Hi community! I have a node on CRX with rep:policy deny jcr:write to everyone, I have modified permission programatically because I need to activate / deactivate permissions according to  property, but users on administrators group can modify node. Why?? Any suggestion?  I am working with AEM 6.5  Thanks.

I have an existing lead field that contains the value for a specific month, presented as YYYY-MM. From this, I want to set up a script token that only returns the value for the month, irrespective of which year is indicated. I have the section of script to translate the MM value into "January", but I am struggling to strip the year indicator from the original value. I looked into substring and truncate options, but have not found a working solution.   Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hi there,   I'm currently using below token to get links in my email with modified date "2020-11-09". In the implementation guide, the product variable is complex. Is this the case with Launch? For tracking product views, sku#s, price, etc. should these all be different props/evars? or one product variable? Please help me understand the best practice for this use case. Thanks.

If I make a successful integration between AEM and Adobe Asset Link, then will I be able to use photoshop, illustrator and inDesign (consider I have access to all of it)?OR,Do I need to make seperate integrations between AEM and InDesign, AEM and Illustrator and so on?

Is there a resource for marketers on the best practices for form hidden fields?   I am the marketo lead at a growing company (just raised series D) and want to start collecting more attribution information as our marketing campaigns grow more robust.    We currently capture the basic information via hidden fields: utm_source utm_medium utm_term utm_name (campaign name NEW) contact us original referral URL (NEW)     But now are building out new non marketo web landing pages and are running various google display and search campaigns, all with marketo forms. There's lots of varied information out there in different forums, so hoping for a reference guide or two for the fields we should be capturing, as well as an understanding of how the cookie hidden field operates.    Like I said, we're a growing company so we're a small team, but we do have a developer and digital marketing lead who I can lean on for deeper understanding. A key area we are looking to get ahead on is "best practices" for multiple Languages. I'm reviewing the Translating Content for Multiple Languages documentation ( https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/administering/introduction/translation.html )  But I can't seem to find a strategy associated with React components used within a page.  I've put what we're doing today below, but anyone have guidance on how best to approach this?  Current practice : - Create React components with authorable fields - So that we can create a secondary page for the additional language - And the component is then Authored in that language Eg : English Page - Component : fields Authored in english Spanish Page - Component : fields Authored to be Spanish   ..

Due to security and cross domain concerns, the AEM component has to call third party API using server side request.So, client side "http get" to AEM sever, AEM server make request post to the third part API, once server side request successfully, it would pass the data back to client. Do we have any examples about this either Java or Server side JavaScript would be helpful, thanks.

Hi  Devs, we can able to reuse only the dialog fields using 'resourceType "granite/ui/components/foundation/include" ' method. But can we reuse the authored values of one component to other reused components, so we don't need to do authoring for all similar reused components multiple times. Is there any solution for this in AEM 6.5?  Thanks.

Hi Experts, We have a use case to send the absolute or full URL's for localized assets/links configured from AEM in fragments. This is being consumed by another non aem application by making model json API call. The content fragments authored with links have relative URL's in JSON. Is there a way to achieve this without code changes at present in AEM 6.4.x version? If not, could you please let us know how we can achieve or go about this request? Edit: This query is not related to custom components created using sling models or at component level. It's Absolute url for all assets and content links to be available for all content fragments created using a content model.  Thanks.

Hello, we are trying to implement the screens with AEM, so we want to enable network traffic through firewall. will screens be continuously polling the content from AEM instance being an initiator and request and fetch the content? will AEM initiate any request to the screens player directly?so the flow will bescreens player --> dispatcher --> AEM. can someone help me with my undersatanding.

Hi, I am using Eclipse AEM plugin to push changes from my Eclipse IDE to local AEM server. When I create a node in IDE, I am able synchronize and see changes immediately reflect in AEM authoring interface. However if I created a new page, new component or new template using AEM GUI(or CRXDe), how do I pull the changes from the local AEM server so that latest changes reflect in my IDE? I tried the "Import from server" option from the plugin, it didn't work somehow(syncing the wrong dir maybe), can someone please shed some light on this? Thanks in advance.  

I am working through this tutorial, trying to get SAML SSO to work.I am using Azure AD as the identity provider, and I have a local instance of AEM 6.4 running on my machine. Any sample how to add Text Muti RTE Plugin for Special Characters in Content Fragment Model

We have a lot of leads on our database that are not active or not assigned to any mailing list. Our company has multiple brands under it and we would like to know what brand these leads belong to.    I have tried checking the "Person Source" field, and a lot of them have been imported through List Imports.  1) Is it possible to determine who made those list imports? (If we get to know who made them, possibly through the Audit Trail functionality), it might be possible to assign them to one of the brands under our company.   I have also found the "Aquisition Program Name" field to be useful. But even then all the leads don't have that field filled out. 2) Any suggestions on other fields I can look into which might hold some clue as to how these leads were imported (or what brands these leads may belong to) ?

I want to reuse the dialog field from one of the existing component in another component in AEM 6.2 Touch UI.I know it can be done in Classic UI using xtype=cq:include. Is there a way to solve this problem in Touch UI?TIA

Hello,  I wanted to see if anyone is aware of any sort of URL parameter that can be added to a link in AEM 6.5 author that forces loads the page in Preview mode.  There used to be similar ones in 5.x but I can't find anything for 6.5.  We are looking to provide those links to client reviewers so that they do not get overwhelmed with the edit mode sidekicks.    Thanks in advance! 

The date duration is set to "This Quarter", dimension by "Week".But the data will be refreshed once the new week reaches.Is there a way to get new week data only when the full week completes? Asking this is because the dashboard is scheduled a weekly delivery, according to current situation, we either will not get the full data if the schedule is earlier (last full week not completes), or will not get the full data for the current new week on the "number" area. Please help to share your ideas.Thanks for advance.

Hi there,I am looking for a way to add a custom data attribute that is rendered in the DOM. I have created a custom data type for Email Addresses by overlaying /libs/settings/dam/cfm/models/formbuilderconfig. I have wrote some custom JavaScript that performs validation to ensure they're entered correctly. However, I want to add a custom data-attribute inside the HTML for every instance of my custom data type, so that my validator can use that data-attribute as a selector. Any ideas? Many Thanks
