 Don't use tags as keywords  by Achim KochOverviewAEM Assets supports multiple ways to search for assets, e.g. Full text search andFilter by tagsto name just two. Unfortunately, tag references are also found as keywords in the full text search, which could lead users to believe that tags can be used in Omnisearch. Since google has made updates to chrome in the end of 2023, Activity map is not working. In case anyone is still having issues with the Activity Map, there is a workaround (disabling the storage partitioning flag) feature for time being till Adobe Team fixes the issue.   Steps to disable: Go to 'chrome://flags/#third-party-storage-partitioning' In Third-party Storage Partitioning, change flag from Default to Disabled Relaunch the Chrome, and you are all set with the activity map!

Hi All,I am trying to setup AEM Publisher and Dispatcher in two seperate EC2 instance.Both of these instances are in same VPC and Availability Zone. I am able to access them seperately egPublisher10.21.311.12:4503/content/we-retail/us/en.html Dispatcher10.22.111.13:80/index.html But when i try to access Content page via Dispatcher i am getting the below error in disptcher.log [Tue Jul 11 04:27:04 2023] [W] [pid 1720:tid 139789263005248] Unable to connect socket to 10.21.311.12:4503: Permission denied[Tue Jul 11 04:27:04 2023] [W] [pid 1720:tid 139789263005248] Unable to connect to any backend in farm publish 1. I was reviewing the upcoming 23.3 release and saw that they dropped in a New Home Experience update (link). I find this new layout very promising, but after playing around in preview still very much in the camp of, this is not ready to be a default option. The widgets are inconsistent, we're losing functional features of the My Work list, and overall a bit confusing at this point. I was surprised with such a major feature announcement there was nothing out here in the community yet. What are other's thoughts on this new feature and how are they approaching any change management.

First of all, I'm using 6.5 on-prem with 6.5.21 service pack. Can anyone give me information on how I would be able to create a folder structure within the metadata schema form area?  I am running multiple sites within my instance and want to be able to delegate rights for the different site administrators to be able to manage/create their own metadata schemas as needed, but only for the sites they manage.  I know if I'm able to create a folder structure then I could accomplish this through folder security, but there is no out-of-the-box method to create folders within this interface.  The only option under "Create" is schema form. Even if I have to do this through a package deploy from a lower environment where I can manually create the folder structure I'd like to do it, but I can't identify the location of these schemas within the DAM.

Good morning - I've been doing some block development with UE and as I've been going through this, I wanted to ask a few questions.  In a recent GEM webinar, there was reference to appending foreground_ and background_ to block names and this would affect the grouping of divs in EDS. I tried to find documentation around this and other useful things to know when modelling, but I couldn't find it. When modelling the block, we assign names in the JSON, is this name attribute available to use in the Javascript? Reason is, if I have a model with multiple text types, these are outputted a P tag in a div. But I can't see a logical way to decorate specific children[n] of a block without knowing what I am decorating. Simple Example: Block has Author Text and Summary Text block types. If I don't add a Author, but add a Summary, I don't want the Summary styled like the Author.What I would like to do, is add an ID to the P tags which corresponds with the block name &l

Hi Team,      i was trying to execute below query on my query builder, when i execute this query (search text: Smart Lock) im getting 12 result count which is expected result, same when i execute this query with (search text: smart lock) im getting 0 result. I also tried with the group.2.operation=equalsIgnoreCase by replacing group.2_operation=like but it's not working. Hi, My organization wants to adopt asset live copies. We want an efficient way to monitor a large volume of source assets for changes, so that we know if live copies are no longer in sync. Ideally this could be done through a report, but I don't see any OOTB reports that monitor live copy sources. Any recommendations on how to solve for this? Thanks!Morgan 

Hi,We are using AEM 6.5I have a requirement on new version creation in AEM Page Version Creation/history, when I deploy a bundle (having some new content/image) in package manager the corresponding page should create a new version, is it possible?Example1. I'm not going to manually edit some content on the page when I deploy the bundle in the package manager, can we get the version history.2. Suppose i did some changes in Dev env at a page abc.html and page have versions up to  V1,V2 and V3 then made a package through package manager(versionupgrade.zip)  then i deployed into other env once i deployed into package manager i want to get the new version with updated content, which i have deployed the content from lower env.. 

Hi Everyone,I'm trying to generate the asset download report for my couple of assets in Tools > Assets > Reports on AEM 6.5.19.
