Adobe Marketo Engage

I'm currently deleting leads in Marketo to reduce our database size, so we don't go over our contract limit. I've deleted over 1000 leads and yet the number on the database dashboard hasn't changed. I deleted these leads a few hours ago and have refreshed the dashboard multiple times.Has anyone experienced this before and could this just be a visual error that takes time to update?

Hi folks,I'm trying to send an email to a decent sized list of users with some dynamic content from a CSV inserted in a table with 3 columns. The 3 columns are the same across all the emails but the values in the rows will be different and while some users might have 1 entry I have some that have 10+ entries. I have the CSV with the users email and IDs and the data I want to inject, is there a way to do this so that each user gets only their own entires from the CSV at scale? Thanks!

Good morning, fellow Marketo-ers.I am building a program to reach new customers who have opened an account with us. The program will send a welcome email to someone who became a new customer AND opened an account within 24-48 hours. The two filters I need to use are Person was Created and Client Since Date.As this program will look at data input from our daily API push to Marketo, what is the best way to apply yesterday’s date to the two filters I mentioned?Any help or advice is appreciated.Cheers

Looking for some insight. We were recently hitting customer inboxes at 100% in Gmail, there's been a sudden nosedive to 50% of our emails hitting inboxes. We send from a dedicated IP that is DMARC Compliant, and we are on no Block Lists. We are one-click unsubscribe compliant as well, and all of our sends are from monitored inboxes (no noreply). What could be the cause for the sudden drop? We aren't hitting inboxes for Outlook either - but that has been an ongoing issue that we're trying to resolve with them.

Hi,  I am working on creating a new template in the new Marketo email builder and am struggling to find resources about using background colors.  I have created a 2:1 structure and filled this with text and a button. I would like to make the background color different from the email viewport and cannot determine the best way to do this. If I use a container then fill it with content the container is not responsive. Has anyone been able to solve for this?

Hi Just checking what everyone is doing regarding event lead tracking? We have recently been to a tradeshow and rather than fill in the lead form the team decided to just use the scanner provided by the event organiser, which means a lot more data processing. We have another event coming up and we don't have time to install our own scanner. curious to see what everyone else is doing. thanks.

Hi there,I am working on an exit-intent pop-up using Unbounce for our website and embedded a Marketo Form to track email subscriptions. Unfortunately, once I fill out the subscription form on the pop-up it opens the Marketo Landing Page (Thank You page for subscribing) within the pop-up's iFrame instead of opening a new browser. Any ideas on how to adjust the form settings to push them to a new browser for the page after they subscribe? I'd like to be able to track conversions through Unbounce and have an external conversion tracking script added to this thank you landing page but so far it isn't showing as a conversion. As an added note, the conversion tracking script is working through other pages, so I know this is set up properly.

Our Marketo instance is over a decade old and has changed hands few times. As a result, we have a large number of active programs and campaigns that need review. To clean up we’re looking to archive outdated programs and deactivate inactive campaigns. Could you please advise on the best approach to identify:1. Programs to Archive - We are planning to request an export from Marketo Support that includes key metadata such as:Last modified dateMember countActivity historyAre there any additional fields or filters that someone can recommend to help narrow this list down more effectively? 2. Campaigns to Deactivate - I assume similar fields (last run date, campaign type, affected member count, etc.) would apply here. I am trying to figure out how to get more advanced with random samples in Marketo. Here's an example: Sending an event invite to the state of New York. There are 100,000+ plus people in the database in New York across ~150 zip codes. For the soft launch, I want to select 10 people from each zip code in the state. I can't figure out how to do this, random sample seems to only allow me select a specific % across the entire state, but gives me no flexibility on how I'd like to distribute that sample. Is there a way to accomplish this?  I'm trying to apply that same logic to a product launch soft launch. I want to limit how many peopleper account get the first email but the random sample doesn't seem to allow me to distribute how I want the sample to be applied.

A community user wondered if they could show an email’s Subject line in View As Web Page mode.   It makes sense that Subject and other SMTP headers aren’t part of the VAWP display, as it’s designed to show the HTML content. Can Marketo sync and update then one record type with Salesforce? 

I have created an email and used a subject line as well. Is there any way that subject line will be visible in the browser also?

 Is it possible to use an online version of a deployed email in a different email CTA?Will this work in every email client and with that CTA tracking?

I am trying to get an alert for when a particular form is submitted a certain number of times. Ex: after 10 form submissions I know to take the form down as we would have reached max capacity for an event initiative.Essentially, I'm trying to think through if there is a new custom field that could be created that would incrementally update when a new form submission comes in, then when it reaches the max total, a flow is triggered.

Hello! With our company's latest Marketo renewal, we've added the "Deliverability Tools" functionality to our account. Could someone please share best practices and instructions on using this? The only tutorial I've seen is this one, and it doesn't really show how to set it up to even get to that point.  FYI - when I click Deliverability Tools, it directs me to this page and here's the screenshot of what I am seeing. It looks like we still need to set up the first profile, which I have no idea yet how to do. Any (all) information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 

Hi Team, We have a requirement regarding our approach to new contacts gathered from tradeshows or lists. Instead of immediately integrating them into our standard marketing efforts, we prefer to initiate a warm-up campaign. Once these contacts engage with us, we can then transition them into our regular marketing streams. To facilitate this, we plan to utilize an engagement program that allows us to manage these contacts at a streamlined level, enabling us to enter and exit them as needed. I conducted some tests with a few sample contacts to evaluate how the program functions. I found that while it's straightforward to add contacts to the program, the process of removing or pausing them requires clarification. Specifically, if I want to exit someone from the program, should I remove them entirely, or would pausing them within the cadence suffice? It's important to note that we still wish to track open and click rates, even if a contact has been exited or removed from the

Hi - My company is implementing a cookie consent solution. I know it affects web and form tracking if the user declines cookie tracking. Does is affect any behavioral tracking for emails?  For example, if a known record, opens or clicks an email, will the Munchkin Code still track that behavior if they decline cookies? Thanks.
