Adobe Workfront

Hello,  Fairly new to working on fusion but have been doing so now for around 6 months. I am currently working on a scenario that will create a new task based on the information that was on the just closed task with an updated future date. Essentially these are monthly and quarterly tasks to check on an automated project to assure they are working properly. My watch events trigger parameters are as follows: Record type: TaskState: New stateFilters:Name EQUAL Example Task NameAND Status EQUAL CPLAND connection user updates excludedRecord Origin: Updated Record Only I just put a random example for task name but the names of these task are unique in that no other tasks in our system would have these names. What is happening is that when I test this in our sandbox environment and I complete the "Example Task Name" in Workfront it is pulling in two different events for the same exact task closure. Hi all,  Looking for some guidance on how you would approach.  Our leadership is looking for a value in a dashboard that essentially shows the "total number of pieces" we've touched in a given window -- i.e. year to date.  Our projects are not always a 1:1 representation of this; as in one project could contain multiple pieces.  How would you recommend we capture and compile this information using forms/custom fields to be able to sync up with a dashboard?  I don't have much experience with calculated fields, but I'm wondering if that could be a solution. Any advice is appreciated!

Since Adobe took over Workfront, it seems we’ve lost the ability to upload Animated GIFs for proofing. Previously, we could play the GIF and pause it at any point to add comments, but that’s no longer possible. Now, I just get the "Proof failed to generate" error. I came across a thread from 01/22/24 by KierstenKollins (community advisor), where it was mentioned that "Support confirmed there is a bug with animated GIF proofs and passed it on to the developers for investigation." I reached out a few weeks ago to check if there was a fix, but I didn’t receive a response. I’m still experiencing the same issue, and no one has given any updates. Does anyone know if this has been resolved, or if a fix is coming soon? 

What's the best process to change a user account when their email address/SSO log in changes? I can't change the email address in Workfront since we are using admin console. I don't have a good way to test this with extra SSO accounts and I don't want to mess around on the user's account. I'm hoping someone has had experience with this while using admin console. Can I update the user's admin console email by csv import, while keeping the user name as the original email address in the csv import?

I FINALLY successfully created a calculated column on my report. YEAH ME.Now, when I go to the grouping area - this column is not selectable to be grouped. WHY?Now, when I go to the chart area - this column is not presented for me to select? WHY? So I can see the data in the column on the details tab of the report - but I can't do anything with it. What am I missing or is this a known workfront limitation?

I'm looking to filter an issue report by issues pending approval by my team. "My team" could be my Home Team or one of my Other Teams.  Any help would be appreciated!

HiIs there a code for a report that someone can supply to find all active Users who don't belong to a specified group - whether it's their home group or other group? When I use "or" it doesn't work - because if they are in the Home Group and not Other Group it lists them. Thanks!

Curious if anyone has encountered an issue when an animated GIF file is uploaded to a Proof and the proof thinks the file is a static image file instead of playing it like a video format? We just encountered this issue today and I have submitted a ticket already with support to investigate, but am curious is others are having this experience.

Hi All, I'm currently working on a Task report where the tasks descriptions contain the iteration ID. Is there a way to create a column in the report to filter out only the ID from the description using text mode? If so, how would that look like? This is how the description looks like: 20203363 | R10 | T33 - Description - Submission date I'd like to add a new column with only the values before the first "-" Thank you!

We’re trying to solve a problem where managers can see their direct subordinates’ projects (at least with view access). We want to automate visibility in Workfront so that managers can automatically see their subordinates’ projects. Is there a way to set that up in Workfront automatically without having to manually share every project with that requesters’ supervisor? Thanks!

I am trying to sort based on the priority column, how would I go about that? I am doing this on a task and issue report and have 2 ways to go about this.
