Body:Hello everyone,I’m encountering an issue with a Page Rule in Adobe Analytics. The rule is configured with:Event: OneTrustGroupsUpdated Action: Send BeaconHowever, I consistently receive the following error: Failed to execute "Send Beacon" for "Adobe : Page Rule" rule. A timeout occurred because the action took longer than 5 seconds to complete. Error: A timeout occurred because the action took longer than 5 seconds to complete. Since the rule only has the event and the beacon action, I’m unsure why it’s timing out.Has anyone else faced this issue, or do you know what could cause the beacon to exceed the 5-second limit? Any guidance on troubleshooting or optimizing this setup would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance! 

Hey there!After implementing the Web SDK guided events, CJA reporting and setup are impacted by decisioning.propositionFetch events. We currently have to exclude this event type via segments to align CJA with AA, but doing so breaks Session Starts and our Internal Domains logic. Impact in CJA (we are using raw AEP data, no Adobe Analytics Source Connector): Sessions / Page Views / Session Starts  With an event-level exclusion segment (eventType = decisioning.propositionFetch):  Sessions ≈ AA Visits  Page Views ≈ AA Page Views  Session Starts much lower than AA Entries  Without the exclusion segment:  Sessions and Session Starts are higher than AA  Page Views still align with AA  At a dimension level (e.g., Canonical URL, Marketing Channel), we sometimes see Sessions > Page Views, which should not occur  Root cause: decisioning.propositionFetch fires first, so CJA treats it as the session-start event. Excluding it via segment

Assuming I have an evar1 on my site which triggers on every product page to capture the color of  the product. And assuming I had 2 visits to my site. Let’s say that the evar1 is  a regular evar, expires on visit, allocation last touch, and assuming the following scenario:  Pages visited User A - Visit #1 product page 1- color = blue evar1 is set. value = blue proudct page 2 color = red evar1 is set. value  = red product page 3 color=green evar1 is set value = green home page evar1 is not set   Pages visited User B - Visit #1 home page evar1 is not set  product page 3 color=green evar1 is set value = green marketing page A evar1 is not set marketing page B evar1 is not set       Question:​​​​​s:based on the above, if i build a report like the one below, what should i see and why? evar1 visits evar1 instances page views unspecified       blue       green       red

Hi, I have published a new build for a staging library on Adobe Data Collection, but when I try an debug it I see that a build from last week continues to be loaded. I unpublished it, republished, updated all of the versions and nothing. What are the common explanations for this? Is there anything that we can do maybe on the hosting of the stage environment for example to fix it?

Hello everyone,With the upcoming migration from traditional classifications to Classification Sets in Adobe Analytics, I had a question regarding performance optimization.Previously, when using classifications, we had to create them separately for each report suite, even if the same variable existed across multiple report suites.With Classification Sets, we can now create a single classification set and apply it to multiple report suites, which simplifies governance and management.However, the official adobe documentation mentions two important points :• Processing time improved from ~72 hours to ~24 hours• Performance mainly depends on the number of unique key values, especially when combining variables from multiple report suites into a single classification set.ScenarioSuppose we have the same variable (for example an eVar) across 8 report suites.Instead of creating one classification set covering all 8 report suites, would it be better from a performance perspective to create: Two

What is the maximum value(integer) that can be passed in a numeric success event per hit? Is there a cap on the accumulated sum of a numeric event over time?

We discontinued supporting one of the website and even disabled the launch property build. But still some other unexpected(uncovered from collected data) websites sending the traffic to that report suite. As the other websites/current scripts it’s beyond our reach, we have no option to control the scripts itself. So is there a way to make the payloads fail at browser level for specific report suite from Admin or from Adobe, on report suite basis? Appreciate your inputs. Again, VISTA, BOTS, aborting the calls, invalidating s object doesn’t helps as we can’t access the scripts nor just exclude hits, we completely want to stop ANY/ALL calls to that report suite ID to avoid cost.​

Hello everyone,I'm trying to understand attribution models in CJA.I'm comparing two attribution models in a CJA workshop. I'm surprised to see that when I compare a last touch model versus an engagement model (both with 7-day attribution windows per person), when viewing the data in a graph, the engagement attribution model's trend returns data from 7 days prior to the range I'm analyzing, while in the last touch model, the data starts counting from the beginning of the analyzed time range.Both models attempt to analyze the beginning of a process for a specific campaign.Can anyone help me understand this?Thank you very much.  

