Adobe Workfront Fusion

Hi everyone,I'm using Workfront Fusion with the Adobe User Management connector to create and update Federated ID users.I can update fields like first name, last name, and email, but I also need to set the user's language/locale automatically.I don't see a Language or Locale field in the Adobe User Management Update a User module.I also tried the Adobe User Management API, but I couldn't find a supported language or locale field in the user update request.Has anyone been able to update a user's Adobe/Workfront UI language through Fusion or another Adobe API/module?If so, what module or API endpoint did you use? Thanks!

Hello! Anyone have recommendations for Fusion training for someone who has zero technical experience? Any resources, YouTube channels, or guides that you recommend? For context, I taught myself the basics of Fusion out of necessity and it was very ugly.We may be looking to add to our team in the near future and I would like something more in-depth or more use case/providing examples of when you would use what functionality, etc. Thanks!KP

Hi, I am doing a POC where I am connecting my Trial Salesforce Account with Adobe Fusion. I am using latest PKCE feature in Fusion to connect with Salesforce.Reason is:Salesforce latest API version enabled PKCE by default for all Oauth requests and it is grayed out so we can’t change it. Older connected apps will work without any issue but newly created app will not work with PKCE settings. If we want to disabled this feature we need to conenct with Salesforce Customer support serice. After creating Salesforce External Client app will all required settings and callback URL. I am getting below error:{"detail":"Connection failed.","message":"The request failed due to failure of a previous request.","code":"SC424","statusCode":424,"suberrors":[{"message":"Function 'randomBytes' not found!","name":"IMLError"}]}If anyone has any idea about this issue please let me know. Please remember it is happening with a newly created Salesforce App not the older or existing app. Thanks!

Hi All, I wanted to know if anyone has attempted to make a Proof HQ api call in order to remove/close out an active approval process?   Looking for a way to close out outstanding proof approvals on projects that should be closed.

I have a Fusion scenario that creates a Workfront project from a CSV file emailed to a request queue. Some emails also include supporting files that must currently be added to the project manually. I want the scenario to automatically upload these files to the project’s Documents folder. The scenario can distinguish the CSV used to create the project from the supporting files by their extensions. How can I ensure it processes the CSV first, waits for the project to be created, and then uploads the remaining attachments? Can the scenario loop through the attachments twice, or temporarily store the supporting files until the project is available?Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.Frank

Hi!Looking for some help here. :) I watched a Adobe video a while back that someone shared how they use AI to help document the Fusion scenario by using exported JSON file and prompt the AI to fill a template out. Back then, our team hasn’t started the automation yet. (I should’ve bookmarked it.) Now that we start to leverage Fusion, I want to capture proper documentation but can’t find the video anymore. Does some know which video that is or have something they can share on this topic?Thank you in advance for any of your sharing!

Hi,what module do you use in Fusion to get a decision when it’s made on a new Unified Review & Approval document? I cannot find it in a regular Workfront Watch Events module nor in the dedicated Unified Review & Approval module. Thanks!

I am attempting to search the system for any Updates/Notes that contain a certain hyperlink. When I run a Note report in Workfront, or do a search in Fusion, I am getting no results. How can I achieve searching for hyperlinks posted on Notes?

Is there a way within fusion to check if a field is displayed or visible to a user?   Scenario:  Field 1 = “No”Field 2 has display logic if Field 1 = YesResult = Field 2 visible = false Looking for fusion to verify if display logic is showing or not.

We have a Fusion Scenario Watch Event module that filters in projects based on the category ID. We have recently discovered that, because the filter is set as “CategoryID Equal”, it’s only pulling in projects where that custom form is the first one on the project.  Since the relevant custom form is not always listed first on projects, is there a way to update this filter to look through all of the custom forms on a project instead of just the first one? I’m not too well versed in Fusion but am not finding an option to manually change it to something like “CategoryID Exists”.

I’m currently trying to create a fusion scenario to map the Workfront Core project status to a Planning record’s status field so there is more parity between the two objects. I’m running into this very odd issue where for some Planning Workspaces I am able to successfully map the status but in other workspaces I can’t. I’m an Admin and the owner of all workspaces so I don’t think it’s an issue with permissions but given how complicated Planning sharing is I haven’t fully ruled that out.The fusion scenario throws no obvious errors and appears to execute successfully, however in the output bundle I get is below, and I know the record ID it’s saying doesn’t match does exist:  { "body": { "data": { "status": "failed", "total": 1, "succeeded": 0, "failed": 1, "requestId": "[Request ID redacted for privacy]", "results": [ { "requestIndex": 0,

Hi Team,I’m working on a use case where I need to trigger a Workfront Fusion flow when a Smart Campaign is run/activated in Marketo. The requirement is:When a Smart Campaign is activated/run in Marketo, the Fusion flow should be triggered. The flow should check whether the Communication Limit option is unchecked for that campaign. If the Communication Limit is unchecked, the Fusion flow should proceed and send the email. If the Communication Limit is checked, the flow should not send the email. Is there any way to trigger a Workfront Fusion flow when a Marketo Smart Campaign is activated/run? Also, is there a Marketo REST API that can return the Communication Limit setting for a Smart Campaign?Any guidance or recommended approach would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Fusion Community,Does anyone know if there is an API endpoint or other function in Fusion that will allow me to bulk export proofs that include the proof images with comments and markups visible?I know on the frontend of Workfront you can use the Print option when in a proof and this accomplishes my ask, but I have thousands of proofs to export and need to do this in bulk. Thanks,Nick

I am trying to fetch the last update date(Activity Date) for any updates done by the project owner in a Project by building an Automation in Fusion. I am using Journal Entry to get the activity date by the Project Owner. However I am not very sure how to get the last update date. The module which I have currently built is returning the first update date(Entry Date) for the Journal Entry by the Project owner. Can you help me how to sort the Entry date by descending order as I am not getting the Option in the Fusion interface to sort the Entry date.

