"Get Project Link" for templates

It would be great if we could get a direct link to share that would always open a template, much like the function at "Share -> Get Project Link" within workspaces. (of course you can share a pre-saved workspace like we had to do before custom templates were available but this defeats the point of templates again)

The current URL when clicking "Create" after selecting a template works until the session ends. I've tried manipulating the URL to make it always work but so far no luck.

I would like to have a direct link so I can include it in documentation to share with the less AA-literate colleagues so they can make the most of the templates without having to search through the list of templates which is hard enough when they all have the same image.