I made a report in Workspace and noticed hits from Linux. I broke it down by User Agent and most of the traffic were from Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/130.0.0.0 Safari/537.3. It’s also interesting that the Bounce Rate from these visits are very high, 99%. Are these from bots? If so, is the best way to handle it by making a Processing Rule (in Admin)?  

In AA it is possible to resize multiple columns of metrics at the same time in freeform tables. However this nifty feature doesn’t work in CJA as far as I have found. Copilot gives this response:In Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), there is currently no feature that allows you to bulk‑resize multiple metric columns at once. Column width in Freeform Tables can only be adjusted manually, one column at a time, by dragging the column borders in the Workspace UI.Is this feature planned to reappear in CJA?

Anyone else notices that proportional column resizing is not working in the last day or too? Dragging the left hand column of a table used to resize all columns equally but this isn’t happing at the moment and now I’m having to resize each column separately. Is this a bug?

Classification rules are now available in classification sets.I created a new classification set and added a rule with a regex and I wonder if any of you can shed some light on the following observations.According to the status, my new rule was directly activated without me explicitly activating it. Even after deactivating and saving, it reverts back to active. Testing the new rule gives me error messages. First it says “You have unsaved changes to your rules. Please save your changes and try again.”, although I saved it and did not change anything. After clicking on “Save rules” (again) and clicking on “Test rule set” it unhelpfully says  “Failed to test ruleset. Please try again.”Are there known problems with saving/testing rules?

In the current A/B test (screenshot below), our team is perplexed as to why Experience B has the higher confidence rate while Experience A has the higher number of conversions. We are using Locate Dealer Search as our Segment, with our ultimate goal being the completion of a form on the dealer search page. Any input from experts on why/how conversions are measured? Did we structure the test correctly?  

After a promo email went out, we got a huge spike from Microsoft-based IPs. I believe we got about 300K UV in 4 hours, so it’s likely from their email scanners. This seems like an old problem that is popping up again in 2026. Does anyone have a way to mitigate reporting this traffic as UVs? We’re using Cloudflare, but they even bypassed that.

It is my understanding that Marketing Channels is a waterfall, and each Visit will fall into ONLY one Marketing Channel, from the Marketing Channel rules. All Mktg Channels have the override checked - EXCEPT for Direct and Session Refresh (Internal Referrers). Is there something that needs to be changed here so that the Processing Rules only allow 1 Last Touch Marketing Channel per visit?

My data has a dimension called ExpiryDate. I’ve created Date Ranges like “Upcoming 3 months”, “Upcoming 12 months”. I’d like to create a report showing the number of Customers whose expiry date will be in each of those date ranges. I’ve tried using a simple freeform table with ExpiryDate as the dimension and People metric filtered by Date Range, with unexpected results. In our local systems, we can query our source data accordingly. Any ideas how to approach this with a CJA project?Date Range People Customers with ExpiryDate in Upcoming 3 Months 10,000 Customers with ExpiryDate in Upcoming 12 Months 25,000  

I see this question asked several times over the past 10 years but not recently. Does Adobe Analytics have a built in or browser extension providing heatmap overlays per page? I’ve tried the “Activity Map” but can’t get it to work. Before I circle back with my enterprise admin, does anyone have a visual example of this working? We also use Quantum Metrics but their heatmapping is very buggy. It occurred to me that since it’s 2026 Adobe may have come up with their own way for users to quickly visualize consolidated user activity on a page in a visual format. Anyone seen this in action?I found this user’s DIY instructions and a few posts asking but getting 3rd party suggestions, but again, they are years old. Hoping for some progress toward a feature or a more reliable relationship with QM?  

Hi Folks, I am working on the Adobe Analytics implementation migration to Web SDK. My development team is currently implementing it, and we have some questions regarding the XDM object structure for the customMetadata that we send into the media session.In our current implementation, all the contextVariables that we send with pageview and action calls are also passed into the media session. The common set of Adobe processing rules maps these contextVariables to the analytics variables for both action & pageview calls as well as media analytics session calls.We have designed the XDM payload schema and would like to follow the same methodology as before: passing the complete XDM payload as customMetadata into the media analytics session. However, the media analytics custom metadata only supports variables of string type, and does not accept objects.Do you have any recommendations on how this should be handled so that the common set of processing rules can still work for the shared va

Hello AA / ARB Community - are Dependent Data Blocks not a thing in the new Adobe Report Builder?  I can only find very brief info about dependent data blocks for Legacy Report Builder.  Is there a new way to do this, or some new vocabulary around it? Thanks for reading and for any ideas.
