New Email Builder send preview

Hi ​@Brian-Minton from my experience you can’t send a sample of an email template you need to create an associated email to then send a sample. Its many extra steps than it used to be.
 

Test your email

When your message content is defined, you can use test profiles to preview it, send proofs, and control how it renders in popular desktop, mobile, and web-based clients. If you inserted personalized content, you can check how it is displayed in the message using test profile data.

To preview your email content, click Simulate content, then add a test profile (an existing lead of your database) to check your message using the test profile data.

Select your testing recipient and the select “Send Proof”. That’s where you put in your mailgun email address to view the email renderings on! 😅

​@Brian-Minton Totally get where you're coming from. To send a sample of your template, create an email using that template. Click Simulate Content, then add the people you'd send the email to (they will need to be people who are in your database). This way, when you send the preview, it will appear as if you're sending it to that person, and all the personalization will follow. It will then let you add email addresses to send the preview to. However, you add them one by one, and it doesn’t save them for the next test email, which is another pain point. 

I agree this process is much more cumbersome than the old editor, and I’m going to check whether this was already posted as an idea.
