The new image elements are great as they enable to secure the way images are insterted in an email and how the image will be formatted CSS-wise.But then it is now impossible to set the image using a token. We can only use real images here:This idea is about having a 4th choice here, that would be a token.Would be great in conjunction with and this one -Greg
It would be good to have the possibility to use the information that is available in the Resource Planner for other types of reports. Having the users, their planned hours, actual hours and percentages available outside the planner will also allow us to put together reports with information that can be found in a custom form or in another section of Workfront. The information on the resource planner is useful but it is impossible to use it outside this section. This development will bring more flexibility and would help us in the weekly reviews we do with our teams. The user can either put together a report outside the planner using the information on the resource planner or can add custom fields to the users rows on the Resource planner. For example a comments field. Current Behaviour - The information in the Resouce planner can only be exported or viewed on this section or Workfront.
Description - Adding a customized report "widget" on the newly designed home screenWhy is this feature important to you - one page with all the information I needHow would you like the feature to work - Add a report widget that you have built that will appear on the home screen dashboardCurrent Behaviour - no report widget
Currently, the global form validation rules primarily focus on email address domains, ensuring the accuracy of email submissions. While this is crucial, I'd like to suggest consider expanding these rules to cover additional fields and criteria to enhance the data quality and overall user experience.
We would like the overall project status not only to reflect that the project is current, on hold, complete, etc. but we would like to tie the current task job assignment into the overall status of the project. For example, if one of our tasks is assigned to design to create version 2, our production management team would like to be able to see in their projects view that this project is current - with design (team or user). We have implemented a manual solution for this by creating customized statuses and manually updating the project each time a task is complete but this has become tedious. We know that the milestone view is able available but this does not give us the granular information we would like to capture. Thank you!
With New Work Experience and custom forms, checkbox seems to make it automatic to give an "ALL" option if there are more than 2 options for the field. We want to be able to not have the ALL option displayed at all as we find that users tick that box often when it is not what's needed.
Hello, Right now it is not possible, when uploading files in batch for a record dataset, to make a full sync that can remove older batches of the dataset to be fully replaced by a new batch. The old batches can be removed from the catalog, but not from the profile when working with record datasets. This is a problem when we work with sources that sends a full snapshot of the data, because records existing in old batches that are no longer in the recent snapshot are not deleted in AEP (think about AI models where the objective users affected by the algorithm may change) Thanks and kind regards
Description - It would be a great feature to be able to edit comments in the Updates section of WorkfrontWhy is this feature important to you - Sometimes, I'm so caught up on making the comment legible and comprehendable, that I delay the notification of an update. How would you like the feature to work - In the three-dotted menu on updates, there would be an option to edit the commentCurrent Behaviour - no edit feature available (at least at my role in Workfront)
Depending on how wide your browser window is, the legend in a line graph will appear above or to the left of the graph. The example above shows the issue where the legend above the graph dominates the presentation. Yes I can change the height of the graph to mitigate that issue. It would be nice to also be able to choose an option to display the legend above or on the left.
Description - I would like more customized functionality in the matrix view of a report. Examples would be sorting by something other than the first column or removing or changing Descriptive titles (example below). Why is this feature important to you - More flexibility in what and how we report on stuff. How would you like the feature to work - Allow options in the matrix settings to toggle things on or off to show, have the field names in the matrix match what we've renamed a column to be and for sorting have the matrix view sort the way the report is sorted. Current Behaviour - limited functionality to customize reporting based on needs.
