I have setup my smart campaign (cloned off another that was successful and using the same client data to send the emails) , imported client list, set trigger etc, selected Activate and there are no results showing, indicating nothing is going out.   can someone assist me through the process to see what i have missed here??

Could you show us your Smart Campaign (Smart List and Flow) and a person that you think should have run through that Campaign but hasn’t?

Hi @DebPhillips

We recently had a similar issue on our side where if we cloned a program, activated the smart campaign (with trigger) then imported a list to activate the trigger is sometimes wouldn’t fire.   Working with Adobe support we discovered that there is a short lag when you activate the trigger for the system to see it. If you import a list right away there is a small chance the server will would miss the list import action and not fire the trigger. This gets especially noticeable if you have a large number of active triggers (we have somewhere like 9k right now...and yes i know this is not great🤣 )

The temporary solution that seems to be working for us was after activating the smart campaign we needed to wait 1 minute before importing the list. That gives the server enough time to recognize the trigger

The long term solution that is re-working the smart campaign to run as a batch instead of a using trigger.

To add on to this suggestion, if everyone in your list should be processed by the trigger, it may actually be better to use the batch instead. What is the specific reasoning for using this as a trigger instead of a batch in a case like that?
