Adobe named to nine Constellation Research ShortList categories for digital transformation technologies by Adobe Abstract With the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, people across the globe have had to quickly pivot and adapt to new and different ways of learning, working, shopping, socializing and collaborating — accelerating the adoption of digital technologies in nearly every facet of our lives. Out of necessity, consumers are finally embracing digital experiences at scale — forcing businesses of all sizes, across every industry to adopt a digital-first mindset to stay competitive and thrive in these uncertain times. While the concept of being a digital business is nothing new — most organizations were already on this journey pre-COVID-19 — the pandemic simply forced organizations to prioritize going digital-first to get work done more effectively and efficiently. This, combined with increasing customer expectations for fast, frictionless and highly personalized experiences
Harmonizing work and asset management with Adobe Experience Manager Assets Essentials and Workfront by Adobe Abstract As companies accelerate to digital, they are seeing an increase in customer expectations for richer, personalized customer experiences. This requires companies to rethink their work and digital asset management processes and capabilities needed to deliver consistent and relevant content quickly. In an attempt to support this new way of working, companies inadvertently create a digital work crisis where functions and teams are disconnected, content is stale, inaccessible and trapped in silos, and work processes are analog. Instead of being empowered, employees end up wasting a lot of time on clumsy processes and searching for information. Digital commerce leaders face uncertainty this holiday season by Adobe Abstract COVID-19 isn’t done spoiling Fall plans, and now it’s casting a long shadow over the upcoming holiday season. Uncertainty around the course of the pandemic, supply chain interruptions, and shipping costs could all pose significant challenges as retailers ramp up for this year’s Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and beyond. But it’s not all bad news. Retailers have weathered this storm before — and learned valuable lessons. Since the pandemic began in 2020, numerous retailers have offered curbside pickup and buy online-pickup in-store (BOPIS) shopping options while expanding their ecommerce offerings. Retailers have also become more agile and have the knowledge and experience to quickly pivot in response to shutdowns and other safety restrictions. To help retailers prepare for another pandemic-era holiday season and capitalize on what they’ve learned so far, we’ve developed an ecommerce playbook for navigating
Future of AEM Communities by opsinventor Abstract I’ll give you the hook first, then the explanation of why it’s important: From everything I’ve been able to gather so far, AEM Communities is not being ported to the AEM Cloud Service, and at this point looks like a dead product which will not be getting further updates. Now here’s the back story, and why it matters. Remember the ye-olde term “Web 2.0“? Somebody said it in 2004 at an O’Reilly conference, and then name stuck: it implied the ability to use the web not only to consume content, but to interact with it in terms of social media, comments, ratings, uploads and other user-generated content. Fast forward to today, and social media is an entirely inextricable part of the Internet experience, even when it comes to traditionally non-interactive and “not-very-web-2.0” properties like marketing sites and corporate about-us pages. Truly-immersive experiences many times need to accommodate not just pushing content out, but allowing p
AEM Content Fragments: Content Structure by exadel Abstract Content Structure There are no restrictrictions where you can store content fragments in AEM. Originally, you would store them in /content/dam/site-com’ (the We Retail site has this type of structure, for example). This might be not handy if your site folder has a lot of subfolders, and having several folders for every language would create a mess. To create the language root, you create a folder and use an ISO language code as a name. The language code must be in one of the following formats: The supported language code is a two-letter code as defined by ISO-639-1 (like en). _ or - The supported country code is a lower-case or upper-case two-letter code as defined by ISO 3166, such as en_US, en_us, en_GB, en-gb. AEM will determine where the language root is automatically. You can have a separate folder for CFs just for your comfort. This approach might be particularly handy if you want to configure quick access to the CFs
De-Duplication in MarketoBy default, Marketo will dedupe new records by email address. If there already is a record in Marketo with the same email address, that record will be updated with the new information. If no matching email is found, a new record is created. If you set up a custom dupe rule, Marketo will match on email as primary key, and another field as a secondary key. For example, if you add Last Name as a secondary dupe field, Joe Smith (smithenterprises@comcast.net) will create a new record, even though Catherine Doe with the same email address is already in the database. This is because both email address and last name need to match to update the existing record. So if Joseph Smith (smithenterprises@comcast.net) is entered, the first name will be changed from Joe to Joseph, because both email and last name match. Custom dupe rules apply to list uploads, form submissions and to most API calls. It does not apply to the native CRM sync, which matches on CRM ID instead of ema
In Query Builder, you can refer to a node's child's property via */@jcr:title or its descendant's property via */*/@jcr:title.So you can create a search for a node, where the node has a given property and its child has a given propertyEx:type=cq:Pageproperty=*/@jcr:titlevalue=Great TitleThis will return the cq:Page node, where it's child node's jcr:title equal to Great TitleHowever, I am looking for a way to refer to parent's property or ancestor's property. How do I do that? and can I refer to parent node in fulltext.relPath?I tried the followingtype=cq:PageContentproperty=../@jcr:titlevalue=Great Title

Hi , I am facing one issue with sling model junit mock. Using Jolt as a Transformation Tool in AEM by Perficient Abstract One frequent use case most of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Full Stack Developers would have come across is migrating content from different applications into AEM. Data from source applications can come in various formats like JSON, XML, CSV, etc. When the source file format is JSON, in order to transform the source data to target structure, we need to write complex programs to read and parse it. In this blog, I will show you an efficient and configurable solution to this problem. I recently faced this challenge with one of our clients. They have a Solr service, in which the most recent information about their shops around the world is stored. I wanted to avoid calling that service every time we present that information in AEM. For this purpose, I decided to implement a daily batch process to get the data from the service and turn it into JCR nodes and properties. The problem was that the information is stored in

Text Pre-Extraction in AEM : Comprehensive Guide by Aemcq5tutorials Abstract Text pre-extraction in AEM is very useful and highly recommended for re/indexing Lucene indexes on repositories with large binaries that contain extractable text (eg. PDFs, Word Docs, PPTs, TXT, etc.). Running re-indexing directly on lucene indexes is very expensive and may cause performance issues. After completing this tutorial you will be able to understand:- Text pre-extraction overview. When to use text pre-extraction in AEM. When not to use text pre-extraction in AEM. Prerequisites for using text pre-extraction. Execute text pre-extraction. Validate OAK Index Consistency. Text Pre-extraction Overview Text pre-extraction is the process of extracting and processing text from binaries that contain extractable text (eg.
