Adding a Seed List To An Email Delivery in ACS

With Adobe Campaign Classic we had the ability to add a seed list in the email delivery so that all individuals within that list would receive a copy of the email to their inboxes. Where in Adobe Campaign Standard does this same functionality exist? We need our client to be able to receive the email as a seed at the time the delivery deploys to the target audience.

Hi @michelek4711021,

 

You have test profiles in ACS to use as seed and when you create the delivery you have option to add this test profiles. Also you can extend the test profile fields incase if you want to.

Would this be adding a test profile as a "trap"? I want the test profile to receive the email at the same time the target audience does (in the same execution).

Yes, you will be receiving it same time as the target audience receives.

Thanks. Quick question - any reason why the terminology for seeds changed between Adobe Campaign Classic and Adobe Campaign Standard? I've gone through both training paths for Business Practitioner and notice terminology is not synched (this is just one example) between the two versions.

You are correct. There are certain things they changed terminology like schemas as custom resources etc. But their core system tables referred in the same way as classic. I think this is just part of their terminology standardization like they do on other solutions of Adobe experience cloud.

You have to define a test profileprofile of type trap for that. If it's multiple users, you can create an audience of test users.

Hi @SatheeskannaK  Is this the same case for Transactional messages in ACS. Can we use Test profile as kind of CC feature in email to make sure the customer is receiving the email?

To be more clear on my question, we have a case where business wants to send the customer an immediate offer through the customer service center when there are issues. In this case while Customer is in call with Customer service team, they will be receiving an offer with the help of triggered events. So here customer service team also wants to receive the same email (CarbonCopy) for the confirmation. Can we leverage the test profiles option here.
