Searching For A Hyperlink In Note Text

I am attempting to search the system for any Updates/Notes that contain a certain hyperlink. When I run a Note report in Workfront, or do a search in Fusion, I am getting no results.

How can I achieve searching for hyperlinks posted on Notes?

I have a Note report that I use for searching for specific Updates. When searching for specific text within an update I use a prompt:

Note » Note Text

then CONTAINS

I just ran it for Note Text CONTAINS my.wokfront.com and it gave me 5,000+ results.

If you’re looking for a certain link, try using all or part of the text of that link.

Thank you for the reply.

I have used this method but get no results when searching for the entire link. I can confirm that the a Note does exist containing the hyperlink I specify, but nothing comes up when using the CONTAINS search function on a Note report.

Additionally, when I review all of the Notes on the source project, I can find the timecode for the Note I am searching for and see that the Notetext is blank:

The hyperlink Note I am looking for is sourced from Fusion, so could there be anything with the HTML that could be getting in the way?

If you pull in the details for that specific note with Fusion, what object has the hyperlink in it?

Looks like it lives in the html.

however when I do an API call for html on a Note, I am getting a 422 error?

That’s odd. What’s throwing me is what’s in the HTML field is definitely not HTML, and there’s nothing in the noteText field like I would expect it to be, which is how I was going to suggest. Maybe for fun try using noteText anyway?
