Hi,We need some guidance on handling non-English job titles in Marketo.We have a non-English landing page with an embedded Marketo form, and the form labels/input fields will also be in the local language. Currently, we have automation that derives Job Function and Job Level from the Job Title field when the title is entered in English.The challenge is that visitors on these localized pages may enter their job titles in non-English languages (for example, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German, etc.). Since our existing mapping logic only recognizes English job titles, these records are expected to default to "Other" for both Job Function and Job Level.Could you please advise on recommended approaches for handling this scenario?Thanks,Deepthi.

Hello! We have been advised that due to updates to tracking laws in two EU countries, we would like to exclude email open tracking for those two particular countries. We have an incredibly high volume of email sends, and would like to find some way to do this without having to create two versions of the same asset. Basically, there’s a box in the email designer that you can check to disable open tracking, but we just want it to be disabled for France and Italy. We don’t want to have to create specific emails for those two countries if we’re also sending EU or global emails.  Is there a possible way to do this through tokenizing? How can we tell an email asset to check the box sometimes, but not others?  Thanks. :)

I have noticed this ‘module’ section that is now accessible where you can select components to drag into the email you can also select prebuilt modules. I can’t find any documentation about this or if it’s possible to customise and add our own pre-built modules instead of creating fragments. Does anyone know if this is possible?

We are scheduled for the AWS data center migration in mid August. Can anyone that has already been through the migration give their feedback on how that went, issues they faced, gotchas to have in mind prior to the outage? We’ve gone through Marketo’s documentation but some of it is a little vague. In addition if anyone can answer any of the questions below that will be helpful:Does anyone have any screenshots of what the pages / forms (embedded or otherwise) look like during the outage?Did you get a notification when the migration was completed? They offer to cache embedded forms - what is the benefit of this? Would this allow the forms to stay visible and receive submissions to be processed later or does it just mean they would stay visible. I would love to be able to edit the headline and body copy for each pop up window in the flow of the Book at Meeting.Window 1 - blank white pop-up (needs to edit copy please wait while we load calendars...something to that effect, can be editable (would also love some icons that have movement… show calendar or hour glass)...Window 2 -Headline and body copy - retrieving calenderWindow 3 - Shows calendar and rep availabilityWindow 4 - ConfirmationRight now the header that is editable shows up the same on all 4 pop-up windows above, not a great experience for user.

I am working on mapping Marketo fields to Dynamics fields. I’ve noticed that some fields are showing as options to map for contacts, but not for leads. The fields exist, I just can see them as an option to map for leads. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

We are experiencing an issue where a batch/scheduled Smart Campaign is failing to deliver emails to target leads, even though the exact same email asset delivers successfully when triggered by a live action (e.g., Form Fill).Technical Details & Findings:Campaign Configuration: The Smart Campaign is a Batch mode campaign. The qualification rules are set to "Each person can run through the flow every time" and Communication Limits are set to "Ignore limit". Asset Validation: The email asset is fully approved. Delivery works perfectly via trigger workflows, confirming the email asset and recipient mail servers are functioning correctly. The Issue: When triggering via "Run Once" or scheduling the batch, the campaign executes but does not deliver to the intended test leads. The Smart List Status currently shows it is only affecting a small subset of people (e.g., around 5 existing people), and our target test leads are being skipped or excluded from the batch run.I need support to analy

In our instance of Marketo, we have ~200 forms programs. These programs use a handful of forms (~10). Many “contact us” pages use the same form but with a unique querystring parameter  appended (e.g., html://www.company,com/en/contact-us/html?cid=my-unique-product-page). These individual programs then fire off lead alerts to specific email addresses (~ 50 across all these programs) and sync into SFDC campaigns (sometimes multiple programs feed into a single SFDC campaign, sometime a unique SFDC campaign). Other forms programs might have 5 webpage references, since the same form is on all those pages and they can go to a common lead alert and SFDC campaign. Hi all,I’m trying to create a Marketo report showing where MQLs generated and handed over from our FY26 events sit in the funnel today.The requirement is for each regional marketer to select the event programs from their region and report on the current lifecycle status of the MQLs generated by those events.Program Membership would make selecting multiple events straightforward, but we specifically want to focus on leads whose MQL conversion was attributed to the event—not everyone who was a member of the program.I’ve therefore used Converting Campaign as the filter. However, Marketo doesn’t appear to support selecting multiple values within a single Converting Campaign filter, so I’ve had to add each event campaign individually. We have been getting pushback from stakeholders about how the Marketo add to calendar/ISC files are operating in the New Outlook vs Classic Outlook.Has anyone found a third party tool or workaround, that allows contacts to double click the ISC and have it open in new outlook rather than the new process of download and then add to calendar?

This is a bit of an edge case, but I feel I should find out the answer before it comes up: In our instance, we have a number of records where multiple contacts have the same email address. This is often intentional: As a membership organization, sometimes we’ll have a doctor register for a meeting and add his spouse, kids and a couple staffers all under his email address. So we may have 5 people that are all valid, different people with the same email address. I know that when Marketo sends an email to multiple contacts that have the same email address, it only sends the email once. That part is fine — Dr. Jones doesn’t need to get the same event reminder email 5 times. What I want to know is: How does Marketo choose which contact to send the email to? Is it simply the lowest/highest ID number? Is there a way to ensure the primary recipient? This would mainly be an issue in cases where there are personalization tokens or conditional content. Hi everyone,We're experiencing an issue where a Smart List shows a higher record count than what is returned by both the Marketo UI Export and the Bulk Extract API.For example:Smart List Count: 30k records Marketo UI Export: 13k records Bulk Extract API: Also returns fewer records than the Smart List count.Has anyone encountered this behavior before? We noticed one of our forms was getting several spam form fills, so we added “CAPTCHA = Trusted” as a constraint attached to the “Fills out Form” trigger for a handful of our smart campaigns.However, we realized this was causing form fills to not go through, even when I tested myself, as a human. After I removed the CAPTCHA = Trusted constraint, my form fill went through immediately. What is the best way to filter out spam/bot form fills on Marketo forms that live on Marketo landing pages or our website?

It’s great to see Marketo finally getting a makeover to some degree.I’m keen to understand:will this makeover will be platform-wide - ie all areas of the UI will be refreshed/optimised? will there be a dark-mode? will we be able to expand the view of advanced filters or be able to view the logic next to each filter? will we be able to copy/duplicate filters?

Hi everyone,I'm hoping someone has come across this before.We've built an email template using the new Adobe Email Designer with several 2:2 content modules (icon, headline and body copy). The template works perfectly in both light mode and dark mode as long as we don’t change the icons. We can create emails from the template and everything renders exactly as expected.The issue starts when we replace the icons.As soon as we update an icon (including using the Dark Mode image setting in the right-hand panel), dark mode starts behaving incorrectly. Instead of replacing the original icon, we see both the old and new icons rendered in dark mode, typically with one stacked directly above the other. In some cases the duplicate icon is also out of alignment with the headline and body copy, causing the layout of the 2:2 module to break.What's even more concerning is that once this happens, reverting the icon change doesn't restore the template.
