same result - an empty project. Is there some particular format or column sets projects should have before export?

Is Workfront FEDramp or TXramp certified yet? The last time I looked into a few years ago it was not. If not, will it ever be?

How can I upload a document link from a software like sharepoint? Is this exact functionality possible within Fusion using the API?  

First a client expressed this desire, then a community member asked about something similar so I wanted to see how/if this works.  And it does!   Set up the template I wanted to create a project overview page, so I just started with the fields I wanted to display on the page. Not an actual Word template but simply a docx file with placeholders for data.    Open up MSWord (or an editor that writes docx files) and let's get started. Note the field names don't have to be related to the actual Workfront field - you set the template placeholder name and map it to the value you want to display (more on that later). For now, We Just write out what we want to see, and format it accordingly. Each placeholder is wrapped with double-curly braces. Example:   In some cases, we don't want to have extra space or a label on the page if we don't have a value. We can use a rudimentary IF tag. you determine the tag name, and the start gets a pound sign, the end gets a slash

Hi, I'm trying to create a report that shows a list of projects where both of these conditions are true (using fake ID numbers for the sake of this example):The status of template task ID AAAAA12345 is not Rejected.The status of template task ID 54321ZZZZZ is not Rejected.I know how to filter for each of these in a task report using the standard filter mode, but I only want to see the project name and not the tasks themselves. I suspect this requires using text mode for the filter within a project report, but I'm newer to text mode and I'm having a hard time figuring it out. How can I create this report?
