Is there a method to highlight duplicate values in a column in a report, similar to how Excel's conditional formatting works for highlighting duplicates?For example, if a column contains the value "123" twice, it should be flagged as a duplicate.

Is there a (calculated field, text mode?) way to transfer the data / selection of a field that is captured on a custom form at the project level, to a custom form on the Program of that project? Thanks in advance!

Hello! I created a new custom form for when our people need to make a request to a specific team, but for some reason I can't get it to show up in the dropdown when trying to submit the request. I checked and made sure the form is active and was shared correctly. Also, I can't figure out how to make sure that this form sends the requests to the right queue. Can anyone help? Thanks! Justin

I have built a task report that is pulling in tasks that have a specific custom form field on them. The tasks with the custom form field are parent tasks with the name of the deliverable, so there are lots of subtasks. I would like to add a column that lists the next subtask that is ready. I want to be able to see which subtask is next.   Hi Folks,   Based on this interesting challenge from @mariacr2, I'm pleased to share the following technique to easily edit a custom data parameter (e.g. a Tactic Delivery Date on a particular Task) and have it "echo" to its peers (e.g. all other Tasks on the same Project), without Fusion, and always kept "fresh" after each page refresh.   Here's the textmode for the final column, noting that the trick is to go "up" (on a Task report or view) to each project.tasks in the nested listmethod:   displayname=Other Tactic Delivery Date(s) type=iterate listdelimiter=<p> listmethod=nested(project.tasks).lists valueexpression={DE:Tactic Delivery Date} valueformat=HTML   You could make the valueexpression more sophisticated (e.g. IF, CONCAT, etc.), and in a similar fashion, you could echo custom data between Issues on a Task or Project, Projects in a Program or Portfolio...lots of potential.   Enjoy, have fun, and if you put it to good use, I'd ap

Hello Workfront friends! I could use a little assistance on trying to run a report. In our instance, we have what I'll call a "parent" project in each Program. This project has a custom form tied to it where we collect certain metadata for reporting. There are "child projects" in each program related to that parent project - however the metadata is all really collected in that parent project. I'd like to run a report, and filter based on one of the fields in the "parent project" custom form, to pull into the report only certain parent projects. However, I'd also like the report to pull in all of the "child projects" that are in the same program as the filtered parent projects. Any suggestions on how to go about this? Hello, WF community! Looking for some input, would like to understand what different customers are doing that have group admins. How do you handle governance/change management/updates in production? Not governance in terms of access levels and such, more like processes among group & sys admins when it comes to making changes in production for their groups. Are you doing a free for all approach where the group admins can do whatever they want directly in prod? Or do you have an approval process of sorts like group admins make updates in sandbox and only sys admins can review and push to prod? If you have guardrails or an approval process, what is it? I'm sure there's a mix, so looking for examples on your approach to group vs. sys admin change management/controls around what goes live in production. Thank you in advance!

For one of our clients, I am trying to automate the creation of a project based on a matrix they now use in Excel. In total there are 3 different data points per row that need to automatically trigger a combination of the tasks of the total project template. Once every row has determined which portion of the tasks of the template are needed, they are stitched together to create a total overview of what needs to be requested. I will try to provide an example that has nothing to do with the client itself but does reflect the complexity of the original idea. Let’s assume I go own a restaurant for which I am keeping track of the different orders. My menu consists of two courses and a drink such that people can order a starter, a main course, and something to drink. In total there are two options per course and the course options have a step-by-step process of how they are created and must be served such that quality is upheld throughout the different orders. Hi All,I'm trying to search for Assignments using the Custom Workfront API Call module.Is there a way to somehow flter on the custom field value of reference record? E.g. when searching for assignments, can I filter so that only assignments are returned that belong to a task with a certain custom form field value?I tried adding query strings like task:parameterValues:DE:FIELD=foo, task:DE:FIELD=foo, task:FIELD=foo, but all of these returned an error.Thanks,Tibor

Hi friends! We have a milestone path we've attached to certain projects. I've gotten a request to create a board where the milestones are the columns. I've searched some, I've played some, but I can't seem to figure it out. Is this possible?

Hi. I know that deleting a custom form also deletes all custom data on the objects associated with the form. But does that mean it deletes ALL data that a particular field holds across ANY custom forms where that field may live? For example, if a have "Custom Form A" that uses a field that records which department is making the request. And "Custom Form B" that uses the same field. What happens to the data associated with that field for "Custom Form A" if I delete "Custom Form B."  Can I delete one custom form and still keep historical data for other custom forms that use the same fields? Hope my question makes sense.

Would love to hear from the developers themselves at this point. Is it difficult to integrate into the platform? I have Workfront open all day, and the plain white background hurts my eyes after prolonged use. A dark mode would surely be appreciated by me and COUNTLESS others. I believe this is an accessibility issue at this point. 

We're looking to incorporating a DAM and want to know what experiences you have had (good and bad) with what's out there. I believe some people use box.com also for this purpose but it's limited in what we are looking to do. Thanks for your feedback!
