I need expert input - we develop multipage court forms that on the last page have three buttons, Print, Save, and Clear. These buttons are in the footer of a master page. We have them set to Visible (Screen Only), but they show up in print. We don't want them to. Must we move them to content pages to achieve this? Thanks!
I've been on this forum for a few years now, and I've seen the level of activity ebb and flow. Sometimes we have a lot of activity, other times you can hear crickets. But one of the things that I've learned about improving a community is that you need all of the voices not just a few. So, I want to hear your thoughts - what do you want to see in this community? What draws you to it? What are you hoping to get out of it? What do you want to see more of? I think that we have a great thing here, the ability to connect with other experts from around the world, share ideas, tips and tricks, and learn something new. One of my favourite things is reading questions from others, seeing what kind of challenges different companies are facing. I'm drawn to this community because there are so many different opinions, people with different ways of doing things that can help you see a problem in a new light and find solutions.

RTCDP profile collapse due to shared devices represent some of the most complex challenges in the fields of Analytics and Personalization. Virtually every business leveraging digital platforms for personalization had to confront this issue at some stage. In simple terms, profile collapse occurs when two different users share the same device to browse a website—for example, family members at home or colleagues on a common office computer. Since both sessions generate the same ECID, the RTCDP identity graph links their profiles together. As a result, personalization content meant for one user may be incorrectly shown to the other. Here are a few examples of how profile mix-ups can lead to the wrong content being shown to users:A wife sees credit card offers meant for her husband. You start seeing hotel deals for a destination your colleague booked a flight to. Adobe has introduced few workarounds to address this challenge, though each comes with its own set of advantages and limitati
I have and AEM Designer built form. I can add row instances. What I need is in each row I want to include a check box and another button else where of the form. And when I click this button It will refer to checked boxes in rows and perform tasks such as delete that instance or include a new instance below etc. Do you have any idea how we can do that?

With another system outage/major access problems this morning, I'm going to start the conversation with our procurement team about how to get $$ back from Adobe given all the downtime and lost productivity that these problems have caused teams at my organization. I've been a system admin for Workfront for close to five years, and have never experienced as much inconsistency with access than I have in the last 6 months. Have others been successful in recuping money given actual down time being more than what the contract states we can tolerate?
In Workfront, the Templates we build for our teams tend to fall into two major categories. The first is the standard end-to-end workflow for every project type. These come pre-configured with many other settings/features to streamline creation and work management; standard folders, internal queue settings, custom forms etc. The second type of templates are setup as collections of ad-hoc tasks meant to be appended after a project is created for things that aren't done very often (custom legal approvals) or needed repetitively (extra client edit rounds). The second template has minimal additional features, expecting the project they'll be added into already including them. Inevitably, someone creates fully new projects from them by mistake, and this creates reporting discrepancies and trouble tickets later. I have long wished for a way to block creation of new projects from those templates, while still allowing the person to append the tasks when needed. With the implementa

Migration to the New Content Fragment Editor in AEMaaCS by @daniel-strmecki Introduction Content fragments (CF) in AEM allow authors to design, create, and publish page-independent content without visual design and/or layout. Therefore, authors can use them to prepare content that can be reused in multiple locations and channels, which is ideal for headless delivery or reuse across pages. The CF reference AEM core component enables simple referencing and using the CF data on a page, while GraphQL and/or REST APIs enable headless content delivery. The new CF editor was recently introduced by Adobe to enhance the authoring experience for structured content. It can be accessed from the new CF console and offers a few interesting new features: Tree navigation feature with a hierarchical view of the CFs structure to allow authors to easily navigate and edit CFs efficiently Improved authoring interface with features such as auto-save and breadcrumbs for navigating ba

Snippets are still available in the current editor but cannot be used in the new experience. Q: How do fragments differ from snippets? A: Not at this point Q: How do I add editable fields? A: Editable fields are part of customizable fragments. Q: How can I see if our instance has been migrated already to IMS?A: If you are logging to your Marketo instance from experience.adobe.com then your instance is migrated Q: Can em

