Campaign Classic v7 & Campaign v8

Hi Adobe Community, I've have been attempting to use the 'sqlGetString' function available within the Adobe Campaign Classic API to test whether a value exists (and return it) within the recipient table. Unfortunately I seem unable to get it to work. Below is the Javascript function as it stands: function checkIfValueExists(str){ try { var val = sqlGetString("SELECT sText2 From NmsRecipient WHERE sText2 = $(sz) LIMIT 1", str); return val.toString(); } catch (e){ return e.toString(); } }   If I change the SQL query to: var val = sqlGetString("SELECT sText2 From NmsRecipient WHERE sText2 = 'ETFX2K' LIMIT 1", str); I seem to the error: 'Error: SCR-160021 Function 'sqlGetString': too many arguments (2 instead of 1).' According to the documentation found here, it should accept two parameters. Maybe i'm going wrong somewhere within my SQL syntax. Would you know what might be causing this? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi,  I'm trying to regroup data coming from an external file on a same row using a unique ID.  As you can see, in the file I could have 2 or more unique ID on different rows with different products, price and quantity but with the same total amount. How can I regroup those ID on the same row but with many product/price/quantity as row for the same ID ?I try something like that but it doesn't works : The final idea is to personalize an email for one customer with either product1 / quantity1 / price1 and if it's the case product2 / quantity2 / price 2, and so on using targetData and conditionnal content (if, else if, ...) Hoping someone will be able to help me.  Thanks,GB P.S: Sorry for my poor English !

I'm using a function to display the total population and the data schema, but I'd like to also use a function to give the approver the EFF_DT of the population. Effective date identifies which population of the table we are using. Can this be done? What function could I use? Jordan

Hi, I want to extract email value from email header parameter (which is xml object) from broadLogRcp(deliveries) in my workflow. Any insight/sample code would be highly appreciated. Example : I want to extract user's email from "email header parameters" from broadLogRcp schema just to know who are all useds were targeted and an email sent out to them. Currently user's email in email header parameter is in XML object format so directly we can get the value so I am trying to write one JavaSCript code for the same, so need help to find a solution around this. appreciate your time on this.Looking forward...-CSLTgupta

Hello, I'm having an issue with a csv file extraction. The need is to have it encoded in UTF8 but ACC adds the byte order mark at the begining of the file. Any idea how to get simple UTF8 extraction or remove the BOM please ? Thank you.

Hello all, I have a workflow with a Java Script task that queries and retrieves a set of products from a custom schema, those products are selected based on specific properties for each recipient, so I have a custom content block with the HTML template where the products info will be filled, the question is, how can I pass those objects from the JS task to the content block? I would like to say the complete email body is build in AEM.

Just wanted to ask if Adobe has some out of box API's to create html contents or automatically create delivery templates or lists in emails etc., does this functionality supports in Adobe campaign classic. 

Hi Is it possible to use tracking for URL's in Android and iOS push messages? I checked and it does not seem to be working. I can see Open action, but cannot see any button clicks and the URL's in the context are not replaced with tracking server URL's.  Is there any way to enable it? The tracking it self is enabled in the delivery template.

We're not sure what happened, but we are missing a couple of nms schema files (nms:namespaces is one of them).I do have the xml for it, but AC won't let me import nms/out-of-the-box files. Is there a way around getting it back? 🙂

Hi. Does anyone know the Cloudmark error codes equivalents for ACC? In Adobe's delivery log they appear like this: 'Momen_Code50_MailBlock', 'Momen_Code51_SpamBlock' and 'Momen_Code52SpamContent'. I want to match them up for mitigating them on the Cloudmark CSI IP Reputation Remediation Portal. Cloudmark is looking for something like this: smtp;550 Invalid recipient.

Hey, I'm working through understanding typologies in Adobe Campaign Classic.  We have 1 typology set which delivers our typology rules over all of our offer spaces.  I am attempting to understand the difference between a Standard Typology and a Filtering Typology.   We currently have our rule set to Standard, and none of our typologies work.  I've got an Offer Presentation Typology Rule assigned to the Standard Typology Set and the Presentation Rules for the Environment are set to feed from the Standard Typology Set.     Can anyone help me understand the difference between a Standard Typology Set and a Filtering Typology Set?  

Hi Team,I found a strange thing, when use Data Loading(RDBMS) activity to load external database data, but When named a big letter table name, the activity configure can not show the column, but it can be done when table name is small letter. 

I'm facing an error while accessing the ontent from AEM in ACC. Attached is the screenshot. While the connectivity is established, I'm unable to fetch the content into delivery. Basically the content leisted from AEM is having absolute path (http://xxxx.com/content/campaign etc) while i think the relative path is only expected. As a result the original path is also getting appended and is throwing the error. Any help to fix this please.Note: I've all the required changes in the serverConf.xml for urlpermission of the domain, still didnt help.

Hello, I am using the script from the A/B documentation however when I run the workflow the wait activity doesn't actually wait.  Once I approve the A and B test email templates from the dashboard the wait activity doesn't wait and the java selects the winner before an email is opened/clicked.  I ran a test in two different workflows under the same campaign, could that be the issue since they share a dashboard?

Hi Folks,  My task is to send emails through API methods which are available in adobe campaign classic.  I am pulling records from query activity and the next i am placing a javascript node and calling the method :  logInfo(NLWS.nmsDelivery.SubmitDelivery("prdDM30931",""); where prdDM30931 is the delivery template name which i created manually.  this is the method declaration given in documentation. Number deliveryId = SubmitDelivery ( String scenarioName, XML content )so i assume something has to be given in 'XML content' section but there is no clear notes what to give there.  my workflow looks like this :   i have given a sample xml like the below :  NLWS.nmsDelivery.SubmitDelivery("prdDM30931",<delivery><targets><deliveryTarget><targetPart type='query' exclusion='false' ignoreDeleteStatus='false'><where><condition expr={'@id ='+ ctx.recipient.@id}/&gt

We have created a custom html rendering function for offers.Links in the rendered html does for some reason not get tracked (neither click tracking nor proposition tracking). The offer html is injected in an email using content manager. Other links in the email are tracked.When we inject offer html as "unrendered" raw html the links get tracked. The reason for the custom html rendering is usability for the marketing staff managing the offers.Fields are presented in the offer in a similair way as the content manager and the rendering function will make the html into the same structure used in the content manager. Notable is that if a link is edited into a text in the offer (ie written manually as <a href="...) then that link is getting tracked. But the rendered links on image and button are not getting tracked.  After some research and testing it seems like the tracking does not work when run through a function that adds utm properties to the link.