Hi Team, I'm working on a usecase where I need to create a Interactive Proof for a Web URL and need some ideas and suggestion on how to achieve this. I have a field attached to an object(TASK) where we will enter the URL of the webpage that needs to be proofed and I need to develop the fusion scenario that will automate Interactive Proof for that URL entered. Any suggestions and ideas are appreciated. Thanks for your time!!!

I have built out a scenario in Fusion and I can fetch and read the note/update and notify those not tagged. But, I would like to update the note/update to add tags. I’m able to create a new note/update that will add tags but I don’t want to create a new one I just want to update the original with tags.Is this possible?Thank you in advance for your insight.

We're using the Workfront - Convert Approved Issue to Project template and trying to determine the best architecture in Fusion. We have:1 Request Queue 9 Request Forms 30+ Project TemplatesEach request form should map to the appropriate project template(s) when the issue is converted to a project.Would you recommend:One scenario with filters/routers/switches to determine the correct template? Multiple scenarios dedicated to each request form?Looking for insights on what is easiest to maintain and scale over time. Thank you!

Hi everyone,I'm exploring a Fusion use case and would love to hear if anyone has tackled something similar. When creating a proof, users often enter important instructions in Email Notification → Add Custom Message. The challenge is that once the proof is created, those instructions aren't easily accessible within the proof itself.Ideally, we'd like to build a Fusion scenario that:Detects a newly created proof. Retrieves the custom email message. Automatically posts that message as the first comment in the proof. This would preserve review intent and project-specific instructions directly within the proof, even if the original email is deleted or lost.My main question:Does the Workfront Proof API expose the value entered in Email Notification → Add Custom Message → Message? If so, has anyone successfully used Fusion to retrieve that value and create a proof comment from it? I'd also be interested in hearing what modules, API calls, or overall framework you used.Any insights or examples wo

Hi everyone,I'm brand new to Workfront Fusion and recently completed the Fusion training courses. Our team is trying to connect Workfront Fusion to our Workfront Preview environment so we can build and test scenarios before moving them to Production.I've successfully created an OAuth application and generated a Client ID and Client Secret, but I'm getting stuck during the authentication setup. When I use the Preview domain, I receive an error indicating the application can't be found, and I've also run into issues determining the correct domain and redirect URL to use for the Preview environment.I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple, but after spending quite a bit of time troubleshooting, I'm stuck and would appreciate any guidance from someone who has successfully connected Fusion to a Workfront Preview instance.Any tips, screenshots, or examples of a working setup would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Is there a way in Fusion to generate a report of all scenarios that have turned off/errored out in the past week or so?

Is anyone using Fusion to connect Frame IO and their Workfront projects?

I have created a Fusion scenario that removes deactivated users from their Home Team. The issue is that they still have Other Teams. I tried everything I could think of and kept getting errors to set their other teams to null. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?Maybe I need to come at this from the Team side and remove any inactive users versus using the user update scenario to do it. It’s just that I have the user one accomplishing other actions so I was hoping to get the user profile corrected using the same scenario.

Hi all! I’ve created several Fusion scenarios to create tasks based on a cadence and while everything is working as expected, the only portion I can’t figure out is adding planned hours to each of the tasks. I have a project I use to store the tasks and their planned hours and right before the create tasks module I have a search module to go through that project and match the task name and output the planned hours (work required), but when I map the planned hours section in the create task module the planned hours don’t get added. For context the tasks are being created on a Simple duration type with a Fixed Dates constraint and are initially unassigned. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if there is a way to create a Fusion scenario that could add/remove users from a Proof Group?Thinking if we create a request queue that has proof group name, a field for the user they want added, and another field for any user they want removed. Then create a Fusion scenario to make those user updates to the Proof group. Is this possible? and if so what modules would we need to accomplish this?

Has anyone worked with WorkFocus.io? We’re in the process of implementing Fusion within our Workfront environment and have purchased 40 hours of consulting support. We’ve outlined several automation scenarios we’d like to build and are hoping to learn from others’ experiences (see screenshot)A few questions for those who have worked with them:What was your overall experience like? How many Fusion scenarios were they able to help you set up within your allotted hours? Did they recommend or require purchasing additional hours? Did they provide training or explain what they were building behind the scenes? Did they conduct a discovery session and help estimate the effort required for each scenario upfront?Because Fusion consulting can be a significant investment, we want to make sure we're planning our time and budget appropriately. Any feedback, advice, or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