Our leadership would like to be able to use Workfront to forecast hours, revenues, costs and profits by month. Reporting on the Assignments object does not give project owners, resource managers or leadership information about daily/weekly/monthly totals of upcoming work for users. Under People, the Teams and Scheduling tools do give daily totals for users, but the views cannot be manipulated like a report. Nor can these views give information about future revenue or cost. The solution is to create Assigned Hours as a reporting object. Necessary data fields would include user, task/issue/project, date, forecasted resource revenue, and forecasted resource cost. An Assigned Hours report would function just like an hours report, but would be future looking. The Assigned hours data already exists at the user, date level in the Scheduling and Teams tools, so adding the financial information and exposing as a reporting object are the next step to making the data more powerful. Description - We could have multi tasks created, with back and forth chat happening to get items launched. As all task based conversations are routed to the project level updates, it makes it hard to track the relevant updates. Could we look at added "task conversations/tabs" where the conversation is kept to that task only and not spill over into the project level task where high-level updates are being added. Why is this feature important to you - A project could take 1 day or a year, trying to track old updates or details from task level owners is a huge challenge. How would you like the feature to work - Keep all task level updates to their folder, and don't allow these to roll up into project level updates OR create a dedicated tab for each task in the project level updates and use this for teams to chat there. Current Behaviour - Everything is being captured at project level updates and is very confusing.
Tools to help better manage scenario performance would be useful to know where to focus efforts on optimizing scenario configurations. For example, given a scenario that calls three services, a heat map showing overall processing time of a given module could indicate that a module or set of modules is heavily utilized and could benefit from a 1-2% improvement in performance.Examples of metrics to consider include:Processing time per module operationTotal processing time per module operationProcessing time variance per module operation
Description -Type a head field font tool in the bottom, so a user needs to go back and forth in these lengthier form fields just to make an adjustment. Why is this feature important to you - When this a long text user need to navigation is all the way at the bottomHow would you like the feature to work - we have the bottom navigation be floating or fixated for easy access

Description - It would be nice to have the option to make it mandatory for a user to log time to a task before than can mark it as complete. And to be able to set this option for specific teams and/or groups since different users have different requirements and ways they interact with the system. Why is this feature important to you - Our team is in the process of standing up our instance of Workfront and as we are driving user adoption and defining our processes, and this is an area of concern. Being able to require mandatory time tracking would help build the routine for our users and ensure better data being collected sooner than later for strong reporting. So, this would be a welcome functionality to WF for us. How would you like the feature to work - Before a task can be marked complete, or before a someone can mark "Done With My Part", a reminder or notification box pops up requiring them to log time before the task can be closed out. Current Behavi
Description - There should be a method to view any data export controls present on a marketplace feed before & after subscribingWhy is this feature important to you - Our customers may subscribe to a feed which is ineligible to activate to their destination. They would not be able to discover this until they actually attempt to activate the data, when it should be clear BEFORE subscribing. Even once faced with an error message, they would need to reach out to customer care and/or the data provider in order to view the data export controls present on a certain feed's data source. How would you like the feature to work - Retrieve data export controls from the data provider's data source, and provide a view to the data buyer within the marketplace subscription UI Current Behaviour - No option to view data export controls
Description -With current reporting and with current widgets on the Home area, it is not possible to have one report / list displaying all my assigned work - Tasks, Requests/Issues, Non-Connected Cards. The problem is specifically with non-connected cards on Boards. Assignments on non-connected cards can only be viewed on the board. If a team member is assigned to both project tasks, requests, and non-connected cards, then there is no one place to view all of their assigned work. How would you like the feature to work -Update the My Work widget on the Home area to also display non-connected Cards. Allow the ability to create Card reports - displaying a list of cards.
It would be helpful to have formatting options available for use in CUSTOM FORMS within the projects such as bullet points, underlines, bold, etc. It would be SUPER helpful to be able to copy and paste text from another source and maintain the formatting. Many times our requestors are providing information from mother sources and are presently losing the formatting that keeps their lengthy information block organized and easy to read.
The Data Dictionary has a limit of 255 characters, which is reasonable for the presentation. They are the inline Cliff notes. I have created full documentation for our custom variables in Confluence. It would be helpful to be able to add a More Info link to that documentation in the dictionary. This would probably mean you would need to distinguish the character limits between the presentation and the link.
