@jenla5 has a great method for visualizing Adobe Analytics usage within Workspace, see instructions here.Despite how cool/useful the report suite would be, it is still a partially manual process to generate. My team would like to try fully automating its creation using a combination of export/import API and common ETL tools, but the only step that doesn't appear to be available is the ability to automatically export user logs. Could the feature to use v2.0 API to export user logs be added to the Adobe I/O Console?Alternatively, could such a report suite be developed on Adobe's side to transform the user log data into Workspace dimensions/metrics?
Hi Team - It's an IDEA to have below field on the Programs with Opportunity Analysis. 1. Opportunity Closed Week This field is visible on “Opportunity Analysis” alreadyBut it is not on Program with opportunity analysis report. It's an idea, We should have this field on Programs with Opportunity report as well to have the time-frame wise reporting purpose. Thanks, Vinay
Currently, the same drop list of tags appear when adding Segments and Calculated Metrics. Once you create a tag, it will always appear within the drop down list of available tags to choose from. I would like the ability to edit/delete tags from appearing in the drop down list of available options. This would alleviate confusion from analysts about which tags are proper to use and would provide greater flexibility when grouping segments and calculated metrics. I understand you can add/edit/delete tags from segments and calculated metrics at any time, but there is currently no availability to edit/delete the drop down list of available tags. So, all spelling errors, improper tags, etc. once created will always appear in the drop down list and could be used by any users with access to segments and calculated metrics, which could lead to problems when assigning tags. Please let me know if I should explain anything further. Thank you!
Select a Color Palette on project level is a nice thing. However, it would be even better if one could select a different (custom) color per Panel. Now, that it's possible to have multiple report suites in a single workspace, it would make even more sense.
When you're in the milestones view of a report, it shows an elaborate breakdown of tasks, milestones, and completion %'s (along with the start and end dates) - shown in first screenshot. But when you send out the report as PDF (or any other method), it only shows the project name, owner, start on/due on, and completion %) - shown in 2nd screenshot. We use milestones for every project and being able to share a report showing these would be very effective.
The hourly rate used is currently only available by back-calculating from Resource Revenue (Resource Revenue / Hours). However, this does not make it easy to tell which rate sheet the hourly rate was pulled from.Ideally, the numbers and rate location behind Resource Revenue should be exposed as fields available for reporting:Is it the Default, Company, or Project rate?If Company, which one?The hourly rate directly cited that is being used by that hour record. This is something that bothers our finance people from a surety-of-data perspective, especially as convoluted as we feel the financial aspect of Workfront is.
It would be great to be able to add a due date to a new task using the Slack integration. To me, it defeats the purpose of adding a task in Slack, assigned someone, but then having to actually go into Workfront any way to add the correct due date. Right now, the due date defaults to the start date of the project, which very rarely the true due date. Thanks!
In my previous job, we used Asana and I used their functionality of being able to use a direct link of the project name to send to team members via chat when I needed something quickly. I found I used it all the time, and now needing the same functionality with WF. Using the URL with a long url address is not ideal. We use the reference number and job description in our project name. Would love to select the project number/short project name and have it as a link to send someone.
Can we have a feature to auto update the Client console with the latest version compatible to the installed server? If someone do not ant to auto update it, then they can uncheck the option to auto update in the console properties.
We are currently implementing Workfront to a large user group in China and are disappointed to understand the Workfront App is not available in Traditional Chinese. As Workfront has a number of global clients, including the Chinese market, I believe this would be a very beneficial enhancement. Does anyone else work with Chinese markets and can you let me know how you get round this?
Within our Adobe Analytics, we're afforded a number of Analysis Workspace templates, some which are beneficial to us, and some that are not. From a "less beneficial" standpoint, it is VERY confusing to users that we have access to reporting templates for product features that we do not have available. For example, because we utilize Ad Cloud, we were told that the "Paid Search Engines" template will not work for our company, and the template itself will not load. However, there is no way for us to remove that report template within our company admin settings, thus creating confusion with users about under-utilized features. Would it be possible for a future Adobe product release to allow for admin customization of the available Analysis Workspace report templates? And, even better, could admins customize those Adobe "out of the box" templates themselves to better align with our instance?
When one has, for example, a number of metrics in the left side column under each other, it would be useful to be able to drag them up and down in order to change the order of them. There is a sort arrow but that only gives an alphabetic sort A-Z or Z-A on the names. See screenshot:So the idea would be to take, in this case, 'Unique Visitors', and drag it above 'Visits' for example. Off course the whole row to the right of the metric would move with it. This possibility to manually order the leftmost column would give the table more flexibility. Clicking the 'Sort' arrow could reset the ordering to one of the 2 predefined possibilities (A-Z or Z-A).
