Adobe Marketo Engage

I’m aware that the Marketo SOAP API is due to be deprecated on January 31st, but I’ve noticed in this release notes article that it says March 31st. That date hasn’t been updated anywhere else (as it was when the date changed from October to January) so does anyone know if that’s a mistake in the release notes or whether the date has actually changed?

Has anyone come up with a good solution for avoiding list overlap across somewhat siloed business units?, and how to identify those before email sends go out? Standard deliverability reports will only show what has already been sent/delivered etc.  I'm trying to understand who will get caught in comms limits (ie - 2 per day / 5 per week) before it actually happens. Appreciate feedback. I have a form in which I am collecting first name, last name, and email address. I have a trigger campaign that syncs with our CRM. I have a second trigger campaign that sends an email after a 5 minute wait. Is this OK or should I combine these two trigger campaigns?

Hi everyone, sorry I could not find an answer to this. We are using embedded Marketo forms in our website that runs on Wordpress. When I send emails to known people, I want them to click a link and get to the asset in our web site (i.e., not to a standalone PDF), I want them to land on an asset landing page but not see the form. How can I achieve that? I understand that my web team needs to suppress it on the web server side - is that right? (Ideally, I would love to be able to avoid modifying the URLs in emails to indicate that the click comes from a Marketo-sent email - I found some recommendation for that approach but I'd prefer to not have to do that if possible). Thank you!

 I need to create a program in a manner for 10000 contacts. We can say: send to 30% on day 1, 30% on day 2 and the remaining 40% on the last day. I'm wondering why there is a discrepancy in the activity log and what could be causing it. In 2 customers activity logs, it shows that they opened an email from a nurture. But theres nothing in the activity log showing that the email was sent. Any reasons why this is happening?

Hello all,A field in our Salesforce is synchronized through a Connector with a field in the Marketo. That field in Salesforce is a text field but we want to change it to a picklist. I know that Marketo deletes the data in the fields if they don’t match. So just to be on the safe side we will export it and re-import it after we change the field type.1. How could this change affect the Marketo field and other things using that field?2. I've read somewhere that typically, Salesforce picklist values will synchronize as text values in Marketo - is this correct?

Hey guys, I was hoping you could help clarify. Our Salesforce admin noticed some activity in Salesforce indicating that the Marketo integration user has been deleting records. While we don’t have any campaigns in Marketo that perform deletions directly in Salesforce, the team is considering removing the integration user’s delete permissions to help isolate the issue. Before making that change, I wanted to understand if there could be any unintended consequences. Since Marketo does handle lead merges, and merges in Salesforce are treated as deletions of the losing record, I’m concerned that restricting delete access might cause sync errors or disrupt merge operations between the two systems. Could you shed some light on the potential impact of removing that permission?

When our Adobe leadership first encouraged us to use AI in our work, I was hesitant. I’m no Luddite – point me at any new gadget or a cool app that I can use in my job to make things easier, faster or just more interesting! So, it wasn’t a “resistance to change” thing. Hi,I have a test program created in the year 2018.Today Imported program members via bulk API with program member status as "Member"  and set program member values.API returns status "Queued" and import completed without errorsI do not see any program member when I clicked on program "Members" tab in Marketo UI.ironically, I saw all emails when I exported program members data.Program type is default, channel is emailI can see program members in Marketo UI if I import emails via .csv file manually.Can you please help me to understand what's going wrong Thanks,Babu

Hi everyone,I'm integrating external database lists into Marketo, and part of the business requirement is to create new static lists in Marketo automatically from that external source.The database API requires passing a folder ID or program ID where the lists should be created. However, in the Database section of Marketo, there are only folders and lists, no programs. Also, folders in the Database don’t display any ID in the UI.How can I find the correct folder ID to use in the API request, so the integration knows where to create these new lists within the desired folder in the Database section?Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,We have 2 websites on separate domains, that we want track with a single Marketo instance. Site 1Munchkin tracking codeMarketo forms Site 2Munchkin tracking codeSalesforce commerce forms Our plan is to submit the munchkin tracking ID along with the Salesforce form, which will then be used in a Push Lead API call  to associate the visitor activity with the lead after it is synced to Marketo. However, if a lead first fills out a standard Marketo form on Site 1, and then fills out the form on Site 2 (triggering the process above), what will happen? Will the lead become associated with the munchkin ID of Site 2 only, and Site 1 activity will no longer be tracked? Or does Marketo maintain the association of multiple tracking IDs? Thanks,