After purchasing Adobe’s Digital Asset Management solution, metadata is the most critical aspect while starting your asset management journey. Managing metadata gets completely out of the control of the administrators once the assets are distributed to the users. Effective asset metadata ensures better search, which is the ultimate destination for any DAM tool. Here are the recommended steps that you must execute before starting to migrate your assets to AEM: Step 1: How would you filter the assets that exist in the repository? Answer this question and create the list of fields that you need.Think about your users on how they will search assets that exist in the repository and then work backward to create such properties for your assets. Step 2: Revisit all existing properties and eliminate redundant onesLook for properties that seem irrelevant or duplicates of the existing properties and remove them from the list of required properties for Adobe’s DAM. Step 3: Segregate the properties

You see a series of Unsubscribe Email activities, roughly 5 minutes apart, covering more or less all the emails someone received: Each one’s Details show they used the List-Unsubscribe header: Turns out that’s standard behavior of the newish Manage Subscriptions feature in consumer Gmail. When you go to Manage Subscriptions, Gmail shows you addresses that’ve sent enough marketing email to be trusted, which it then considers a “Subscription”: Clicking on a Subscription shows emails from that sender that are still in your mailbox: If you click Unsubscribe on the Subscriptions tab, Gmail visits all the List-Unsubscribe URLs in sequence, waiting 5 minutes between URLs to ensure it doesn’t exceed rate limits. This is mentioned, in a dumbed-down way, in the docs: Since every Marketo email has a unique List-Unsubscribe header — if it didn’t, we couldn’t track Unsubscribe Email at the asset level! — all emails are individually unsubscribed. This
Feels weird to be writing about this at such a late date, but there’s misinformation going around, perhaps AI-influenced. The spur for this post was the erroneous claim that Marketo Forms 2.0 uses REST API names as Form Field names. That is, if the REST API name is email the corresponding form field is <input name="email">. That’s clearly untrue, as you can see by inspecting the HTML of a basic form: But even the response I gave on the Nation — No, it uses the SOAP API name — isn’t true 100.00% of the time. Don’t get me wrong: it’s true enough to get you through 99.99% of scenarios, and infinitely true-er than the false claim about the REST API name. It’s certainly true for the system field that holds the lead’s email address, i.e. the one with the default Friendly Name Email. (Knowing all the different names a field can have makes it harder to refer to fields, right? We usually choose the Friendly Name, even if that one can change over time!) &nbs

I have a requirement for creating multiple renditions for asset on upload. Hence, I have modified the OOTB DAM Update Asset Workflow to create multiple web renditions. The workflow runs fine on the assets. I was trying to use AEM ACS Commons Bulk Workflow Manger to run the workflow on the existing assets which are in millions. The issue I am facing is while using the Bulk Workflow Manager, selecting Bulk Workflow Runner > AEM Workflow, the renditions gets created properly. Whereas on selecting Bulk Workflow Manager > Synthetic (Single Threaded) or Synthetic (Multiple Threaded), the renditions doesn't get created properly although the Workflow execution is completed for all the assets. To replicate the issue:AEM Version: 6.5.20ACS AEM Commons: 6.2.0 / 6.5.0 (Tested with both versions) 1. Add web rendition creation step in DAM Update Workflow2. Make the DAM Update Workflow as NON-TRANSIENT (To have the logs track on workflow execution)2. Use ACS AEM Commons, Bulk Workflow
How to Automate AEM Offline Revision Cleanupby @giuseppebaglio Dear AEM Community, I'd like to share my recently published article exploring how to transform the critical but tedious process of AEM Offline Revision Cleanup into an automated, one-command operation. IntroductionAEM's Oak repository eventually suffers from performance issues as unused data accumulates. My article presents a Bash script that transforms the tedious manual cleanup process into a single-command operation with built-in safety checks. This automation approach not only saves time but also reduces human error risk during critical maintenance operations. Key Points- A powerful Bash script that automates AEM Offline Revision Cleanup with built-in safety checks.- More than just a wrapper for oak-run.jar—it includes pre-flight checks, path validation, interactive prompts, and atomic operations.- Features robust argument parsing, a streamlined Oak command engine, and safegua