When attempting to proof a url contains a pop-up window. When opening via ' Workront Proof' the page/url opens, however the pop-up Window keep re-appearing.Currently, workfront proof can't prevent displaying this pop-up on this page. The proofs of websites allow business to perform necessary compliance review requests submitted by the business to meet compliance and regulatory needs.Business depend on proofs to properly document and archive all of our compliance reviews.Because of this pop/up now, business are unable to review that material, write comments within the proof, document it, and meet the business needs.
Adobe Analytics has a built-in segment, "Visits from Mobile Devices", defined as Visit where Mobile Device exists. AA also has a built-in segment, "Visits from Non-Mobile Devices", defined as excluding Visit where Mobile Device Type = "Mobile Phone" or Mobile Device Type = "Tablet". The problem with the "Visits from Mobile Devices" segment is that Smart TVs are also considered Mobile Devices, but not Mobile Phones nor Tablets. This table illustrates the contradiction: This is counter-intuitive. Any user who does not inspect the values behind the definitions will be left wondering why a device can be both a Mobile Device and a Non-Mobile Device, as illustrated by this Venn diagram:SolutionDO NOT categorise Smart TVs as Mobile Devices. Or rather, ensure that Mobile Devices really refer to what are commonly known as "mobile devices", i.e. phones and tablets and any other portable IoT device. Smart TVs aren't considered mobile devices generally. If the a
Allow the ability to automatically send chart reports.
If I am an objects owner I should be able to manually push an email notification. Say I had a custom notification that goes out at a task's start date and a new asignee is assigned after the start date or I want to resend as a reminder. I should be able to re-push that notification to resend it.
I'd like to have the ability to push email notifications at the project level similar to how it can be done at the system level from Diagnostics. So at the project level Send Overdue Notifications, Send Early Notifications, and Send Reminder notifications. Only for the tasks in that project.
Currently, there's no option to collect the value of a Product Syntax in a Data Elements for Adobe Launch Mobile property using the Context Data Key. Would it be possible to add the possibility to capture Product Syntax in a Data Element? Thank you
Currently, to add eVars and prop in a product syntax we need to use the eVar slot :cdata.put("&&products", ";Shoes;1;69.95;eVar1=Merchandising;eVar2=TEST,;Socks;10;29.99;eVar1=Merchandising;eVar2=TEST2"); Would it be possible to use the variable name that we have in Adobe Mobile Services? For example, if eVar1 is attributed to "productCategory", we'd have :cdata.put("&&products", ";Shoes;1;69.95;productCategory=Merchandising;eVar2=TEST,;Socks;10;29.99;productCategory=Merchandising;eVar2=TEST2"); For cases that we have multiples eVar and prop, it's harder dor developper to understand what they are pushing. Thank you
Currently, the automated report feature does not provide the ability to export and distribute a chart report. It only automatically exports the report details. This request is to provide the ability to choose the report type for automated reports.
Allow users to select multiple hours types in a weekly timesheet.
Currently we can take a picture and add it to an object directly in the mobil app. We use the app while doing quality audits in the field and could use the ability to take video and add it to the object directly in the app. Currently we have to take the video on our device and upload it later.
We would find it extremely helpful to mimic the behavior of Documents, to also apply to the actual Folders where Documents can reside.Project > Documents tab > Folders > Project FoldersExample : You can select/click a document that lives in the Documents tab, or in a folder, and have the ability within the right Navigation, to review Details, create an Update - as well as Notify people or Teams, or apply a Custom Form. We would like that behavior to apply to the actual created Project Folders that live within the Documents tab - specifically interested in the Updates feature. This would eliminate the need to "tag" every document/image that lives within a Project Folder, especially when the total contents of a folder is up for review. Tagging the folder itself via Update is a needed feature request.
Improve the error messaging of data warehouse reports when there's errors. For example the current error I was provided of "Internal error. Contact support." isn't useful to resolve myself and days later am still awaiting a resolution to resolve the issue when it should have been a simple task to create a data warehouse report. Change the Status Descriptions to add additional error messages that help the user resolve the error themselves or at least give more context would be greatly appreciated.
When a Data Warehouse report fails we are not notified. We have to check the Request Manager at random times to try to see if it is still processing or if it failed. And when it did fail, we are not told why. A better error message in the UI (and sent in an email) would be useful. Also an automatic resubmit of the report if the error was not due to something on my end would be good. I obviously want the report, so I should not have to resubmit it myself.Source image file 21396 not available
