Hi there, Can anyone advise if it is possible to make Profiles read only through the Profiles screen (still updateable through workflows). When creating custom resources, I'm able to define "Actions on data" and leave "authorise creating" unchecked. Then on "detail screen" definition, I can also make all the fields "value" (rather than "input"). Given Profiles is a factory schema/resource.... is it possible to make it read only for all roles/security groups by hiding the create button - and setti...

Hi there, When creating new fields in ACS (profile resource extension or new custom resource) is it possible to create calculated fields like you can in Campaign Classic? I mean using an expression attribute expr="xxxx" to make use of the functions or create concantenations of other fields, like you can use in the expression editor. I've seen the default age field is a calculated field. e.g. expr="YearsOld([@birthDate])"But is there a way to do this for custom fields? Thanks David

@mmbb110 glad you got it working. consulting the logs and tasks section in the workflow action bar is always a good place to start if any workflow activity errors/flashes red.

Thanks David, I've now seen it's as simple as following a DM activity with a file transfer activity with a configured SFTP.I see that the file of the outbound DM transition is assumed, so very easy. Thanks David

Hi @mmbb110 , You can use the "computing the sending date" feature. This allows you to send as 1 delivery, but define different send times for different audiences. Some good and easy to follow instructions are here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-standard/using/testing-and-sending/scheduling-messages/computing-the-sending-date.html Thanks David

Hi there, I wish to send email deliveries to data that I don't want to store as profiles. I have imported the data into a file type audience via worklow. Now I have the file audience, how can I send a delivery to this?I've tried via workflow (read audience --> email delivery) but it errors as the inbound data is not profile dimension as usual. I assume this is something to do with the target mapping / target dimension set on the delivery template. Can someone advise on the steps needed / configu...

thanks @SatheeskannaK I can see tracking logs available on the nms:trackingLogRtEvent:rtEventTrackingLogNoFCP resource and delivery logs available under the nms:broadLogRtEvent:rtEventBroadLogNoFCP resource. The trouble I'm having is attributing the tracking logs against a delivery log. Both resources have a "deliveryLogID" attribute, however - these don't actually seem to correspond and every tracking log has a unique delivery Log ID (so I think this actually seems to be a tracking log ID). Hi All, Quick question - are tracking logs of Event Transactional Messages attributed to an event log?Basically when we send out transactional messages, is there actually a way to see who opened and clicked? (even if it's a case of exporting out rather than being able to easily query in ACS). Thanks David

Thanks David. That's what I feared! Makes more complex data objects difficult to use for personalisation, particularly for looping.

Hi All, I've probably asked this before... but is there a way of using data linked to the profiles schema in ACS. For simplicity lets say I have an Orders table linked to profiles table (1 cardinality simple link : so one occurrence of the order table can have at most one corresponding occurrence of the target table - but of course each profile record can have many order records)Is there a way I can use the orders data in an email delivery to personalise? My findings seem to be:* 1-n relationshi...

Thanks for responding.Good to know you can cut out the SFTP step. Shame you can't query multiple events, but makes sense why. Sounds like a solution for a handful of events but not really flexible scaleable. Thanks again

Hi @ramon_bisswanger Thanks for the answer, really useful to see the ctx data available for export. Are you essentially saying a workflow something like:Query (delivery logs of event) --> Data Extract (including ctx fields) --> File Transfer (upload) to SFTP --> File Transfer (download) from SFTP --> Data Loading --> I'd now have the CTX data in a workflow temp schema for further processing. And one more question if you don't mind....Is it possible to query all delivery logs of all events (and t...

Hi there, I'm very familiar with importing/exporting data to and from Campaign using external SFTPs.I do this by created an external account for the SFTP and then building workflows like: Query --> Extract file --> File Transfer (that uses the external account). However I'm new to using the Adobe SFTP!I've read that you don't actually need an file transfer activity? Is this correct? If so, to export a file to the Adobe SFTP - I assume the workflow would look something like:Query --> Extract file...

Hi there, I'm teaching some colleagues about transactional messaging and once they've created and published an event + message, I'd like them to go one step further and test through post man. However, they aren't adobe IO admins nor have a way of generating JWTs outside of IO.(I think the JWT --> Access Token --> Post Request might be a bit over the top for this intended audience also). Is there another way they could make simple post requests from postman?I think I saw in sandbox/training envir...

Hi there, I'm setting up some Transactional messages whereby the email trigger must be real time, but I cannot guarantee the profile will exist in the ACS profiles table. Therefore I am setting up as an event transactional message rather than a profile transactional message. At a later date, I'd like to be able to access details of each record of the event for follow up processing. This could be:* Exporting back to data warehouse* Updating a custom resource in ACS* Cross referencing with profile ...

Hi there, I have a scenario whereby I plan to set up some event transactional triggers and send emails using email address and other ctx attributes in the event. The reason that I plan to send as an event transactional message and not a profile transactional message is that I cannot guarantee that the profile will exist in the profile schema at the time. However, if possible I'd prefer not to totally ignore these transactional messages from the profile's contact history if they do exist. Is ther...

Hi there, I have a use case where 2 different systems (each managed by a different agency) needs to use Adobe Campaign Standards API (for transactional messaging). Can someone advise the best way to set-up: Create 1 integration in the Adobe IO console to ACS and install a public key for each of the 2 systems within that integration.ORCreate 2 integrations (one per system) and install 1 public key in each integration. Are both acceptable ways? Are there any benefits of one over another? Thanks Da...
