I am working with only AT and Web SDK. So I need to write user categories into user profile (my customer does not have AA)Depending on the URL path I would like to update visitor profile with values:if /finance profile.interests = 'finance' if '/real-estate' profile.interests = 'real estate' How to do that in order to have on the profile array of values?Likeprofile.interests = [finance, real estate, banking .....]Any ideas?

Hi All,We are passing batch audience from Adobe CDP to target for next page personalization. There are two pages which we are activating personalization on. Here are the scenario:User lands on Page 1 and on their next visit to the site they are served page 2 as the first tab. This works fine as we have created an audience in CDP and passing it to Target. The problem is that these user upon their third visit are still shown the page 2 as the first tab and can never go back to page 1 as the target experience keeps reloading. We have tried excluding the audience but it excludes from the personalization altogether. What is the best possible scenario/solution here ?

Is it a way to use event Type in Target audience building from Web SDK? Updating Media 

I want to know how we can achieve the below requirement for the personalization from recommendation.We have to personalize the products through the recommendation in the carousel where the male products are visible to male visitors, female products are visible to female visitors and also on the basis for the geo location like if the person is from bangalore than the person should have the most viewed product from Bangalore city only i.e. recommending the products as per the user location.If the above is possible than how we can do these things. I have checked it might be possible with the profile attribute matching or profile matching filter but I am not getting the proper steps for this.

Hey guys, has anyone managed to get the automatic click tracking of Target activities, played out through Web SDK, to work?   We are applying the "data-aep-click-label" label to our CTAs   The click is triggering a "decisioning.propositionInteract" call as it should, but we are constantly seeing this error in our dataset. "The message cannot be validated due to the format error: #/_experience/decisioning/propositions/0/items/0/id: [1214107:12] is not a valid URI reference."   Now, looking at the schema, the field indeed requires a url-reference formatted string in events[0].xdm._experience.decisioning.propositions[0].items[0].id     but this is what the Web SDK is implicitly sending, so no changes from our end, and surely not a URL-style value. Any idea whether this has to somehow be configured? As mentioned, all we do is add the label and Web SDK should do the rest.

Hello everyone,In Adobe Target, the Priority (0-999) setting determines which activity gets executed first. From my understanding, a higher number means higher priority, so the activity with the highest number is displayed first.Is there an option where a lower-priority number gets executed first instead of a higher one?If I have different audiences assigned to different activities and set priorities for them, will Adobe Target execute the activities based on priority or based on audience qualification?Thank you for your support.Thanks,Vishnupriya R

Hello! I am trying to rearrange a card deck on my website in an Experience Targeting activity based on geolocation of the visitor. The "rearrange" / "move" functionality seems to not be an available feature anymore. Is there any suggested work arounds, I have tried HTML and it is not working for me in this case. Is the Adobe team looking to bring this feature back any time soon?  Thank you.

The new VEC UI seems to have made things even harder for those that aren't developers. Previously, there was the ability to move elements on a page. I can't find how to do this on the new UI.  Anyone have any idea? thanks

Hello All, I have a SPA that has Target 2.0. Here is the user flow and what I am trying to achieve Starting URL is URL_A .  It has 3 views - v1, v2 and v3 that load one after the other based on user actions. I am able to navigate to these views within VEC and make changes / add custom code etc - so that is goodon V3 of URL_A, there is a CTA that leads to URL_B view V1. Please note that this is not a page refresh.On URL_B / view V1, I would like to make a change. So I change to 'Design' mode. What happens is the browser within VEC goes all the way back to URL_A / view V1The SPA is react js - if that helps. Can you throw light on what is happening here please? Is this an implementation issue ? or an application issue? In short, I would like to make changes to multiple views that spans across different urls. But I am unable to. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hey there! Last week, I noticed an issue where MVTs targeted to exactly one page were instead showing sitewide on the Property. Curious, has anyone else has experienced the URL scope being ignored? I'd love to hear if others have seen the same issue recently or found a cause or workaround.Thanks in advance!

How would you do such a use-case that user spent more than 10 sec on some specific site?

I have uploaded a product catalog using the Save Entities API. I passed relative page URLs while uploading the data. However, in the product catalog the thumbnail base URL( from recommendation setting) is being appended to the page URL. I checked the entity value using GET Entities API, and it shows the relative page URL as expected. It is only in the UI that the appended URL is displayed. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

This is a pretty general question, but how exactly does Target caching work? I've found that at times, clearing cache is needed to see an XT activity in the  browser; other times, an activity appears when clearing cache in Firefox but not Chrome browser; other times an activity appears in the cached browser but not in incognito! There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to this so just wondering if there is more info about that somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Hello Community,I have a scenario where personalization is shown on Page A, but the actual conversion (purchase) happens several steps later on a Thank You Page after 3–4 intermediate pages.My questions are:In Target-only reporting, how does Adobe Target ensure conversions are attributed only to users who actually saw the personalization on Page A?What happens if a visitor never saw Page A but still makes a purchase — is that conversion excluded from the activity results?Would using a dynamic mbox on the Thank You Page be the best way to track conversions reliably across this multi-page journey?If yes, how should I configure it so that only exposed visitors are counted towards conversion metrics?In addition, I also want to track clicks on a CTA banner on Page A as an intermediate success metric, as well as the final purchase on the Thank You Page.Is the right approach to use a dynamic mbox / trackEvent on the banner click to capture click data?Can I configure both “click” and “purchase

Is there a way we can the list of pages where target activity running in Adobe Analytics. I tried using the Target Activities exists segment on a hit level and pulled the URL report. But the report has huge no.of pages where it is giving all the pages which are associated within Activity Journey on that visit. Can anyone please help me getting the report?

Good day all, I'm following the documentation at What are Hosts and How Do I Use Them? | Adobe Target and the on-screen instructions, but I'm not getting expected results. The documentation says to place hosts on new lines, doesn't mention commas, and the error message says no new lines (says no to a lot of things). The help text says use commas, but the error says no. How have you entered authorized hosts?Thanks all, -Brent
