Interest Check: Creating an Adobe Workfront User Group for Europe

Hi everyone,

I wanted to bring up an idea and see if there is interest from the European Workfront community.

I’ve noticed that we currently don’t have a dedicated Workfront User Group chapter focused on Europe. I think there could be a great opportunity to create a European chapter - even starting as a virtual group - where Workfront users, admins, and practitioners can connect, exchange ideas, share best practices, discuss challenges, and learn from each other. 🙂

Would anyone here be interested in joining or helping shape a Europe-focused Workfront User Group?

I’d be happy to help organize, coordinate, and support getting this started if there is enough interest. It would be great to bring together people from different countries and organizations to share experiences and build a stronger Workfront community across Europe! 😎

If this sounds interesting, let me know in the comments - would love to hear your thoughts!

This is a great idea. Julie Wilson at Adobe can help you get this setup. She has worked on getting the Workfront User Groups in the US stood up. This is her email address juwilson@adobe.com . Best to you!

Hi @ninoskuflic,

I had the same idea at the beginning of year and also had a discussion with Julie Wilson. The main requirement/problem is that the Workfront User Group has to be co-lead by a customer or a second partner to avoid being a marketing event by a single partner.

I’m happy to join forces with you on this topic.

Thanks

Patrick

Hi @ninoskuflic . Thank you so much for posting this for WUG awareness! I am the Adobe Program Manager for the Workfront User Group program (affectionately known as WUG). If you have any qualified customers that would like to apply to be a co-leader for a new chapter in EMEA, please send them my way: juwilson@adobe.com. Qualifications are listed below.

In the meantime, we do have a couple global, virtual chapters that EMEA folks can attend for learning and sharing best practices:

WUG Chapter Co-Leader Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Current Adobe Workfront customer
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on, practitioner experience with Adobe Workfront
  • Experience as a System Admin or Group Admin or Power User/Project Manager
  • Reside in the location of the User Group chapter

Bonus points

  • Experience with Workfront Fusion and/or Workfront Planning
  • Experience with Workfront integrations with other Adobe apps (e.g. AEM Assets)
  • At least 1 Workfront certification preferred

Thank you!
