Hello! I have a user that accesses a report to assign work to his design team. The report has several projects and a column where he types starts to type the designer's name, the designer can be selected, and the team can access the report to see what projects they need to work on. Today, he's been unable to type anything for a couple of projects and I can't figure out why. I've added two screenshots, one shows a selected project with a small box in the Approval Assignments column visible where he can type a name. The other screenshot shows a different project highlighted where the box to enter a name isn't visible since he's unable to type anything. Other users, myself included, are not having any issues typing names in that column on any of the projects. Any ideas on what's going on? Thanks!
In reviewing the Q4 Update documentation, I came across the new look for requests in preview. I can still see the old request page, but there is an option to "Use New Experience." The new requests page removes the option to change the Requests page layout. We have a Requests management report for users to track their requests that is very customized to our workflows. The new Requests page doesn't really meet our workflow needs and will seem confusing to our users. From the documentation, new Requests seems to only be available for unified experience instances after the Q4 update. Our production instance is not on unified experience, but our non-productions instances are on unified experience. We don't have Planning now, but the documentation relates that the Request page change is an attempt to bring Workfront Planning and Workfront Requests together. Will the new Requests page be mandatory at some point? Will the "Use New Experience" option be available to my non-unified experience prod
In this post, I'm going to provide an Adobe Analytics implementation-based solution that will allow you to apply a non-standard attribution (i.e., Attribution IQ-based) model to common metrics like Page Views, Visits, and Occurrences. The ProblemTo demonstrate the need for this solution, let me start off by creating a simple Marketing Channel report. I have added some common metrics to this report, including "Visits", "Page Views", "Orders", and "Revenue". The result – using real-world data in this example – looks something like this:If I wanted to apply a non-standard attribution model – say, "Last Touch with a Lookback Window of 30 Days", for instance – to all of these metrics, I would be mostly out of luck. Applying a non-standard model to the Orders and Revenue metrics works just fine, as the following result shows……but trying to apply the model to either the Visits or Page Views metric presents an unwelcome surprise: when I'm presented with the

The Forms 2.0 lightbox() method is fully functional, but commonly misused.[1] I’ve had a post in my drafts for ages — “Tips for a smoother lightbox() experience” — but in the meantime lightbox() has become unnecessary because all modern browsers support <dialog>. IMO, the coolest things about <dialog> are: its built-in responsiveness: desktop and mobile browsers automatically position the modal correctly its native controls: the Escape key and back-swipe both close the dialog its easy styling: transform ::backdrop with any CSS properties Secondarily, <dialog> minimizes the need for JavaScript. The JS in this post is only necessary because Safari doesn’t support Invoker Commands yet. In Chrome and Firefox, you can close and open the modal using HTML alone, no extra JS! Here’s a modal Marketo form inside a <dialog>: The markup is amazingly simple, just put the standard form embed inside a <dialog> and add a close <button&g
Hello AEM Community,I'm working on a component dialog in AEM where a dropdown drives visibility of field containers using a custom JS-based show/hide logic that supports multiple values per target. Goal / Functionality:A select dropdown has 4 options: Images, Articles, Posts, and VideosImages, Articles, and Posts share a common image upload fieldVideos shows a separate video path and poster fieldBoth single and multifield dropdowns are supportedValidation is handled properly — hidden required fields are not submitted, and visible fields are validated correctly Issue:While the custom JS handles visibility and validation well for the video path field, I’ve noticed that the image field (used in the shared container) allows submission even when required and empty.Oddly enough, the video path field is correctly validated. Dialog XML Snippet:xmlCopyEdit<tabjcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"sling:resourceType="granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/select"fieldLabel="Sel
Introduction As artificial intelligence technologies continue to gain widespread adoption across various digital platforms and channels, developing an understanding of how Large Language Model (LLM) and AI-generated traffic influences and shapes your analytics data has evolved from being merely important to absolutely essential. Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) provides capabilities designed specifically to help organizations identify, segment, and analyze this unique category of traffic. These powerful features enable data professionals to not only maintain the highest standards of data integrity in an increasingly AI-driven digital landscape, but also to extract valuable, actionable insights into the specific ways that LLMs and AI systems interact with and navigate through your digital properties and assets. In this guide, we will explore approaches to handling LLM and AI traffic in CJA using derived fields and CJA reporting methods, covering implementation across web, app, a
If you have migrated to the new Marketo IMS (Identity Management), you may have started to notice something: Many new features are getting unlocked to you as an admin user. I am certain that you, like me, are excited about some of these new features we are seeing from Adobe that are making our lives as admins and marketers easier. One of these features that has been unlocked is a “Merge Fields” feature. When I first discovered this new Merge Fields feature, I became instantly excited because one of the issues that we have had as Marketo Engage Admins is with duplicate and/or extraneous fields. Duplicate fields can result from a number of sources, such as errant Salesforce field setup, lax Salesforce admin field level security settings (many of which are unnecessary and can cause sync backlog issues), bespoke field additions, or fields created for prior use cases that are no longer needed. Prior to this feature being launched, we faced

