I work for a global company and we have 25 different countries that need reporting. We have three sites, each with a dev and production report suite. This means a possible 50 report suites per site, totaling 150. When I click on the report suite selector a long list of report suites appears with no organization. It would be nice if there was some grouping for each site. Instead of 150 report suites, I would see three sites. Once you click on the site, the folder expands to show the associated report suites for each country. This would also help assign user rights, to one report suite category instead of 50. Maybe add tags to each report suite, then the report suite selector could group based on these tags. The below example is not organized. I would like a single "Shop" selection that expanded the related report suites:A similar discussion from four years ago is here:Reorder the Report Suite Groups list?
Currently within Analysis Workspace, there is the ability to use the "cumulative" function to get a running total of a metric, such as unique visitors, over a period of time and divide within that period of time, such as by month. However, this does not take into account that several of those visitors are the same visitors, returning from one month to the next.Request is to have an option to deduplicate the grouped results over time so that it would be possible to have a running total of values that takes into account de-duplicated data, so that rather than adding up to the individual totals from each month, the total across the time period with this metric would potentially be less than the total by month.Example:MonthUnique Visitors (Base Metric)Unique Visitors (Cumulative function as it exists today)Unique Visitors (Cumulative Distinct proposed metric across entire time period)Jan 2019100100100Feb 2019150250230 (20 of these visitors overlap with ones we've already recognized from th
Median and percentile functions are available as built-in functions for calculated metrics within Adobe Analytcs, but they are Table based,From Adobe Documentation:Table Functions versus Row Functions A table function is one where the output is the same for every row of the table. A row function is one where the output is different for every row of the table. See below example of table using the this functionality with one Median and one 90th Percentile metric. The base metric that is calculated as median and 90th percentile is a Numeric metric. With Row capability for median and percentile, instead of having the median/percentile for all line items in total it would be possible to see the median for each individual row. Ie, what was the median/percentile for Feb 4, Feb 11, Feb18.This functionality would be fantastic and help to calculate medians/percentiles directly in the Adobe interface without having to resort to large data exports and manual calculation. Useful for any Numeri
I have been working with support to determine whether or not the inability to set s.linkName in the custom code section of a rule is by design or is a bug. Engineering came back and said that the functionality is by design but everyone I have discussed this with on Adobe's side has agreed that they would expect that if s.linkName is dynamically set in the custom code section, then the value from the input for link name should be overwritten. Currently that is not the case, but I am hoping we can get that functionality added for use cases where this is necessary.
Currently we cannot add list var settings as column selections on the Report Suites page in Admin. I would love that to be enabled! It would be awesome to have the Customize Columns (top right) have List Vars as an option when filtering Report Suites.
Current Issue:Right now, users may add custom descriptions to eVar & prop dimensions, however users cannot add custom descriptions to Adobe standard "out of the box" variables or classification dimensions. This inhibits user enablement as it may cause confusion to users who do not understand what certain dimensions are intended for. See screenshots for what I mean: Proposed Idea/Solution: The proposed idea would be to enable Admins the ability to add custom descriptions to out-of-the-box standard Adobe variables (such as Product variable) and also to attributes that are built from classification columns.Benefit/reason for request:This will help enable users to understand what the definition/description for every dimension, and will promote user adoption, especially for customized Adobe implementations. Our Adobe implementation does not leverage the "Adobe tag". Rather, we use a proprietary tagging solution, and so a lot of the standard Adobe variables are not applicable to our acco
It would be really great if we had the ability to schedule FTP Export classfiication files. We get new values all the time in our reports. We have to request and wait for reports to be ready. It would be great if we could schedule these requests. I know there is an API, but we dont necessarily have the skillset to build these applications.
I tend to use the analysis workspace freeform table a lot to organize my segments and metrics in a single table, a single version of the truth if you will.however I find it difficult to share these tables via email / slack because one the table gets more than 10 or so columns the column names get cut off.my primary freeform table that I'm socializing right now with internal stakeholders has 23 columnsso the question is what can be done to wrap the text within these columns headers?I would like to be able to toggle the wrapping, as sometimes it is needed and some times is it not. a solution like this also suggests that we might be able to control the height of column headers, to compliment our current ability to manage the width of the column headersif we're going to wrap it, I prefer center alignment of the text but having the option to do left, center or right text alignment might be helpful for others.I think the way segments work across columns (cells get merged for the lack of a b
We are making extensive use of virtual report suites to manage the way we share & present data throughout our organisation. However, the lack of support for Data Sources potentially wreaks havoc on our carefully planned virtual report suites strategy. The problem is that every time a user requires access to the data uploaded via data sources (e.g. e-mail sent, opened, bounced etc.) we have to open up access to the underlying report suite completely bypassing our carefully curated virtual report suites. Please can you consider adding support for Data Sources to Virtual Report Suites?
With everything changing over to Admin Console for user management within Adobe Analytics, it would be extremely helpful for us to have the ability to include some additional information against our users:A notes section, which would provide a centralized location and an easy documentation process for recording any important notes about a user's role as well as the justification for the role any specific user is given.A way to designate 1 or more individuals as overall lead Administrators for any certain tool, especially Adobe Analytics, because we have a number of different groups who use the tool. As a result, it make it a lot easier for us to identify a very small subset of individuals who can make decisions about the entire tool.Last, if we could also have the ability to give a user the ability to Administrate a single report suite instead of gaining Admin access to the entire tool, that would be EXTREMELY helpful and provide for a better security model. Thanks in advance!
