I'm standing up a new database and migrating a site from database A to database B in AEM There are some architecture changes in the site, and I want to redirect as many dead pages in database A to substitute pages in database B for the first couple of months that database B is live. Is there a limit in AEM to the number of redirects that can be in place at any one time? Many thanks for any information you can share.

@MarkECis I think having to redirect can also risk the server's performance. I could dig public docs and found that the default limit for redirects at the browser level is 20.
"Google Chrome has a maximum redirect limit of 20, which cannot be changed."

Seems this query is specific to AEM sites/pages, so suggest that you post your query here[0] for expert advice on this request.
Thank you for your response. We are about to launch a new version of our website, and it will be carried on a different AEM database than the one we are using now. A number of the pages that are on the current database will not be migrating to the new database, and we need to redirect those pages. We also have many years of redirects, I can't even tell how many, giving us over 3500 redirects already. I just want to be sure we don't somehow run into a limit of redirects that can be live. I know having that many redirects is problematic on many levels, but they will only be active for a couple of months and then they will be deleted. I hope that makes sense, and I appreciate your chiming in.
