If you have a report in workspace using an event, something like product views as your metric and week as your dimension, and you see a drop in views in the last week and you want to see which day that started on, you would break it down by day. However, when breaking down by day, it will give you a list of all days in your time period, not just the days in the week you are breaking down, like this:I don't understand why this would be the case. I would expect to only see the days in the week I am breaking down. One thing to note, when I do that same type of report but use a standard metric (like visits, page views) then this issue doesn't happen (I only see the days of the week I am breaking down).
We have found that we can include in a Data Feed (in order to ingest that data in our Data Lake) the Last and First Touch Channel ID. Not the name of the channel, because, being processed data is imposible to have the name in the hit.But there is no way to have a matching table, because it´s not possible to automate an export of the Marketing Channels names with the ID, we can export the variables using a DWH, but there´s no variable for the ID.It will be very useful to be able to program export of the Marketing Channels definition with IDs and corresponding names.
Now that certification for Processing Rules is no longer required, it should be time to open up a Save method for processing rules in the APIPresently the only method available is 'ViewProcessingRules' in the 'ReportSuite' APIAs a company with dozens of active RSIDs with standardized Processing Rules, a change in one rule set is a pain to roll out everywhereHaving a Save method for Processing rules would make it easy to update across Report Suites, as it is done now with variables/events
Currently we duplicating query using the below option,"Right Click > Copy Request" then "Right Click > Paste > Absolute Input" We need shortcut like "Ctrl + C" to copy and "Ctrl + V" to Paste Absolute Input, which helps create many queries in short time.RegardsAshok
Current we have option to add prepend/postpend Text to Line Item in report builder.By introducing Trim option in Line Item we can get better report.Example: Pagename has captured as "SG:HomePage:Product1:SubProduct1", i only want to display "SubProduct1" in visualization. Currently we use excel formula to trim these data. Whenever Line Item has increased we need to manually extent these formula, due to these reason unable to automate some reports.RegardsAshok
In Venn visualization would be great to see size and generate new segments outside of the overlaps. Today you can only get totals in segments (full circles) and in the overlaps, and you can only generate new segments from the overlaps.
My company is moving all users to federated ID so we can use our enterprise login for all Adobe services. This is great and makes things much more secure.I've noticed that for most Adobe products, I get the choice to log in with my Adobe ID or my Enterprise ID. However, when I click to the forums, I don't get that option. If I am logged in as an enterprise user I'm actually forced to log out and log back in with my Adobe ID. It makes switching between the product and the forums onerous, so that I can't actually reference the UI while I'm searching for terms or pasting in screenshots (Without opening an incognito tab, at least, as a workaround.)Couldn't you allow enterprise users to create a forum handle? Or otherwise merge their forum account only to their enterprise ID?
It would be great if we could get a direct link to share that would always open a template, much like the function at "Share -> Get Project Link" within workspaces. (of course you can share a pre-saved workspace like we had to do before custom templates were available but this defeats the point of templates again)The current URL when clicking "Create" after selecting a template works until the session ends. I've tried manipulating the URL to make it always work but so far no luck.I would like to have a direct link so I can include it in documentation to share with the less AA-literate colleagues so they can make the most of the templates without having to search through the list of templates which is hard enough when they all have the same image. Thanks
In Report Builder, currently we don't have option to prioritize refreshing data blocks.By implementing this option we can easily get complicated data.RegardsAshok
Currently we have option to paste query as "Paste > Absolute Input" and "Paste > Relative Input".We need option to paste with combination of Absolute and Relative (Some Inputs as Absolute and Some Inputs as Relative)Which helps many reports..RegardsAshok
Hello Adobe Community !I noticed that Summary Numbers don't support conditional formating, nor polarity on the number ( negative numbers are the same font color than positive numbers ).It would be nice to support this, spetially polarity !Thanks again! And cheers for the great work of the Adobe community !
it is not possible to share assets with admin console user groups at the moment. you have create redundant product profile groups. can you please allow us to use user groups for this purpose ? this would allow us to use user groups to assign product and share assets within a product. this list only references product profile groups, which i would never create to share assets.
It would be great if we could enable/disable, create, and edit Alerts via API.Enable/disable would help customers keep them relevant and work around the "have to delete 12 meaningless Alerts every morning" effect.Create/edit on top of that would allow better integration with Enterprise systems.
