Hello
is it possible to track with Adobe Analytics as easily as with Google Analytics?
https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/
Does that go in Adobe Analytics?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I cannot share with you our internal campaign structure since that is confidential, but here an example.
The Meta1--Meta9 fields refer to campaign metadata fields that you want to track systematically (like type of channel, type of campaign,...)
Kind regards,
Sarah
Hi,
Yes, it is possible to track campaigns in a similar way in Adobe Analytics. In our company we do it like that as well.
However Adobe does not offer - to my knowledge - a campaign builder tool (like Google). But you can easily set this up yourself in Excel.
Kind regards,
Sarah

We use UTM codes to track campaigns. Since we use UTM codes, we can use Google's URL builder. We have set up our classification rules to recognize the 5 primary UTM types such as umm_source, etc.
@saraht thank you for the answer.
Very interesting method to adjust the tracking.
How did you do that? In what file?

see this forum questions and look for link to "utm" blog post: USING UTM CAMPAIGN PARAMETERS & CID IN ADOBE ANALYTICS
@vitalin58577727 Yes...there's an Adobe UTM Builder but not made by Adobe. We use the Adobe Analytics UTM Builder (Adobe Analytics UTM Campaign URL Builder | UTM Smart Manager ) to take care of all of it for us. It creates the links with the classifications / parameters we want (source, medium, evars, etc) and then we are able to analyze our data correctly. It's a huge time saver and helped us with our data integrity. The best piece of this UTM builder was that we custom-branded it for our company and now we share it across all our agencies and marketing teams as if it were our own.
Hope this helps
Here's a publicly available Adobe UTM Builder that can help you. It requires that you set your s.campaign variable to cid and use the : separator: Adobe UTM Form Manager. I’d recommend signing up for an account quickly (instead of using the public "freemium" version to customize your form options, track who builds the links users, custom-brand the form, and have the company take care of all the needed configurations when it comes to tracking your UTMs in Adobe. Pretty quick and incredibly useful.
Can someone share how exactly to set up CID codes in Adobe Analytics? I thought this required Adobe Launch to do. No? Can you successfully set up tracking codes solely with Adobe Analytics? If so, how?
Thanks.

Another very flexible solution can be found at https://edcampaign.io.
They provide a free campaign url builder for Adobe based on a clean campaign template.
You may also want to check out their other options which offer more pro features like multiple campaign templates, workflow support, automatic upload of campaign data and integrated spreadsheet support.
