Thank you to all those who joined today's first-ever Adobe Workfront Industry Circle for Higher Education (especially Kat for sharing how Penn State University utilizes Workfront across varied departments and use cases)! Based on the feedback you shared, I wanted to start up a discussion post here on the Experience League Community so you have a dedicated space to connect, network, and collaborate with other Workfront Admins in Higher Ed. Everyone is encouraged to post questions, brainstorm solutions, and share your tried-and-true best practices. I'd recommend bookmarking this post so you can easily navigate back to it, or posting a comment/best practice so you are notified each time there is a new post. If there are topics of discussion that are gaining popularity, I can always add them to an upcoming agenda and will be sure to notify everyone when the next Higher Ed Industry Circle is published. Happy Chatting!
Use this thread to ask any questions related to the Experience League LIVE session titled, "Use Case Playbooks, self-serve templates to deploy use cases in a few clicks." We will add/answer questions below that were asked in the livestream and we didn't have time to answer live. Experts are monitoring this thread to ensure your questions are answered. Thanks and we hope to hear from you!
Hi Everyone, We have an intake form and for some reason all requests entered on 1/31 didn't show up in any of our dashboards or views until yesterday. I'm just wondering if anyone was aware of any sort of Workfont issue that might have caused this and if so, is it common? This request form is for ultra-fast turnaround projects and I'm worried that if this is the correct platform for capturing requests. I'm checking with my IT department as well but thought I'd ask here in case it's on the Workfront side. Thanks!
i'm currently working on the Proof of concept to store AEM multimedia files in the client browser using indexdb . is there Anyone already tried??

As if the rules for HTML email weren’t complex enough, sometimes the exact same color needs to be represented in 2 different ways for different mail clients. Rather than having 2 different variables for #A1B2C3 and rgba(161,178,195,.5) and remembering to keep them exactly in sync, you can populate just one and seamlessly convert it to the other using Velocity. Here are two Velocimacros, #hexToRGB_v1 and #rgbToHex_v1: #macro( hexToRGB_v1 $hexColor $opacity) #set( $Integer = 0 ) #set( $hexValues = $hexColor.replaceAll("[${esc.h} ]","").split("(?<=\G..)") ) #set( $intValues = [] ) #foreach( $color in $hexValues ) #set( $void = $intValues.add( $Integer.parseInt($color,16) ) ) #end #if( !$opacity ) #set( $rgb = "rgb(" + $display.list($intValues,",") + ")" ) ${rgb}## #else #set( $rgba = "rgba(" + $display.list($intValues,",") + "," + $opacity + ")" ) ${rgba}## #end #end #macro( rgbToHex_v1 $rgbColor ) #set( $intValues = $r
Hello All, It has been a while since I have shared some articles with the Forms Community. Here is a very common and simple use case for customers who are using On-prem AEM forms or AEM forms CS. Rule editor: Allows you to define business rules for your forms without the need for extensive programming.Use the Rule Editor when you need to implement conditional logic within your forms. This includes showing or hiding form elements, altering field values based on certain conditions, or dynamically changing the behavior of your forms.When you want to enforce data validation rules on form submissions, the Rule Editor can be used to define validation conditionsWhen you need to integrate your forms with external data sources(FDM) or services, the Rule Editor can help define rules for fetching, displaying, or manipulating data during form interactions. If you want to create dynamic and interactive forms that respond to user actions, the Rule Editor allows you to
Context is necessary for understanding. Understanding is a process that encompasses three fundamental elements: content, context, and the vehicle. The content represents the information, ideas, or messages being conveyed—the core substance of the communication. However, the interpretation of this content is profoundly influenced by the context in which it is presented. Context involves the broader setting, encompassing social, cultural, and situational factors that contribute to the meaning of the message. A third element is the vehicle, which serves as the means through which the content is transmitted—whether it be spoken words, written text, Excel grids, visualizations, power points, or other forms. These elements significantly impact how your message is received and understood. In this discussion, we will look at one aspect of context that is specific to metrics. If you have been in marketing for any length of time, you know a number presented in isolation lacks meaning.

Hi, We manage projects which have to be approved by multiple product management teams inside a department. In general all projects can be viewed by the department (Group). During the approval, the teams are added to the approval path and only one team member has to approve the project. Project 1 - Team 1 Project 2 - Team 2 - Team 3 Project 3 - Team 1 - Team 3 A user can be in multiple product management teams, which handle a subset of product. User 1 -Team 1 User 2 -Team 2 -Team 3 User 2 -Team 1 -Team 3 We need create a report which shows all the projects which were approved by user or other team members. => Basically: Show me all the approved projects based on the team membership. User 1 - sees all approved projects by Team 1 User 2 - sees all approved projects by Team 2 and 3 User 3 - sees all approved projects by Team 1 and 3 Basically the report would show the following projects to the individual users:

hi, I am trying to use the vault "vlt rcp" remote copy command to sync /content/cq:tags between two different author instances. One in DEV (origin) and another PROD (destination - AEM CLOUD author). The command actually works between two different DEV authors. The problem is when trying to sync to PROD. I get this error: [WARN ] Authentication required to access repository descriptors[ERROR] rcp: javax.jcr.RepositoryException: Could not log into destination repository https://******:******@author-1234.adobeaemcloud.com/crx/server/-/jcr:root/content/cq%3atags caused by: javax.jcr.nodetype.ConstraintViolationException: Method Not Allowed caused by: org.apache.jackrabbit.webdav.DavException: Method Not Allowed I am assuming the AEM Cloud production author instance has additional security restrictions that is blocking me. The credentials I created in PROD is verified to work, so that is not the issue. The issue could be the WEBDAV in production cloud blocks any co
Most of us, to one degree or another, send “email blasts” (or “sends” or “communications”) as a regular tactic in demand marketing. Email can fit a variety of use cases as a standalone channel, including:Supporting awareness within your customer base of a new product launchA regular newsletter to inform audiences on various stages of the customer journey. A soft-offer or a hard-offer included in a customer nurturing sequence.An invitation to register for a large event or a key customer webinar. These are just a few of the use cases where email, as a channel in-and-of-itself, is used within demand operations. As a programmatic channel and not just as a “tactic” in Marketo Engage, most of us want to track not only the standard email engagement metrics (delivery, open, clicks) but also the key metric of “success,” or “did this person do what we asked of them in the communication?” This success criteria may include:Downloading and consuming a key eBook.Watching
Hello Community! Could someone explain to me how iterations work in Workfront? Is it for projects or tasks? and if we add say Sprints/Phases phase-1 ( add XXX scope), Phase-2 ( add YYY scope) and then how can we assign milestone path and apply? As of right now I can only apply milestone path GO LIVE once to one task. How are you guys using iterations and would you guys have any recommendations for using iterations for sprints/phases? I would like to be able to see if I can assign scope1 and scope2 GO LIVE dates with GO LIVE Milestone path. Essentially I would like to know how you are guys are assigning the same milestone to more than one task.
