For Data Sources and custom Actions in Journey Optimizer, we can use the Custom authentication mode with OAuth authentication to create a bearer token before the actual call.See https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/journeys/using/data-source-journeys/external-data-sources.html?lang=en for more details on how to configure custom authentication to call API wrapping protocols such as OAuth2

[Cross-posted from another forum]Hey all, We are looking to connect to internal APIs through Journey Optimizer with External data sources. We use AzureAD OAuth (JWT) authentication for all the APIs that we intend to connect to. Is this a feasible integration for JO? Can we generate JWT tokens on JO or have a working route for this?

This is the default behavior when a new version of a journey is created. Individuals who are already in the previous journey version will finish out the journey, but the old version is closed to new entrants. Any new triggers would put people into the latest version of the journey. For more information on journey versioning and lifecycle management, see here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/journeys/using/building-journeys/about-journey-building/journey-versions.html?lang=en

[Cross-posting this question from another forum]Hi all, does anyone have a best resource that discusses Journeys in the context of lifecycle management of versions, which ones are live, how to allow users to complete their journeys in V1 but have all new instances kick off the V1.1 version of the journey? I know if you stop a journey it ends the journey for everyone in that journey. what i'm looking for is to bring a journey "offline" which would allow any users in a journey to complete their pa...

So you're ready to build a journey in Abode Journey Optimizer. You click on "Create Journey", give your new journey a name and set the basic properties. And then...you have a blank canvas. How do you get started? It depends on the type of use case you have in mind. The key question to ask is do I want to:Send a message to my audience at a specified time (which could be right now, or on a recurring schedule)? Or,Set up a message to be triggered automatically in response to a behavioral action (suc...

Thanks Russ for describing how you can access Adobe Analytics data from the AEP Profile for orchestrating a journey (evaluating conditions, looking up or computing values to insert as parameters in Actions, etc). On the roadmap for later in H1 2020 we will add the ability for Journey Orchestration to listen for incoming Analytics events to trigger the start of a journey (or a subsequent step within a journey).

Finish and Stop are both options for terminating a live journey. The difference is in how they treat the individuals that are currently in the journey. When you Finish a journey, any individuals who are currently in the journey will remain and finish out the journey, but no new individuals will be able to enter the journey. Stop is for emergencies, when you notice something wrong with the way you set up the journey and want to pull the plug. When you Stop a journey, any individuals currently in ...

Hi Russ,There are 3 things you need to check: Make sure the event schema includes the "Orchestration eventID" mixin Make sure the event schema is enabled for Profile Give it a moment and refresh. Once (1) and (2) are confirmed, you should start seeing your schema in the drop-down list for Event configuration pretty quickly (within seconds), but you may need to refresh first.
