Hi there,We are trying to set up a calculated metric representing a target KPI which is different for each month of the year, and used the IF-condition (see screenshot). We notice that it only works for past/current month(s) but not for future months since the # of visits = 0 there (see screenshot).Does someone has an idea about how to set this up?Thanks in advance,Sarah

Hi,I cannot share with you our internal campaign structure since that is confidential, but here an example. The Meta1--Meta9 fields refer to campaign metadata fields that you want to track systematically (like type of channel, type of campaign,...)Kind regards,Sarah

Hi,Yes, it is possible to track campaigns in a similar way in Adobe Analytics. In our company we do it like that as well. However Adobe does not offer - to my knowledge - a campaign builder tool (like Google). But you can easily set this up yourself in Excel.Kind regards,Sarah

Hi,In the Adobe Help documentation I found the following formula for Time Spent per Visit : Total seconds spent / (visit-bounces)It is thus possible to recalculate it based on the other metrics. This is what I exactly did.In the next table you can see the Adobe version of the variable at the left and my own calculated metric at the right. The results are different. Here the calculated metric:Can someone explain me why the results are different? Is this a bug? Thanks in advance for your feedback!Ki...

Hi Laetizia,Not the time for the custom links is calculated but the time for the selected pages taking into account the custom links that follow.Remember: Total Seconds Spent can only be calculated between 2 server calls, for example:Page A --> Page BPage A --> Download linkPage B --> Exit link...That's the reason why you see custom links appearing when dragging them beneath a page. It just proves that Total Seconds Spent is also calculated in case a page is followed by a custom link instead of ...

Hi Alexis,I read in this post that props can be associated with success events that occur later, and will be attributed according to the linear allocation principal. However when reading the Adobe Help Comparing Props and eVars I readeVars can use success events as metrics. Props cannot. eVars are designed to report on conversion events, to show you which values are most successful in influencing visitors to reach your goals. Traffic variables (props) do not have this same functionality. However...

Hi Arun,Thanks for your reply. With your first sentence I understand that the Hit segment selects only the pageviews of those 6 pages and not next hits like custom links, download links, exit links,.. which means not all time spents are calculated. Correct? However don't understand your second sentence. I should remove Custom, Download, Exit links from the segment you say... but in the first sentence you said they were already excluded from the HIT segment. My goal: to visualize the total seconds...

Hi,I just selected 6 pages from the page dimension for which I visualized the Time Spent per Visit (for a period in the past) = screenshot below. The aggregated figure on the top row (463) is the sum of the time spent per visit figures of all 6 pages. To my understanding, this aggregated figure does not represent anymore 'Time Spent per Visit' over these 6 pages. Reason: Visitors who visited Page002 also visited Page001 (because this is a sequential process). The Time Spent per Visit should thus...

The idea can be ignored. Instead of creating calculated metrics and putting it left, I should have dragged the (underlying) segments over there, and the metric unique visitors at the top. In that case the Percent Change can be calculated, and I have my desired result.

Hi,Currently the metric for which you want to compare multiple time periods and create the Percent Change metric needs to be in the column header (cfr next screenshot). As a consequence you'll need to recreate multiple Percent Change metrics.I would like to be able to add just one column 'Percent Change' in the next table:This would save us a lot of time. Thanks in advance,Sarah

Hi,This is definitely an interesting idea. At our company (insurance banking) we got more and more questions related to the time between events, which we now have to calculate each time based on datafeed extracts in our own data lake. It would be great to have this - very soon - on the fly in Adobe Analytics for the end user as well.@admoseremic: Is this already put on the product roadmap, and if so when will it come available?Kind regards,Sarah

Hi,Currently it is not possible to create a segment to select all impressions for a certain Target Activity. Reason: The Activity Impressions metric cannot be used in the segment builder.Consequence: you select all visits/pages of a visitor who was in a certain activity, which is not the same as selecting only the impressions of a an activity. Use case example: on the homepage we have 2 activities, one for prospects and one for customers. When the homepage is loaded, either a visitor is recogniz...

@Bgeorge, I do see value in adding this feature. Here the usecase:You want to see the distribution of #pageviews for page X. Applying a segment (which selects page equals X) on the top of the table would not reflect the distribution of #pageviews for page X.What does it reflect? Eg Segment 2: In fact this number is the number of visitors with 2 pageviews from which page X was (at least) one. So, it is not that the 2 pageviews apply necessarily both to page X.Why am I certain about this1) The seg...
