It would be really beneficial to be able to download all data from workspace project into csv format. At present you can only download the current page data, and when wanting to split data by, for example. a customer ID and by multiple metrics this is not possible.
I created a rollup across 15 suites and noticed report builder can't pull the data in. Please give this ability, so we can easily schedule reports.
We want to create an Alert to tell us when a Tracking Code is outside the bounds of accepted codes, to tell us when a marketing person has created an improper code. But I notice when I drag Tracking Code dimension to the "filter" section, the UI ONLY allows for "equals" checking. This isn't feasible because we cannot possibly anticipate every badly formatted code. I tried using an asterisk, but that doesn't work either.Ideally we would like the Alerts to allow for "contains" or "starts with", etc., similar to what is available for segment creation. We use a standardized format for tracking codes per web property, so for instance for a certain web property we should only have tracking codes matching the format of EM_01_(whatever). So an alert we'd like is if a tracking code ever is something like EM_02_*, EM_03_*, etc.
There is no way to tell which feeds are paused. Maybe add it to Status? Also it is not obvious how to resume a paused feed.
Hi Team,Reaching out here for basically a 'Product enhancement' so as to help client leverage the Alerts functionality(within Analytics) better. The ask is to trigger an alert(notify a registered user on the client side) when the current day's data falls by more than a particular percentage(say 30%) when compared to the same metric number for the same day last week. For example: We would like to compare today's visits data(Tuesday) with last Tuesday's data.Based on my understanding, this cannot be configured based on the current set of available configurations. Feel free to add to this if necessary.Any thoughts/ideas/workarounds are most welcome.
i really love the anomality detection to get a hint where something is wrong. but having big workspace dashboards makes it hard to fund the anomlities ...New textbox with anomalities summaryhow about a new text box (similar to the visualization "text") which has a list of all visualizations where an anomality has been detected. and to make it great, the list is hyperlinked to the visualization
Hello, As a user, I want to be informed by a short text message that the feature I am trying to use is not available for X reason. Example : I tried to select a segment on a report (key metrics) running on a rollup report suite. I couldn't know/ remember/ spent time to read the help section/... so I wasted my time and the one of Adobe Customer Care people to get the simple answer : segments are not available for rollup report suite. A simple text message close to the feature position ("segments are not available for rollups") would have helped a lot and spare time to many people. Instead of that there was a blank space which is confusing for a user, and let me believe it was a bug.... Thanks.
In most cases, folks create new Bot Rules specifically because they've uncovered a bot that has been messing with their data... unfortunately, by the time you've identified the problem and created the rule, it's too late: the bot has already done damage. The workarounds are pretty drastic- applying a segment to every report, or moving entirely into a Virtual Report Suite that doesn't include the bot traffic retroactively.Bot rules working on historical data would be a huge help.
Hi, Currently in Adobe, we use a few calculated metrics that rely on averages. We use arithmetic mean when calculating Average Order Value(Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Orders) and Average Selling Price (Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Units). Unfortunately, when applying these calculated metrics to a smaller population or segmented data set in Adobe Analytics, the mean does not account for outliers. It would be nice if calculated metrics had a harmonic mean function.
It would be nice if there were configuration variables in the library, something like s.queryParamOverrides = firstName, first_name, fname, address ....s.queryParamOverrideValue = foo wherein a list of query parameters can be overwritten with the value contained in s.queryParamOverriveValue. Many of us face data protection issues and adding the option to strip or override these values would be a great help in helping/simplifying things. Cheers Kevin
Make them more like Classification Rule Builder Rules, where you create a rule and specify what report suite(s) it should apply to. It is a NIGHTMARE having to maintain PRs across hundreds of report suites!
I would like for my scheduled projects to appear in the email body, like the scheduled reports from reports and analytics do.Current Workspace delivery optionsCurrent Reports and Analytics delivery options:
While creating an alert its nice to have alert starting date that way we can define our weekly report. At this point weekly alert is not working as expected. I have weekly Alert setup for last touch channel and its trigger every week which is annoying. And the reason its happening because of wrong date comparison. I remember when i setup this alert the day was Wednesday, so my report getting compare with this week 3 days (sun to tue) vs last week's 7 days. My suggestion is 1. Either set default weekly alert as Saturday or2. Give an option to define weekly report-Amarjeet
When attempting to setup Advertising Analytics with a large number of accounts, the process is very cumbersome. If you are a large organization with many Google Ad-words accounts, this process can take a very long time to setup. There should be an easier way to setup this integration if you have many accounts.
there are 2 scenarios I would like to see covered I want to allow a group of users to access classifications for a dimension but not the raw data in the dimension itselfI want to allow a group of users to access some but not all of the classifications
Simply put, the Report Suites > Conversion > Conversion Variables screen freezes everytime I try to open and close evars, and upon loading the page it freezes briefly, so that it can take up to 2 or 3 minutes just to change an evar. It would be nice if this screen got a redesign so it would work much more quickly.
