Hello,
Having worked in the analytics industry for years and reading the test prep, looks like I'm a good fit to go for the Target practitioner expert certification, however I wanted to ask if I should or just do the regular certification.
All I want now is to get a job related and start doing experimentation and I'm debating on a path of lowest friction to start working ASAP, or, is doing the expert level is better as would help stand out for opportunities?
Thanks and apologies if it's been asked before, didn't find it.

Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @rafaels69105856,
If you are from business side, want to be an Business or Solution Consultant - Expert Certi is enough
But if you are from technical side, want to deeply understand about solution, want to be an Adobe Architecture, or Technical Consultant or Architecture Consultant - You need Architect Master. Of course, it will be more difficult - but more competitve with higher salary
Details you can read here:
- Expert certi: https://certification.adobe.com/certification/target-business-practitioner-expert?%2Fcertification%2...
- Architect Master certi: https://certification.adobe.com/certification/target-architect-master?tab=certificate1
Hope this can help
Thanks,
Viet
Hi @rafaels69105856 ,
It's very great if you have the Adobe Target Expert Certification - Your profile will immediately stand out to others - This show your mindset relating to the Targeting, Testing & Experimentation, as well as Adobe Target tool deeply understanding - A big step to become Adobe Consultant
However, this certi is actually highlight you in Adobe Target specifically, it can help a lot if you apply to Adobe, or a client using Adobe product, or Adobe partners. If you apply to company using Salesforce or some other martech tool for example, this certi still help a lot, but the weight will be less
Hope this can help
Thanks,
Viet
Thanks so much Viet for confirming its best to go expert level as the solid option as I wouldn't like to certify and not find opportunities.
I should have brought up in the initial question, how about salary comparison and opportunities between Adobe Target Expert Certification and Adobe Target Architect Master?
Best,
Rafael

Thanks again Viet, I'm the kind of person that enjoys both, business and tech, but there are times that one needs to make a decision, looks like business expert for now, I can always transition.
