Meet Alloy.js and Never Tag for an eVar or Mbox Again Over the years, as Adobe has built or acquired new technology, and we've collected lots of JavaScript libraries — AppMeasurement.js, mbox.js, at.js, DIL.js, Visitor.js, just to name a few. Each has its own strengths, features, history, functions, schema, quirks, and interdependencies. Although Adobe Experience Platform Launch makes it as easy as possible to manage all these libraries, customers have been asking us for years why we can’t just have one JavaScript tag and library. Today is the day. Meet the new Alloy.js. Our team has worked hard all year to take all the best features of our current libraries and build a new one that supports Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, and Adobe Target. One library and beacon, sent to a single destination, then mapped and sent to all your Adobe solutions server side. And that’s just the beginning. View the session - https://adobe.ly/39wvntK Let'

Tips for Building an Effective and Efficient Enterprise Adobe Experience Manager Platform by Brett Birschbach Abstract Content Management System (CMS) platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) are purchased by enterprise organizations looking to empower their brand and business unit marketers to create first-class digital experiences with reduced maintenance costs and dependence on IT. However, many organizations find themselves experiencing the opposite, with development and maintenance costs steadily increasing over time as their CMS becomes a Frankenstein of hundreds of components and IT once again becomes a bottleneck. Building a clean, maintainable AEM platform in support of a single site is pretty straightforward. Without proper planning and business goals, however, enterprises consisting of multiple brands and business units often see what started as 40 components and 8-page templates multiply into 400 components and 80-page templates. Website updates become constraine

Hello Community, I need to learn HTL. I'd like to learn how the whole system works, specifically adding/editing components with varying degrees of logic. Anything from adding new functionality to an existing component to creating a new component from scratch. My question, as a noob is, are there any courses/boot-camps out there that teach this stuff? HTL, JavaScript, JAVA and Sling and how it all integrates within the AEM system? Any information is greatly appreciated Thanks!

Bringing AEM Back to Life with JConsole by Daniel Klco Abstract One of the most frustrating experiences in AEM development is "bricking" an instance. This happens when you do something that renders the instance unusable due to no longer being able to login or access the repository when it's running. Most of the times when this has happened to me when I've been messing with the authentication portions of AEM. Most, recently while working on the com.adobe.granite.auth.oauth bundle. This bundle is the basis for a number of AEM authentication features including Adobe IMS. I installed my updated bundle and bam! I got this lovely screen: Sad face I checked the logs and saw a nastygram: 15.09.2021 14:52:34.780 *WARN* [127.0.0.1 [1631731954777] GET /libs/granite/core/content/login.html HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.granite.metrics.knownerrors.impl.ErrorLoggingComponentFilter Exception in component: category=CUSTOMER_CODE, resourceType=granite/core/components/login, exceptionType=org.apache.sling.