Telecom Customer would like to update a number of Adobe Reports and Analytics segments at one time. Example: Identify segments that use a specific prop like prop 22 and replace it with prop 25. But the segments would not have the same definition.Currently searching for segments and editing one by one is not ideal and very time consuming.
Hi,Currently it is not possible to resize the legend width in order to have the label visible on one row and not be truncated over multiple rowsCfr next screenshot. It would be great that we could resize this by pulling/dragging the scrollbar line (cfr yellow marked) to the right. Thanks,Sarah
Telecom Customer needs an export of all Analytics Segments and Definitions. Currently there is not a way to do this from the Analytics UI.Feature Request. Export Analytics Segments and Definitions from UI.
when a scheduled report failed to be delivered, it get's marked as failed as shown here:i see the following problems and improvements:Reason for failure: currently i see no reason why the schedule failed or which recipients didn't get the scheduled projectDate of failure: i can't see any date when the failure appearedExpiry of message: if the same schedule has a new run without a failure, the above messages stay as "failed", even when all recipients get the desired workspace projectMessage system: the owner of the scheduled project doesn't get a message that there was a failure. as the owner of the schedule it would be nice to see a message by email (or marketing cloud notification) that a schedule had a failurevisibility (red sign): the red sign only appears when the filter "failed" is marked. the sign should be on the main schedule as well! if a failure appears it looks as the system generates an additional entry for the failed report which is only available/visible when filtered for
We run an ETL process with a scheduled Data Warehouse report as input. When the format of this report changes between CSV and ZIP from one month to the next, it breaks our ETL process. I would like to see an option to choose the format of the Data Warehouse report so that it is consistent every time it runs.
Workspace is pretty, but it's not the fastest, especially when working close to the max of 25 months of data. Slow speeds compound in frustration when Workspace tries to recalculate whole tables and connected visualizations each time something changes. Modifying a table is next to impossible when reconfiguring each dimension or metric causes 15+ seconds of recalculation of the table and it's associated visualizations.Tableau gets around this with a pause button. I would hugely appreciate this functionality.Features of the pause button- Panel-level pausing for all calculations in the panel. Button would be available in header to pause panels before expanding them- All visualizations can still be configured, and all components accessed, but no new data would be calculated- Visualizations with changes made during a pause would gain some sort of highlight/color change- Export functionality could be turned off- Bonus: pressing the pause button halts all current calculations being performed,
We have Artificial Intelligence by Adobe Sensei, and, on the other hand, a personal data feed which is often rather abandoned...Why not let Sensei post recommendations, e.g. based on Adobe Analytics data, to the feed?
A Flow visualization can get a little difficult to handle after the user switches from one dimension to another. One dimension:Very clean and aligned with what I clicked. Page Type = Product Details is expanded into all the next Page Types. But as soon as I switch dimensions in the right-most column to Product (to analyze what products were being accessed), I get into trouble:Each value that was shown in the Page Type column is now expanded into the Product dimension column: Product Details, Department, Search Results, Shopping Cart, and Home. To continue my analysis, I have to click everything but Product Details.I'd love to be able to right-click on one of the values in Page Type to focus on paths that go through that Product Details item only:
From a technical point of view this is not difficult. You already have currency conversion in place for each report suite - being able to change this is key for our needs. All you need is a daily scrape of currencies from a supplier like XE. This would allow our UK team to see £, our FR team to see € and the US team to report in $. Currently we are using secondary server calls but this is not a viable long term solution.
Adobe:In administrating and managing AA at my company, it would be useful if we had an ability to download listings of "Scheduled Reports", Data Warehouse Reports, as well as being able to download lists from all other Admin pages. In some locations within Adobe Analytics, we are offered an opportunity to "Export to *.csv format" - I would like to see this ability everyplace - one example of a place I would like to see this would be within the "Scheduled Report Manager." One example of a place where this already exists is within Admin > Analytics Users and Assets - placing a check mark in the box at the top of the column on the far let checks all boxes and makes "Export to csv" available. I would like to see this function everyplace.Thank You,Bill MenichilloDow Jones
I have a Fallout report and whenever I move the mouse somewhere near the steps on the left, they expand to reveal all the pages that make up each step. This can be quite annoying, especially when you have a number of pages that make up each step as the fallout report becomes too big to see the whole report. Is there a way to not have these expand on mouseover and if not, could this be considered as an enhancement to the report?
I want to be able to export/download the logs from Analytics UI. For ex: I want to export or download a log of every Custom Event from a specific reporting suite that has been published or enabled within a time period.