I build segments a lot and would like the feature to filter the comparison operator by typing. It's a small change that would speed up building segments that small amount! For example, if I wanted to apply the "equals" comparison operator, it would be great if I were to begin to type "equals" and only have options containing equals appear. This would save time by not having to scroll and look for it!
It would be great to add a customer further analyze url to an alert notification. We have much more comprehensive workspace dashboards for analysis into alerts. it would be great if we could link directly to them rather than the standard further analyze dashboards which are pretty thin.
We use this feature very frequently in order to trouble shoot or to make authorized changes for users who don't have the time or don't have access to the EC at the time required. It would be very important for us to still have this functionality within the EC Admin Console.Kind regards,Susanne SteinkeDeutsche Post DHL
Today different components (Work Spaces, Reports, Work Bench and Warehouse off the top of my head) all have a mixed bag of options when it comes to scheduling them.Data Warehouse supports SFTP, FTP and Email, Reports only support FTP and E-mail, Work Spaces can only be E-Mailed. It would be more practical and better user experience to let all exports share the same full list of options especially given the fact FTP itself is being widely deprecated in favor of more secure standards (SFTP, FTPS) and more data feed delivery options are being requested from the user community.https://techhq.com/2018/12/are-we-finally-saying-goodbye-to-ftp/
Take for example a simple segment where Visitor viewed 2+ Page Views When the segment is applied to table the condition is based on the time frame on the calendar and not the row (with date dimention/metric). Would like to see an option or be able to restric the sement timeframe to the row as this would allow us to see trend for the specified segment without having to create reports for individual time frames. eg. Show trend of Visitors who viewed more than 2 Page Views by month over last 13 months.
Currently in Workspace i'm using Custom Time Periods to compare a rolling 4 weeks - 2 weeks vs. 2 weeks. The original goal of the report was to monitoring things every day measuring and alerting for significant drops. The problem is I can't use the same report to check 'historical' time periods - meaning if I change the project date range nothing updates because the Custom Time Periods are all based on 'current day' (i.e. current day minus 28 days to current day minus 15 days). it would great if we could create a Custom Time Period that reference the 'project end day' of the time period I select in the Date Range (top right corner of the project panel)in short, in addition to 'current day' for the Custom Time period builder, can we add 'Project End Day'. so my custom time period would be built as [project end day minus 28 days to project end day minus 15 days] which means my calculated metrics would update based on any time range I select? I understand this won't change the 'minus 28
The workflow of discovery in Analysis workspace, and curation is fantastic! Thank you for the years of work and great experience. Building on that workflow, ideally we could make complex queries (workspace) that could be "designed" by the teams (personas) and then graduate into standing Report Builder enabled reporting. This is great for two reasons in true multi-national environments where multiple brands and geographies are required to be accounted for in thinking and process. 1. The "common elements" (Usually 80% repeated by market) are then accessible in an area where we can further reduce the audience as needed by simply adapting filtering capabilities or by many other segmentation abilities in RB downstream. 2. For companies that have vendor, owner and franchise models, in RB the end user (quarterback from marketing to end user) can then "lock down" the data by rendering the view for a single property, brand, product, owner, franchise etc to further reflect the c
I would like to raise a feature request on Analytics reporting API.We would like to be able to manage hourly filtering in Analytics: that means to be able to create Analytics segment based on hour dimension (for instance “Last X hours” within an AA segment) at visitor level. Sincerely, Isabelle
To control what variables and events are shown, we have Virtual Report Suite specific user groups set up.Currently when we need to set up a new user group, it's insanely time consuming to add users to the new group because the pick list only includes the username, no other attributes. Two features that would address are issue are: 1) A user group cloning feature (e.g. through a 'copy' button or a Save As) would allow us to set up a master user group that contains all the users and the we clone it to adjust the 'report access' customizations. 2) Add the ability to search on any user attribute, not just username, on the user group screen. This would allow us to store values in their profile (e.g. title since there's no general description field) that are helpful for the way we organize our user groups.