Hi,We do all AB test analysis in Workspace or Ad Hoc. I'll also get a data warehouse export so I can do some stats calculations.that require the data by visitor. At the moment we have to use our own custom evar to track whether users are in a test or not (which is not as reliable) because A4T doesn't show up to be used in data warehouse. Is there any way this can get added? It would be a HUGE help.ThanksAlison
User management in Adobe Analytics is one of the most "special" access and rights management configuration I have seen. Next to that, the possibility to share components (namely Segments, Calculated Metrics, Workspace Projects...) with Groups is only possible for Admin Users. So, imagine you configure different groups within your organization: one group per functional team. Adobe users within those teams cannot share specific Segments or Workspace Projects directly to their own team. They would need to do it user by user instead... If there are more than 10 people in one team, you understand it can quickly become annoying.Whishlist: allow non-admin users to see in sharing option pre-configured groups and allow them to share with these groups Segments, Calculated Metrics, Workspace Projects, etc they created_ _ _Update 1Linked idea: For Non-Administrators: Ability to SHARE Segments to a Select Group of People
Wondering whether we can have an option to switch Rows/columns on Visualizations(Graphs).Unable to see the same in Workspace and the feature will help us to play around.
New feature is nice, but here's an improvement. If you select more than 2 metrics and does the "create metric from selection", make the options just to Add or open in Metric Builder (could maybe make a case for multiply -- divide and subtract don't seem to make sense). Right now, it just takes the first 2 metrics you have highlighted and ignores the rest.
More often than not I experience that Workspace gets sluggish if you use it for a while. Up to the point that the whole page becomes unresponsive and you need to restart the browser or even reboot the system. A couple of users experienced this on various machines. It seems to consume a lot of resources.
Currently the printer-friendly options for Workspace are horrendous - the PDF always displays as a single page, regardless of project length. And I get this is partially because the full breadth of features are in visiting the page, but not all of our clients have the user capacity to create a new login for every person to whom they want to distribute this information.Idea is two-fold:- Create a "Page Break" option/feature so reports can be more easily designed for printing of the reportAND- Create Workspaces that can be viewed by anyone with a link (not required to use a login or allow logins that don't count against total users)It severely limits the usability of Workspace in the current format, as our clients have to budget when they can actually use it and many end-users of the data still prefer physical documents in front of them.
The mobile device reports all show the version of a device (ie Samsung Galaxy, Verizon Galaxy) for everything but Apple devices. This needs fixed. Currently the only way to break down by screen resolution and even that isn't very helpful.
When using a Full Processing data source type, you have to manually click "Complete Processing" for each file upload. It would be very useful to optionally automate this process, so we could for instance complete processing of the given data on a daily or hourly basis. The challenge from Adobe's point of view regards processing data for 'open visit', i.e. populating variables in the middle of a user's visit; but just as the "Complete Processing" functionality deals with this problem, so should a scheduled processing completion occur.
Allow revenue to be viewed in workspace to be viewed in the user defined currency rather than the report suite default currency.
My team offers support within the company for Workspace. Because of this responsibility, we all have many many projects users have shared with us over the years. It would be nice if we could remove these items from our project list without reaching out to each original owner individually. We know the projects can be transferred to a central account and magic can be worked out that way. However, we have hundreds of users and maintaining that process for one or two admins is not very practical.
So the idea of Attribution IQ is market leading, ingenious, great, fantastic, we love it BUT it's really annoying not being able to use calculated metrics directly in Workspace. I know you can create a new calculated metric with a model applied but you can't use a calculated metric in the Attribution IQ panel or apply a model on the fly to a calculated metric in your workspace.JenteDR - not sure if this helps with the question you'd asked in the forum.
When I create a new Marketing Cloud user in the Admin console (for Analytics or Target, for example), the welcome email they received doesn't indicate what their username/login is, needed for when they try to log in and if they are logging into from a browser other than that the welcome email link resolves to, and needed for password resets. Also, the email doesn't indicate what kind of ID type they have: Adobe ID or Enterprise ID. My organization currently uses both for Adobe products (Marketing Cloud and Creative Cloud, respectively). Currently, I have to set solution permissions as a separate step in the user creation process, but I also have additional work when creating a user because I have to trouble-shoot with the user after they receive the "Welcome email" to resolve why they could log in initially with no password (yes, clicking on the welcome email link brings them directly into the solution with no password and logging in), but have been unable to log in subsequently, creat
I noticed a request for preventing alerts from firing on certain days of the week, but what I would like to see is the ability to prevent alerts from firing on certain days. One of my clients is a financial company that sees extremely low traffic on days the stock market is closed, so I would like to not only prevent alerts from firing on Saturdays and Sundays, but also during holidays on which the stock market is closed -- Martin Luther King Day, Labor Day, Christmas, etc. Otherwise, if I want to use daily alerts, I have to choose between alerts firing every weekend and on holidays and setting a much lower bar than I would prefer for the alert to fire. Thanks for your consideration.
Background: 1. List variables are like eVas persistent by nature2. There is only 3 of list variables avalable per report suite3. There are growing numebr of use cases for list variables and they need to be reused more & more often Issue:When list varialbels are re-used the old values are being passed into new reports Requirement /:There is a need to enable RESET values option for list variables that would allow to delete all previous values stored in the cookies associated with the variables. This functinality is currently available for all eVars. Can it please be gtransffered to the list variables as well
There are two use cases for VRS component customization:1: Specifying a smaller set of core components to be available in a VRS (auto-exclude anything new)2: Removing specific components that might not be applicable to a VRS (but wanting everything else included)By default, any new component created in the parent report suite is placed in the Exclude bucket, this works great for use case #1, but for use case is #2, we constantly have to be going into the VRS settings to move new components from "Exclude" to "Include".It would be awesome if there were a toggle in the VRS settings to auto include, or auto exclude newly created components.
