Proofing Dynamic Email Delivery that uses Workflow Additional Data (Segment Code)

Hi All, I have a situation whereby we are creating a single send email that:* Is executed through workflow* Uses segmentation to split target data into 8 segments (using filtering logic based on orders) and assigns segment code* Uses dynamic content and visibility conditions in the email delivery (using segment code) We are able to use the "substitution of addresses" feature to proof and preview final versions, once the segmentation is done, the workflow has run and the delivery has been prepare...

Is there an "is included in" operator in Adobe Campaign Standard queries?

Hi there, I have a requirement where I regularly need to query profiles that have bought 1 of a range of products (SKUs) Our data model has the following setup:Profile (1) --> (n) Orders (1) --> (n) Order Items There is "Product ID / SKU" column on the Order Items table. I need to build a filter that returns profiles that have an order that contains at least 1 of the product codes (SKUs). The screenshot below seems to be the way that it can be done. However, having to drag in "product code" attr...

Hi @ramon_bisswange That makes sense and can do via workflow. From your response, I'm guessing there is no way of doing it directly in a filter, as you can in campaign classic (as that would be my preferred route) Thanks for your quick response

Using Quarantine Data is ACS audience/query/segmentation

Hi All, Is there a way to access the quarantine data in Profile filters? I have created an audience and I would like to include a condition that is "not in quarantine" - so that I am not including profiles that have a quarantined email address in my initial query on a workflow. (I know they get excluded at point of send by the email delivery, but I'd rather take them out at the start). Can anyone advise what the filtering condition or advanced expression should be? Thanks David

Hi @Sukrity_Wadhwa, sadly not. There seems to be an issue/limitation when trying to paramaterise a field that lives on a schema more than one link beyond the profile table? As i have been mentioning, the filter works fine if you hardcode the attribute (rather than setting as a parameter). If you can have this checked with someone, that would be great.

hi @SatheeskannaK.It's 1 cardinality simple link. The link is defined on the orders custom resource as below (using specific join conditions - custom customerId field on both tables) There's no problem adding the param on an order table attribute. The filter works fine if just using orderDate for example.I hope that makes sense.

hi @SatheeskannaK. I have deleted and rebuilt and the error when publishing remains. As I mentioned, the parameter using a column from the orders table (orderDate) is fine. It's when using further linked data. Profile --> (1:N) Orders --> (1:N) Order Items (N:1) <-- Products. Could you try replicating using custom resources with this type of relationship?

hi @SatheeskannaK. Here is a screengrab. Looks ok? When compared with your example, my filter is obviously using data linked to orders. But as I said, I think the filter itself is fine as it works perfectly if I replace the parameter for productName with a hardcoded value. (whilst keeping the orderDate param)

Hi there,I'm trying to build a filter definition on the profile resource extension. This is so that users have a much simpler filter to use when building queries that use linked data. The filter definition is like this: My data model looks like this: Essentially I'm trying to build a filter that returns profiles that have an order record where order date is on or after xxxAnd the contains an order item record where product name comtains xxxx. However, when trying to publish - I am getting the fo...

Seems like it was because I added the value i wanted to be default at a later date.I was able to remedy by deleting all, republishing and then readding them in the correct order with default the first value (and then republish again)

Hi there, I have added "authorized values" to a range of new profile fields I am creating through custom resources. It seems that the first authorized value gets set as the default... which is fine. However, I have tried to amend the order of the authorised values using the handles - but they seem to change after saving, so I'm unable to set my preferred default. Has anyone seen this?Is there a way around it? Thanks David

Calculated Fields in ACS

Hi there, When creating new fields in ACS (profile resource extension or new custom resource) is it possible to create calculated fields like you can in Campaign Classic? I mean using an expression attribute expr="xxxx" to make use of the functions or create concantenations of other fields, like you can use in the expression editor. I've seen the default age field is a calculated field. e.g. expr="YearsOld([@birthDate])"But is there a way to do this for custom fields? Thanks David

Hi @mmbb110 , You can use the "computing the sending date" feature. This allows you to send as 1 delivery, but define different send times for different audiences. Some good and easy to follow instructions are here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-standard/using/testing-and-sending/scheduling-messages/computing-the-sending-date.html Thanks David

thanks @SatheeskannaK I can see tracking logs available on the nms:trackingLogRtEvent:rtEventTrackingLogNoFCP resource and delivery logs available under the nms:broadLogRtEvent:rtEventBroadLogNoFCP resource. The trouble I'm having is attributing the tracking logs against a delivery log. Both resources have a "deliveryLogID" attribute, however - these don't actually seem to correspond and every tracking log has a unique delivery Log ID (so I think this actually seems to be a tracking log ID).
