I'm guessing saving a baseline automatically is a system setting because I don't show any line items in the baselines tab for my projects. Any idea about that? I'm sure I can look it up in the WF help area but figured I'd ask.

Hi Anthony - I had no idea "Save Baseline" was an option and I've been using Workfront for 7+ years. Where do I find this?

We're not able to use the new Resource Planning tool in an efficient way because of how you first need to set project planned hours as budgeted and then set users planned hours as budgeted. For our organization, it doesn't make sense to not have the two be equal in the beginning of a project set up....

I'm hearing from various people in our organization that the new My Work Calendar isn't useful and hard to use. Direct feedback is that it's not user-friendly. Additional feedback: To view all of the tasks you are assigned in the timeline, you have to push the task details portion down to a positio...

Thanks, Michelle! I like you idea for a workaround. It actually may help us address another issue we've been running into with assigning multiple users to complete a single deliverable, where there may be two separate due dates.

Along the same lines as above, I have a similar need. We use the legacy user utilization resource grid to review planned and projected capacity. We have filters for each team, which is helpful so see who on a team may be over/under capacity and how things can be moved around. We then drill down to t...

The Calendars section is a very underutilized part of Workfront for our agency. It would be more useful for use if you could add portfolios, companies or teams tasks instead of having to manually add the project, task or issue. For example, our Director of Content could pull up the Content Team cale...

Often time there are small steps/items that need to be remembered for a particular task. It's too granular to be it's own task, but it would be helpful for the user/resource to be able to add a checklist/to-do list to their own task and for a checklist to be added to templates. For example, an ar...

Currently you can adjust the budgeted time at the project level. At our agency, it's more likely that we'd need to adjust the budgeted time at the task level though. I'd like to see the Resource Planner be more granular to allow for budgeting resources at the task level.