Hi All, I have a use case for executing sling jobs only on one of the publish instance (I want this to run only once). But it looks like the job is getting completed on all the publish instances, i.e., twice. In Sling Job I do not see an option for running it on CLUSTER like how we have in Scheduler. Any pointers? @Component( immediate = true, service = JobConsumer.class, property = { JobConsumer.PROPERTY_TOPICS + "=aem/something" })@Designate(ocd = ReportGenerationConfig.class)public class ReportGenerationJobConsumer implements JobConsumer { // Some code} Thanks, Asutosh
As implementer or Workfront admin, have might have come across an ask that that you just can't realize in core Workfront. For example, you can't display the Documents of all child projects at the Program level (you see the files attached to the specific program). Sometimes WF Reporting just doesn't offer what you'd need. Here's a way to leverage Fusion to create an external page that can be accessed in a WF custom dashboard. With this approach you could implement the "impossible" asks. [Apologies in advance: This will feel like web tech from ~2000] This is not something I invented - and it was the examples I saw from my colleagues at IBM iX that got me thinking. There were a handful of cases where I wanted a tool that pulled data from the Workfront API and presented it to me visually instead of just the raw API output. After tinkering with this I ended up with an approach I keep coming back to. It emulates what an app server might do (receive a request, look up some da
If a workspace project has been permanently deleted, how can it be possible to bring it back?? The truth is that when you hit 'delete' Adobe doesn't seem to actually delete the workspace project(!) - they just remove all links to the workspace making it impossible to navigate to. So, if you know how to navigate back to the workspace the good news is, it's still sitting there waiting for you. How do I navigate back to the workspace? The URL of workspace projects follow a standard format. While you are in a workspace project you can see a long alpha-numeric string at the end of the URL (Highlighted in yellow below). This is the unique ID for the project you are viewing. If you know what the project ID is for the project you want to restore, you can simply: navigate to one of your other projects replace the project ID in the URL and load the page (Your deleted project will appear) Save the project - your project has now been restored! But how on earth am I goin

I recently used WF Data connect and setup a reader account on Snowflake. We are making an API call to the snowflake tables to get Custom project data. The problem we are facing is that the changes we do on custom form dropdown options do net get retroactively updated on the snowflake table. For e.g. on the project level, there is a Custom dropdown field "Region" with the following dropdown options - "APAC" , "EMEA", "Americas"Let's say we changed the option "APAC" to "APAC and NZ". In Workfront, this will mean that all the projects with the option "APAC" selected will update to "APAC and NZ" automatically. However, the snowflake table does not consider this change and reflects "APAC" for any projects where this field was filled prior to the change. Am I missing something? - Rowvill
I would be curious to hear everyone's journey on setting up an effective Workfront Planning workspace(s) and record types for their specific use case. Type in :Use case - Basically why and how are you using Workfront Planning.Limitations - What are some limitations of Workfront Planning that are causing heartburn.
So, I logged into Workfront this morning and I was greeted to this:Oh wait, sorry, that wasn't it. It looked more like this:Now. We have begged Adobe, through our TAM, our CSM, and other acronyms to stop sending surveys to our users. And this one...I'm really hoping it only went to admins. I took the survey only so I could get to the end so I could say "STOP SENDING OUR USERS SURVEYS."The questions had NOTHING to do with a typical user's day-to-day use of the tool. It had more to do with config and the like. Is there any way to know the scope of this pointless survey? I pray that it was only sent to sysadmins...but similar surveys have been sent out to our entire user base in the past. The typical response is that your marketing department needs this data. I'm sorry, but no. If you really want to run surveys, it should NOT be within the tool that my company pays a huge amount of money to use. And if you're sending a survey to everyone, the data is going to be garbage. And
Hi All, I am working on a use case where I need to form the path of the work item instance path and share it on the email, so that the user can just click on the workitem path and go to the workitem path directly. But I am not able to form the correct path. I tried using the workitem.getId(), but received a temporary path with VolatileNode in it which does not exist in AEM repository. Any leads to correctly get the workinstance path ?

Why am I seeing discrepancies when summing visits and unique visitors? It is important to be very careful when summing visits and unique visitors. While doing this - in excel, calculated metrics, or totals in Workspace - keep in mind that - One visit can consist of multiple pages. Example 1: The Warning: A report with Pages as the dimension and Visits as the metric should not be summed. Why: This is because 1 visit could include the home
