You have to divide your issues in order to study them. One thing is how to deliver the form to your end-user, another is how your end-user sends you the information your require. The first one is a matter of thinking on how your process work, what you need to do and what format you have to deliver yor documents to your end-user.This is, you have to know where you start from (inicial information, do you need to pre-populate the form with dynamic or static data... and so on), where do you want to ge...

See if this is what you wanted. What i did: - The parent subform must be flowed and no positioned. - The type of document must be dynamic and no static (on the form porperties). - I changed the script to be on the click event instead of the initialize.Hope this helps.

You can use the binding type = global on those fields. That way whenever one is changed all are changed.

I cannot user your image either. If i convert it to another format (ex: jpg) it works fine. If i open it and save again (save bmp format) it works fine, but your image does not.The only difference between your orinal bmp and mine is the colour depth. Yours is 65K mine is 16.7M, but i don't see any difference.Anyway, the image is in the attach files section. As per the vectorial information, check out the 3D componentes of the 8.2 and up versions of livecycle, maybe they will do what you want.

Sure there is. Just eliminate the Margins of the HeaderRow subForm. As for what i did, i just created as second header with all you wanted to show on the headers when overflow and set the original header to appear only on the first page and the second header to appear on the overfowned table. To do this just select the 'header -> properties -> object -> pagination' and there you'll find the include this on xxxx page options.

You can use the print command, but i think you'll always print to the default printer.print Prints a specific number of pages from a document. It is available only for client applications.SyntaxReference_Syntax.print( BOOLEAN param1, INTEGER param2, INTEGER param3, BOOLEAN param4, BOOLEAN param5, BOOLEAN param6, BOOLEAN param7, BOOLEAN param8 )Parameters param1• true | 1 (JavaScript) or 1 (FormCalc) (default)Displays a print dialog box and prompts the user for printing setup information and conf...

What i meant is that the text you now have in your uneditable text field you will put in the caption of the editable field. And the editable part of this new field you will "hide" by puting the reverve property as close as possible to the width property of the entire field.See the attach file.

You can use: form1.subform1.tableForm.instanceManager.addInstance(true);Make sure your subform1 is flowed and that the tableForm as the "Repeat SubForm for Each Data Item" selected.

You can put a text field, put your text in the caption area and make the text input area width = 0. This might not be elegant but it will get the job done while keeping your layout unaltered.

On the properties tab of the signature field you have and option to lock fields after signing. You can either lock all, lock none or choose a collection of fields to lock or not to lock. Its pretty flexible. If you want your form to have multiple signatures and be used in reader 9 you'll have to use this property no prevent the locking of the other signature fields otherwise you won't be able to use multiple signatures (even if you certify the form first).

As far as i know you cannot sign non-reader extended PDF without Acrobat. Also you have to save a copy of your PDF when signing.I don't think you will be able to sign a PDF in the preview mode of the Designer. You sign them in Adobe without having to pass then through Reader Extensions.

We are developing a form that has it the 1.3Mb mark.As yours, it doesn't have repeating lines and the embeded images count for 150Kb.We made a few tests and, on-average, each subform we use (under the root element) takes almost 200Kb.It might be a bit much, but we have not found any way to work around this issue. If you find one, post it here please.

The only way o know of doing that is by using floating fields. But floating fields are only available on Text objects (not textfield or drop down). You can assign a diferent style to the floating field.

You could code it and simulate the scrolling effect, but it is a nightmare.XFA.forms weren't made to support this kind of coding and it will make you form very slow and extremely heavy (mem wise) in office/entry-level pcs.Basicly all you need is 2 buttons (up and down), a array to store the info of the table, marshing and unmarshing functions and the state managing information in order to control what is visible and what is not, but i would advise against this.Does Xfa.forms support this? No.Is ...

In that case you'll have to use the ProcessFormSubmission service that Livecycle:Forms ES suplies to extract the XML data structure from a XFA.Forms PDF.

Workbench provides you with some information (with is great, so you're no totally in the dark) through the literal values to each input parameter to each of the basic services LC gives you. Also, if you want to know what file meta...
