How to set up future kpi's by use of calculated metric? - Adobe Analytics 17-06-2019
Hi there,We are trying to set up a calculated metric representing a target KPI which is different for each month of the year, and used the IF-condition (see screenshot). We notice that it only works for past/current month(s) but not for future months since the # of visits = 0 there (see screenshot).Does someone has an idea about how to set this up?Thanks in advance,Sarah

Re: Campaign URL Builder with Adobe Analytics? - Adobe Analytics 28-08-2018
Hi,I cannot share with you our internal campaign structure since that is confidential, but here an example. The Meta1--Meta9 fields refer to campaign metadata fields that you want to track systematically (like type of channel, type of campaign,...)Kind regards,Sarah

Re: Visit, Visitor or Hit? - Adobe Analytics 28-08-2018
Hi,Try changing the outer container (at the very top) to visitor level. Reason: Both hits occured in different months, so not at the same hit and neither during the same visit. Hope that helped.Kind regards,Sarah

Re: Campaign URL Builder with Adobe Analytics? - Adobe Analytics 28-08-2018
Hi,Yes, it is possible to track campaigns in a similar way in Adobe Analytics. In our company we do it like that as well. However Adobe does not offer - to my knowledge - a campaign builder tool (like Google). But you can easily set this up yourself in Excel.Kind regards,Sarah

Re: Time Spent per Visit: recalculation based on same formula gives different result - Adobe Analytics 24-08-2018
Hi Kaushalendra,I just checked this, but it returned exactly the same figures for both metrics (and thus the discrepancy is not only related to Analysis Workspace).I will reach out to Customer Care to have an answer. Thanks,Sarah

Time Spent per Visit: recalculation based on same formula gives different result - Adobe Analytics 23-08-2018
Hi,In the Adobe Help documentation I found the following formula for Time Spent per Visit : Total seconds spent / (visit-bounces)It is thus possible to recalculate it based on the other metrics. This is what I exactly did.In the next table you can see the Adobe version of the variable at the left and my own calculated metric at the right. The results are different. Here the calculated metric:Can someone explain me why the results are different? Is this a bug? Thanks in advance for your feedback!Ki...

Re: Total Seconds Spent return different results for same pages - Adobe Analytics 23-08-2018
Hi Laetizia,Not the time for the custom links is calculated but the time for the selected pages taking into account the custom links that follow.Remember: Total Seconds Spent can only be calculated between 2 server calls, for example:Page A --> Page BPage A --> Download linkPage B --> Exit link...That's the reason why you see custom links appearing when dragging them beneath a page. It just proves that Total Seconds Spent is also calculated in case a page is followed by a custom link instead of ...

Re: Total Seconds Spent return different results for same pages - Adobe Analytics 22-08-2018
Hi Arun,Thanks for the screenshots. That's clear to me now.Can you also tell me how we should build the segment in order to have the total seconds spent correctly calculated? (so taken into account those next hits like custom/exit/.. links). Kind regards,Sarah

Re: Props and eVar - Adobe Analytics 22-08-2018
Hi Alexis,I read in this post that props can be associated with success events that occur later, and will be attributed according to the linear allocation principal. However when reading the Adobe Help Comparing Props and eVars I readeVars can use success events as metrics. Props cannot. eVars are designed to report on conversion events, to show you which values are most successful in influencing visitors to reach your goals. Traffic variables (props) do not have this same functionality. However...
