We're running into the exact same issue!We would love it if folder permissions could be carried over from a project template into the actual project. As it stands now we have to tell folks to manually set permissions when they create a new project for 3 different folders, which is exhausting.  

This still isn't possible right? I need to create a bunch of 'comment' fields, would like to have the label always say 'comment' but have the name be distinct so they're different fields in the system. Is this still not something I can do?

This would be so helpful. Can't believe project owners aren't automatically subscribed.

If the users (or group/team they're on) are specifically assigned to the task, I think they should get a notification. There might be some global notification settings to check though to make sure they're enabled. The way they are labeled in the admin panel doesn't always make it clear what they act...

I'm thinking this might be a version mismatch issue. The Staging AEM instance was 6.5.16 and the local environment was 6.5.12. I tried installing the same package on a local 6.5.16 install and the 'Recipient Details' settings came through successfully.
